    I've been playing for a very long time. I wish it wasn't so hard. There is an assist mode but it still feels bad.

    Acho que é o único do gênero que joguei.

    O visual é bem legal, mesmo em pixel art, dá para reparar que é muito detalhado. O cenário e os inimigos são bem variados e as armas e equipamentos geram várias estratégias possíveis. Pontos Positivos + Controles respondem muito bem + Visual e música + Variação nos equipamentos e habilidades Pontos Negativos + Tem vezes que depende    Acho que é o único do gênero que joguei.

    We are all aware that Dead Cells is a game overshadowed by Hades. As far as I can see, he is constantly compared to Hades. But did you know that Dead Cells is a game released a year earlier? The two games are the same genre, even two-dimensional, but they're actually so different. They're both two-dimensional, but their preferred dimensions aren't even the same. However, I don't think it's a game that can be crushed under Hades.

    Dead Cells is basically a Roguelike game, based on dying and playing again. In such games it is difficult to keep the player in the game because no one likes to lose progress. Therefore, it is necessary to show the player that he is making progress, that the previous half-hour sequence was not wasted. Dead Cells does this, but in a slightly different way than other games. While other games usually provide you with permanent updates that will work in other rounds, Dead Cells does these updates in two ways; new platforming abilities and new items/weapons. Thus, the game stands out with one difference from other games of the same genre: Exploration. Dead Cells is a game about exploring and trying new things more than its counterparts. Although there are countless weapons in the game, you have to discover these weapons in previous games and buy them later. Thus, when you die, you will be able to explore more places and try different weapon alternatives in the next round. This keeps you in the loop of gameplay.

    The game is difficult at first. Because there is no "regenerate health by staying out of combat" mechanic that we are used to for a long time. Well naturally, the game expects you to die and play again. While the game is difficult even in this state, it also shows you that when you finish the game, you have actually finished the easiest part of the game, and you have a longer road ahead of you. Here some people may quit the game, but it is also possible to see a large majority that continues to play. In addition, it does this challenge not only by increasing the number and health of monsters, but by actually causing a separate trouble for you at every difficulty level.

    The game also incorporated death and resurrection into the story. In most games, dying does not end the game, you either rewind or respawn, this is actually a mechanic that we are very used to, but we have to accept that it is not very logical. However, Dead Cells incorporated this death into the story. So dying and being resurrected is a part of you in this universe, which cuts down on not understanding anything from the story. Games don't always need to understand the entire universe, but the player at least wants to understand the main scenario, why he's doing what he's doing at that moment, and Dead Cells replies, "The character you're directing in the game doesn't know why he's doing what he's doing either." While this may seem like a short cut, at least it's a simple mechanic that prevents you from finishing the game without understanding anything.

    In short, Hades might seem like a better game in the first 5-10 hours, with more exploration, innovations and difficulty, but if you're looking for a game that you can play longer, Dead Cells definitely offers a longer and deeper gameplay. I definitely suggest you give it a chance.    … Expand

    Muy muy buen juego, aún me queda mucho por avanzar pero los mapas que he visitado son visualmente agradables y la movilidad se siente bastante bien. Lo único que a mi personalmente no me agrada se trata de la música

    Почему же я всё-таки решил сыграть: 1) Что заставило сыграть так это графика и механика игры схожая с dark souls (хардкор).
    2)После 10 минутной игры хотелось узнать больше о сюжете .Это добавляло интриги и желания играть.

    Мне не особо нравится данный сейтинг игр, но эта игра смогла мной овладеть в хорошем смысле. Впечатляющие саундтреки которые всегда были в тему с локацией, графика,сюжет .(хоть кому-то и может показаться что сюжета там небыло,но для меня бегать по локации и искать разбитый пазл сюжета , а затем собирать его в едино было очень приятно и интересно.) Также в микро кат сценах есть свой шарм (анимация как самого гг так и мобов)

    Моя оценка субъективная и в данном жанре я мало что понимаю. Мог не заметить или пропустить что то.Для меня игра отличная !    … Expand

    I am getting used to play with gamepad. This is the 2nd game that I have played with gamepad. It was an amazing experience but the game is too short. Still I had fun.

    Dead cells, c'est le meilleur rogue lite 2D! un plaisir fou a jouer et l'addiction devient vite présente! petit défaut: les boss sont en déca des niveaux qui eux, sont géniaux. d'une beauté sans pareille, a jouer pour tout fan de rogue lite

    Easily one of the most addictive rogue-lite games on the market. The gameplay is very easy to pick up and play, and very rewarding when you find the rhythm. The gameplay really echoes and channels your deepest muscle memory of playing platforming games in the 16bit era, except with the modern fast pace that you would expect from most games these days. Its very fast paced, it almost feelsEasily one of the most addictive rogue-lite games on the market. The gameplay is very easy to pick up and play, and very rewarding when you find the rhythm. The gameplay really echoes and channels your deepest muscle memory of playing platforming games in the 16bit era, except with the modern fast pace that you would expect from most games these days. Its very fast paced, it almost feels like button mashing at times, but the gameplay is very tight and fluid. The progression system is also very well paced, and it drip feeds new items at a perfect speed. The game consistently introduces new items, moves, or costumes for you to work toward unlocking, so it brings in some grinding, but it is not a chore by any means. Its fun exploring the new weapons and finding the best combinations. The graphics and sound are beautiful as well, which also pulls at your nostalgia strings. Everything is very simple, yet very effective.

    I have been playing this game for years across multiple systems, and I keep coming back for more. This game was fantastic years ago, and its even better now in 2023. The amount of content they continue to add to the game is astonishing, and I absolutely love all of the easter eggs to the major indie games on Steam that share the shelf space with this game. I would highly recommend you buy all of the DLC upfront - it adds so many new areas, new costumes, and new weapons that its best just to have it from the start.

    The only flaw with this game is something that this genre will naturally suffer from. While there is a ton of content to unlock, there will always be a wall that you hit with this game where it begins to feel repetitive. I personally think that this is unavoidable in a genre which involves doing the same thing over and over. But of all the rogue lite games, this is the one I have consistently returned to.     I have been a regular player of dead cells since its early access (250hrs), the development of this game is too 'active' in my opinion.     What an Amazing game. Being a Roguelike. You start from level one on death which adds great tension to each run. As you gradualy unlock new weapons, Items and buffs etc each run becomes more interesting and the great design of these accessaries gives you the option for many combos.     When i first played dead cells when it first released, i was amazed by the pixel graphic (still one of the best pixel games's graphic in 2021), the most interesting and challeging gameplay and the deep of the world - every is just perfect. Later Dlc and updates is also good, too. Easy 10/10. But later updates (v19 updates), the crossbows is change to becomes 2 slot weapon,    Review in 2021

    The adrenaline I get from this game is the best. The storyline, difficulties, monsters, bosses, music, background art, everything keeps me on the edge of my seat. Controls are intuitive. At first, you may feel that the concept of dying and starting all over is a huge waste of time and might feel like rage quitting the game but once you get the hang of it, you will be hooked. This isThe adrenaline I get from this game is the best. The storyline, difficulties, monsters, bosses, music, background art, everything keeps me on the edge of my seat. Controls are intuitive. At first, you may feel that the concept of dying and starting all over is a huge waste of time and might feel like rage quitting the game but once you get the hang of it, you will be hooked. This is basically what I went through. However I would still give a disclaimer that you could get addicted. But I don't see anything wrong in getting addicted on Dead Cells.     Ben bu oyunu kişilerin eline sağlık derim. Bu kadar güzel oyun yapmak zordur hem hikayesi kaliteli hem de oynanış mekaniği açısından insanı tatmin ediyor. Tek kötü yanı souls gibi yapmışlar ve öldükten sonra başa gidiyorsunuz ama giderken kendinizi geliştiriyorsunuz. En son da ölmeden bitiriyorsunuz.

    Драйв прохождения - есть. Возможность манипулировать ходом игры в плане развития персонажа - есть. Баланс смещен больше в сторону скилла и понимания игры, менее рандомозависимая, нежели Айзек. В общем прекрасная игра.    Образцовый рогалик.
    Постепенное открытие контента - есть.
    Драйв прохождения - есть.
    Возможность манипулировать ходом игры в плане развития персонажа - есть.
    Баланс смещен больше в сторону скилла и понимания игры, менее рандомозависимая, нежели Айзек.

А сюжет… он здесь есть вообще? Именно не завязка, а конкретно    Графика 6/10

    Жаль что за геймплей нельзя больше поставить, я бы поставил этой игре 20/10 за геймплей, он тут шикарный, отличное управление, шикарная боевая система, игра также заточена под реиграбельность из-за наличия стволовых клеток и кучи разного оружия, с которым можно составлять билды. А сюжет… он здесь есть вообще? Именно не завязка, а конкретно сюжет? Я за 200 часов игры его не нашёл хд

    Dead Cells is a charming video game that makes you play it again and again with its nice combat system and art design. The levels are designed in such a way as to maintain balance in the gameplay. Also the music is very harmonious with the scenes.
    In a word, Dead Cells is a clear example of a roguelike title.

Also, I like how can you find your favorite builds, and synergies between items (for example the first item freezes enemies and the second one deals +175% damage to frozen mobs) A lot of weapons lets everyone find his style. Moreover, I was surprised that you can choose the weapons you wanna play in custom mode. I was upsetDynamic and adrenaline gameplay makes this game so enjoyable. And it's not cheating or something like that. You're just reducing the impact of luck and random drops have to focus on your skill. Finally, this feeling when you first time beats the game after a lot of runs. Jeeez.

    Dead Cells is an adrenaline duty for every player. It gets you not only with a beautifully crafted dark world and countless weapons, but mostly with elaborated gameplay. [Issue#288]

    Combat is very satisfying: strikes have proper weight behind them, hitboxes are where you expect them to be and controls are very responsive. Procedural generation, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired: from playthrough to playthrough, levels feel too similar. [Issue#232, p.68]
