    Days Gone es uno de los mejores videojuegos que se han **** en la historia. El mundo de Oregon técnicamente y artísticamente es abrumador, la conducción y su sensación es perfecta, la jugabilidad y la historia son muy buenas, la customizacion, las armas, las IA de los enemigos y las colmenas son soberbios. Han logrado que un mundo postapocaliptico deshabitado se sienta realmente vivo,Days Gone es uno de los mejores videojuegos que se han **** en la historia. El mundo de Oregon técnicamente y artísticamente es abrumador, la conducción y su sensación es perfecta, la jugabilidad y la historia son muy buenas, la customizacion, las armas, las IA de los enemigos y las colmenas son soberbios. Han logrado que un mundo postapocaliptico deshabitado se sienta realmente vivo, súper inmerso, es realmente divertido y dinámico, dentro de sus posibilidades y mecánicas es asombroso. Se puede entrar en todas las casas, recolectar recursos y materiales del mundo para crear armas, todo tipo de artefactos, flechas, silenciadores, cápsulas y un largo etc. mención especial para el apartado gráfico que está perfectamente a la altura de Uncharted solo que Days Gone lo hace en mundo abierto. El tema de estar pendiente de la gasolina y tantas cosas más demuestra lo coherente y lo bien pesando que está todo. Hace uso del sigilo también, como el ruido atrae a los infectados y la diversidad den tipos de infectados, la chillona y tantos más. El tema de las colmenas es impresionante como este juego soporta esa carga de elementos en pantallas y podría seguir con todas las cosas que tiene este juego. Artísticamente para ser un ambiente postapocaliptico de montaña no se hace monótono. Siendo crítico creo que falla en dos cosas: las animaciones de las cinemáticas concretamente la sincronización labial y los enemigos humanos y sus bases por lo general tienen poco trabajada la IA, incluso con esos
    Pequeños defectos merece como poco un 9. Cualquiera que de verdad lo haya jugado ha quedado fascinado, es una pena que se haya **** justicia años después ahora que tantísima gente lo ha jugado. Respecto a la gente que le da ceros y unos sencillamente no lo han jugado y los que lo valoran mal siento decirlo pero no tienen ni puñetera idea de lo que es un buen videojuego. La prensa se ha cebado injustamente con el juego y llevados por ese mantra muchas personas, especialmente haters de Sony lo han destrozado, es una auténtica lástima, gracias a eso no habrá segunda parte, mientras, salen videojuegos como Cyberpunk y muchos otros que son auténticos bodrios elevados por la prensa y los fanáticos sin criterio.     La prensa lo alabarían y ya estaría en marcha su segunda entrega. Este juego es el claro ejemplo de cómo la prensa puede destruir una franquicia simplemente porque le apetece, y por qué además si es un juego de Sony siempre debe dar más que cualquier otro juego, incluso a pesar de que como es el caso sea mejor que la mayoría de juegos de la industria. No está hecha la miel para la boca del asno sería una buena forma de retratar a prensa y a usuarios, bueno, ya se ha retratado la prensa con Cyberpunk y tantos más. Luego llegará Starfield con 10.000 millones de bugs más, acartonado, sin personalidad, con un atroz apartado artístico y mecánicas arcaicas y no pasará nada, juegazo dirán, un 10, nada nuevo. Así funciona esta industria bajo la tutela de la prensa. En este mismo portal The Last of Us II el mejor y más premiado juego de la historia con cientos de miles y miles de ceros, de vergüenza y todo porque oh! Ellie es lesbiana! Cosa que ya se intuía en Last Behind y porque les pones una trama cojonuda, de **** narrativa mente es lo mejor que se ha creado jamás, con un giro increible que te obliga a enfrentarte a ti mismo y resulta que no entendieron nada, parece ser que la excelencia no es soportada por algunos. En fin, llegará otro Grand The Auto para ofrecer lo mismo de siempre y… un 10. Hay juegos que poco importa como sean, tendrán un 20 porque la nota se la ponen a la compañía no al producto. Starfield ya tiene un 10, y lo tiene desde el día que mostró una ilustración y logotipo, nadador sabía nada acerca del juego pero… es un juego de 10. Y mientras joyas como Days Gone se han enterrado. Ánimo a los que no lo hayan jugado. Solo a personas con criterio y gusto desarrollado, con criterio artístico, que aprecien la calidad de un producto y lo comprenden porque solo este tipo de consumidor será capaz de apreciar, amar y recordar para siempre Days Gone, porque en esencia es eso, un juego memorable, único e irrepetible que amarán.

    The story fails to interest me, it's just another zombie story. The combat, Jesus the combat, it's terrible. Everything is clunky. And don't even bother using a gun, it's miserable.

    Overall phenomenal game. It was very underrated when it launched, but seems like it gained more and more popularity in recent years, especially after PC release. It's not flawless tho, there are too many missions, so obviously not all of them are great. But i would say most missions are solid and some are very good. Just another zombie looting game. I'd rather play Assassins Creed Odyssey or Valhalla than this. I've never liked zombie games except for Resident Evil and Evil Within games.

    This game has a bad case of third person perspective **** while shooting, you dont shoot where you are aiming at and it gets worse the closer enemies are. On consoles, kids dont notice or care about this because they just turn auto aim and breath through their mouths.
    The stealth is childish just like on the assassins creed franchise, crouch and you are invisible.

    Your motorcycle drinks more gas than a v12 monster truck.
    There is no animation when you use curatives and no visual clues on your character that you are hurt, so if you play with the hud off you never know if you one hit away from dying (takes 2 on survival).
    Feels like an uninspired low budget game that was given more time and budget than it deserved, its polished and runs well, thats basically its only quality imo everything else is BORING.    … Expand

    That said, the negatives heavily outweigh the positive. This includes in game bugs that can be downright infuriating, unfair save game cycles you have very little control over, basic weapons and vehicle mechanics that often feel awkward.

    There's a real lack of balance game and cohesion in the story. Points are gained by building trust but its uneven between camps you visit which creates some real issues when it comes to things like fuelling up, re-arming and buying weapons and other provisions.

    Many of the missions add little to the disjointed plot and sub plot ridden story too and end up feeling like busy work. Its not helped either by limited diversity in environments and somewhat repetitive enemies.

    All in all, this one bored me after 3-4 hours of game play and I can not recommend it at its current purchase price.    … Expand

    I can't believe this game wont get a sequel. Days Gone is best open-world zombie game ever made. Nothing comes even close. Dying Light is extremely boring compared to Days Gone. Graphics, music, characters, world design - everything is just great. Of course it has some filler missions, but that could be said about every game ever.

    Good optimization, really GOOD story, interesting characters, the usual repetitive content (but it's limited and varied enough), a lot of weapons to use and modifications for your bike, a varied open world and good duration.

    Terrible pacing. You will witness meaningless fighting against stupid AI during tedious cutscene. Bad ending. There is just not gonna get an sequel, wonder how dare they wrote a confusing ending without explaining it. The purpose of finding his wife bring nothing but cringe and question, like why the flock did I spend my time in this rubbish.

Not only that, but even when you do get bikes and beds, you have to 1) get to them, and 2) not have enemies around. It's a major step back in time and should not exist on a PC game in 2021.

    * I've encountered a couple of immersion-breaking bugs: an enemy standing in mid-air dozens of feet up, and a zombie that was frozen in position on the ground like a stone.

    * I don't know why they thought it'd be a good idea to have to hold down the X (or 'E' on keyboard/mouse) button for half the actions in the game. I looked for a setting to disable or speed this up, but there is none. It's bizarre and adds nothing, just wastes time and hurts my thumb. As well, this makes you sit through a tedious animation every time you craft an item, etc. It gets old fast.

    * The story and characters are uninspiring and generic. I've probably been spoiled by games like The Witcher 3, but "do fetch quest for camp leader so you can unlock next section" doesn't seem like it should fly in modern games.

    Pros:
    * I'm a massive Last of Us fan, and parts of it will feel familiar to TLoU players (stealth combat, scavenging), which is a pro if you like those mechanics, but TLoU did them better. It's far too easy to get rich with resources even on Hard. Stealth is also janky compared to TLoU. I had enemies spotting me without looking at me (literally looking 180 degrees the other direction, which now that I think about it, is yet another bug).

    * There's a few things that are new: the bike travel, the dynamic weather system, and the hordes to name a few.

    * If I rated games purely on visuals, this would get a thumbs-up. It's much more outdoor-oriented than the more-urban TLoU (though that game has beauty in its world's decay), and some of the views are breathtaking.

    Summary:
    * If they fixed things: more reliable save system, fewer tedious animations, several weeks on physics bug-fixing, and either ditched (for a pure sandbox open world) or improved the story, I would like this game! I really would. But they cut too many corners. Like another reviewer said, this feels like a Cyberpunk situation, where a non-AAA-size team was forced to release something too fast, too soon. There's a great game somewhere under the messy surface.    … Expand

    Boring, predictable, and just like most PS exclusives. I gave it about 5 hours, and just couldn't do it anymore. The game play, it's fine, not great, not bad, but just like every playstation exclusive you have ever played. Which means it comes with the same generic controller scheme. The story, and characters are things you have already seen on any AMC zombie show with a biker, incrediblyBoring, predictable, and just like most PS exclusives. I gave it about 5 hours, and just couldn't do it anymore. The game play, it's fine, not great, not bad, but just like every playstation exclusive you have ever played. Which means it comes with the same generic controller scheme. The story, and characters are things you have already seen on any AMC zombie show with a biker, incredibly uninspired. There isn't enough to pull you in. The games graphics are good enough I guess. The game is fine, if fine is all you are looking for, go ahead and pick it up.     Turns out hordes are pretty much optional and the demo video was way better than the final game.

    Can't even describe how my impression on this game was ruined with UNSKIPPABLE titles knowing there is still things to be done and haveing checkpoint not after that UNSKIPPABLE titles but before the end fight.

    Uninstalled this after I couldn't get back to my bike that gets -100 miles to a gallon. Could have been a good game, but wasn't thought out enough.

    -They obviously need to patch the game more...npcs would vanish...rooms wouldn't load in right...but that's to be expected and didn't hurt the experience much!

    Pros:

    -Sam Witwer is great any role he gets so I knew he'd be fantastic in this (and he was)
    -The world looks great and doesn't seem like a generic zombie open world game at all. Great effects/photo mode, too
    -The combat is good (and can be unpredictable..which I appreciate). Has some nice variety, too
    -The supporting characters (especially Boozer and Ricki) were great
    -Has a real Last of Us feel for looting/scavenging.
    -Love that it’s based in Oregon...they obviously put a lot work/care into it, as well.
    -The challenges are a lot of fun...good practice, too. Thumbs up for letting you play with different characters!

    The main thing that held this game back was they skipped past 2-3 big scenes.

    That and the ending wasn’t anything special (unless there’s a sequel) and it was have been nice to send off Kouri/O’brian/Lisa on better notes.

    With that said...it’s a FUN experience with endearing characters in a setting I love.

    The game was just a terrible unimaginative rehash of other survival games. Lots of frustrating bugs, repetitive game play, uninteresting characters and storyline. I think the game needed at least another year of work before it was released.

    I'm not finished after 40hrs. But I can safely say it's one of the best open world games I've ever played. WAY more fun than Valhalla or the boring chore RDR2. I can't believe it how good Days Gone is. The progression system feels very good, the bike as RP element is great and unique. The gameplay - esp. stealth works better than in recent Ubi games. Задания все оч однотипные, особенно те, что выдают в лагерях, охота и собирательство ваще не нужны и не понятно нах они ваще в игре, целенаправленно этим заниматься 0 смысла, никто норм бабок не платит тебе в лагерях за такие вещи. Еще одна оч странная вещь в этой игре - это экономика. Она фиг пойми ваще как работает, в каждом лагере у тебя разное количество денег, тип тебе считай не платят даже за задания, а выдают так сказать право покупать товары на определенную сумму в одном определенном лагере, ерунда полная как по мне. Технических проблем зато вообще 0, один из лучших портов с консоли, оптимизон на уровне, как и графон в целом. Механика орд кста, вот тут спорно на самом деле, и спорно вот в чем: сама по себе орда це круто, однако этих орд по карте очень много, а убивать ты их нормально сможешь только в конце игры, да и по сюжету они ток в конце игры идут, ну механика то классная, только видишь ты ее редко, либо тебе придется очень жестко потеть, либо просто прокачаться и под конец игры выносить. Ну в целом игра хорошая, проходить ее в целом интересно, особенно во второй половине, но затянутая шо пепец канеш, можно было и покороче сделать я думаю, много моментов есть необязательных абсолютно.… Expand

It's fun to play no doubt but it features hate speech constantly but we don't have suicide bombers or the ADL so these douches get away with it. It features church burning, it features all sorts of marxist SJW/perverts garbage, all sorts of antichristian themes and subliminals etc etc. Sony/Bend are trash tbh, HZD was another revolting game that looked good and had good gameplay but had an SJW trans main character and marxist story. It features a woman, who has a rod up her bum, who admits she's partly responsible for billions of deaths but in the end she's just enjoying herself back at the bunkhouse? Mmmkay. The protaganist is a douchebag of the highest order, a mentally disturbed murderer who mumbles wildly to himself a lot who is very holier than thou. He loves his hat and jacket. It sort of fades away, probably for a sequel, because the ending is just "we blew up a huge base of our enemies", nothing further about nero or the larger/deeper details or anything else. The world is nice to look at but after a while the side quests etc just get boring, the same thing over and over. DON'T even compare this to Dying Light which is a much better zombie game from 2015, memorable side stories and main characters, more immersive, much more suspenseful and scary, amazing atmosphere etc etc etc I did not support these devs or sony, borrowed a copy of it.… Expand

İnsanlığın tarifsiz bir felaket yaşaması, evrimsel bir darboğazdan geçmesi, hayatta kalan insanların ortalama karakteristik özelliklerinin değişmesi ve türümüzün hayatta kalma çabasına ek olarak yeni bir medeniyet inşa etme hikayesi her zaman ilgimi çekecek gibi duruyor. Ancak bu alanda o kadar çok eser çıktı ve kalite o kadar yükseldi ki türün hakkını verebilmek gün geçtikçe zorlaşıyor.

    Days Gone türü itibariyle bana iki oyunu anımsattı: Dying Light ve Metro serisi. Açık dünya olmasıyla Dying Light'a yakınken, hikayesinin odağı, craft sistemi ve oynanışın nispeten basit olmasıyla Metro serisine benziyor.

    Kötü taraflarıyla başlayalım. Days Gone'ın combat'ı oldukça sıkıcı. Yakın dövüşte birçok silah yapabiliyor gibi görünseniz de hepsinin oynanışı aynı ve bir yerden sonra bayıyor. Oysa Dying Light, elektrikli veya alevli gibi yakın dövüş silahlarıyla inanılmaz bir çeşitlilik sunuyordu. Diğer yandan menzilli silahlarda birçok çeşitlilik var ve bunların oynanışa etkisi ciddi. Fakat burada da silah edinme şeklinin sadece satın alma olması ve kampların güvenini ayrı ayrı geliştirmek zorunda olmamız ve bunun için birbirinin aynısı sıkıcı yan görevleri yapmak zorunda olmamız son derece olumsuz.

    Bir oyunda loot o kadar önemli değil. Ama loot'u veya craft'ı çok önemsemiyorsanız Metro gibi gerilimi ya da Dying Light gibi combat keyfini üst düzey yapmalısınız. Ya da görev dizaynı o kadar başarılı olmalı ki combat sıkıcı da olsa sonundaki hikaye ilerleyişi için oynamaya devam etmelisiniz. Days Gone'ın yan görevlerinde hem combat sıkıcı, hem de görevin sonunda bir loot düşmüyor ya da tüm bunları yapmanız için hikayede iyi bir motivasyon vermiyor. Açık dünya yapıyorsanız, birbirinin aynısı outpost ele geçirme görevleri yaptırıyorsanız, hikayeye bunları yediremiyorsanız, dövüş eğlenceli olmalı ve sonunda iyi bir silah çıkmalı. Tıpkı Assassin's Creed Odyssey gibi.

    Combat bayıcı olsa da vuruş hissi yerinde. Menzilli ve yakın mesafe silahlarında vurduğunuzu ve silahların farklılığını hissediyorsunuz. İsabet alan karakterin beden animasyonları iyi.

    Motorun özelleştirmelerini ve geliştirmelerini beğendim. Benzin kapasitesinin artması özellikle hızlı seyahat mesafesini çok etkiliyor. Benzin bulmaya çalışmak, bulması çok kolay bulunduğu için biraz gereksiz durmuş. Bunun yerine daha ender benzin bulabilsek ama aracımıza yedek benzin bidonu falan asabilsek, çatışmada mermi isabet edince patlasa falan daha gerçekçi olurmuş. Benzini doldurup, daha içinde litrelerce benzin olan bidonu bu yoklukta arkamızda bırakmak biraz saçma görünüyor.

    Oyunun açık dünyasında dolaşmak da o kadar keyifli değil. Sürpriz unsuru çok az, şuraya da gideyim belki bir hikaye ya da bir silah vardır hissi hiç yok. Bölgeyi temizlemediyseniz bir yerden bir yere gitmek çok zor ki bu en azından oyunun atmosferini veriyor. Hızlı seyahat için güzergahınız üzerindeki enfekte alanları temizlemiş olmanız gerekiyor. Bu da en azından işe yarar bir motivasyon kaynağı.

    Oyundaki düşman çeşitliliği de bir zombi oyununa göre çok az. Bazı hayvanların yanında sadece bir iki çeşit zombi var. Ancak horde meselesini ben ilk kez görüyorum. Onlarla karşılaşmak epey gerici ve zorluydu. Sanırım horde, oyunun oyun dünyasına kattığı tek yenilik.

    Oyunun görev dizaynı da bir garip. Özellikle ikinci bölgeye geçene kadar ne ana görev ne yan görev çok belli değil. Haritada bir görev beliriyor gidip yapıyorsunuz işte. Hangilerinin çok da elzem olmadığı öğrenmem ve direkt ana görevlerden yardırmam epey vaktimi aldı.

    Oyunun hikayesini ve karakterleri sevdim. Kampların ve liderlerinin kendilerine özgü kişilikleri olması, iyi ve kötü yanlarının, güçlü yanlarının ve zayıflıklarının olması, iç çekişmelerle uğraşmaları hikayeyi gerçekçi kılmış. Bu açıdan bana Fallout New Vegas'ı anımsattı. Keşke onun gibi rpg olsaymış dedim çoğu yerde. Yanımızdaki arkadaşlarımızın kişilikleri ve kendileriyle yaşadıkları çekişmeler de gayet başarılı işlenmiş. Ve oyunun asıl hedefi olan Sarah'ı bulmak, onu bulma amacının başlaması, bulduktan sonra yaşanan gerilim ve yeniden kavuşma da duygusaldı. Bu açıdan klişe ama iyi işlenen bir hikayeydi.

    Özetle hikaye ve atmosfer olarak fena olmayan, oynanış çeşitliliği ve keyfi açısından biraz sınıfta kalan, açık dünyanın avantajlarını kullanamayan bir oyun olmuş. İkincisi çıkacak gibi bitti. Yenisi gelirse umarım bunda yapamadıkları şeyleri becerirler ve çok daha keyifli bir oyun olur.    … Expand

    Good game and fairly priced seeing the graphics upgrade. My complains is the fps fluctuations (specially when riding the bike), the lack of enemy variety and the minimal bike customization. It's greatest strength is the story and acting in combination with a tight gameplay mechanic that prefers head-on action. I really hope for a sequel and I would pay full price.

    The gameplay is solid, it kinda reminds me of the Last Of Us, and I feel that the developers were inspired by that game, and so they gave us Days Gone.

    The guns feel great to use, melee combat feels amazing, and as I said graphically it is truly a stunning masterpiece, as is the atmosphere but more on that later.

    The stealth mechanic, could use some extra work. Enemies seem to act somewhat irrational when it comes to the stealth route because, sometimes, they see you coming from miles away where as other times they don't see you at all.

    Which was kinda upsetting to me. Also the silencers you can put on your guns, last a very short time, way too short if you ask me. Luckily we can download mods for that, more on that later too!

    The story, without spoiling anything, is kinda disappointing.
    Certain ''things'' happen in the story that is just plain pathetic.
    It basically made me feel like a babysitting adult, you'll understand why when you play it yourself.

    So the story is okay at first, but then it started making some turns that were just really weird and sometimes even annoying.

    The crafting system is alright but it is also pretty basic, and those crafting items you find in the world, seem to be just respawning. So there's no real in-depth in the crafting system and you will not feel like you truly have to survive.

    Deacon the main protagonist, is an annoying loud mouth, and has the mental age of a borderline child. Sometimes he randomnly shouts or just acts extremely childish.

    But the atmosphere and gameplay totally makes up for that, the entire game is huge, and with huge I mean really huge, I think it can take around 60 to 70 hours to complete. Maybe even longer.

    The atmosphere is what makes me keep coming back and play this, the audio is fantastic. The game can turn pretty creepy/scary too when you're playing at nighttime.

    Situations can occur that can change the entire plan you had in your mind about approaching enemies. The motorcycle feels great to handle, and is heavy, it is really there, it has weight to it. And the upgradable parts are a very nice touch as well.

    Hordes are mind blowing to see and are very intimidating. They can be hard to deal with.
    But make you feel extremely immersed.

    If the story was not so mediocre this game would've been easily a 10 for me, but I am giving it a 7 because the story is just really bad. Though others feel the story improves in the second half of the game. I didn't feel like that at all.

    However before playing this I do wanna recommend to play with some mods just to improve the game in overall.

    For starters, I would recommend a longer lasting silencer mod, a bigger hordes mod, and a reshade. This will bring Days Gone really to the spot.

I love challanges, but this is just some weird balance, especially when he tends to stuck and not interact properly with the surroundings as it designed to be played. Result - you are surrounded and killed by zombie horde. The decent and highly responsible 3rd person game play is Watch Dogs 1 made back in 2014 (!).

    In general, I find the game quite interesting, it's fun and although it is repetitive at certain times, I think that in general the total concept of the game is quite acceptable, interesting story, quite interesting characters. The story is a bit predictable but not always, what I do miss is the absence of a strong villain.

    In my opinion it is a game 7 out of 10.

    Really good zombie related game can see that walking dead was a huge influence on the story and setting and that the game plays side missions really crafted like farcry 3. Very good game and underrated if you like resident evil or red dead redemption you will like this game.

    Эта игра могла стать одной из самых выдающихся игр в сеттинге апокалипсиса, но, имхо, не стала, неплохая история, очень приятная графика, музыка, которая неплохо дополняет действие и в целом приятный игровой процесс, но, всё это не выстраивается в игру-легенду, от которой захватывает дух и которая западает в душу, и тому есть, имхо, несколько причин. Игра слишком лёгкая, даже не уровне выживание 2, всё, начиная от патронов и заканчивая ингредиентами даётся слишком легко, тупой ИИ врагов, который не доставляет тебе практически никаких проблем, стелс, который сделан с нарушением всякой логики происходящего, ты можешь двигаться рядом с врагом а он не будет тебя видеть, ты убиваешь одного врага, а другие продолжают заниматься своим делом не замечая смерти своего товарища хотя тот находился в зоне их видимости, постоянные реплики самого героя озвученные невпопад и по любому мало мальскому событию, порой хочется, чтобы он просто молчал и не мешал играть, однотипные, повторяющиеся (почему в игре с таким бюджетом нельзя было записать сотни разных рассказов, обращений, приветствий и т.д., чтобы мир чувствовался более реалистичным и живым, непонятно) и опять же невпопад произнесённые реплики НПС. Всё это просто убивает атмосферу игры и не даёт по полной насладится, очень, очень, очень неплохо придуманным миром, а жаль, чертовски жаль. И всё же, игра достойная, но как же хотелось, чтобы она стала легендой ……, но увы ……

    I'm so glad I didn't play much of Days Gone on the PS4. The PC version is amazing. The game has been optimised extremely well and will run even on medium powered PCs. The story and world is intriguing and interesting, and the characters are fleshed out and real.

    This game is definitely worth your time.

I honestly wasn't expecting much but I can honestly say with 20 years of gaming under my belt this is one of the best games I've ever played and thats with the likes of the God of War reboot, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2, The Last of Us (not the sequel), etc forDays Gone for PC is by far the best way to play with none of the PS4 limitations hamstringing it. I honestly wasn't expecting much but I can honestly say with 20 years of gaming under my belt this is one of the best games I've ever played and thats with the likes of the God of War reboot, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2, The Last of Us (not the sequel), etc for company.

    Story, Missions & Characters:
    Most notably the story is extremely good for those of you actually willing to listen to it, the side missions also tie into the main story in a limited way as well which is very pleasing to see devs on a limited budget attempt such things, voice acting is top notch as well and without saying too much there are certain characters you will want to do well for. Outside of the main story you can augment it by finding and listening to "NERO" recordings scattered in the world and at NERO outposts, theres a lot to like here. The only thing I'd say about side missions is that while they also fed some interesting story elements the missions themselves felt a little too much like busy work too often for my liking I'd rather have seen fewer side content missions that were more well structured to tie into the story more. Characters in the game are also all very good, one or two did feel a little under developed with no way of intereacting with them and getting to know them better outside of the missions and cutscenes.The one cardinal sin Bend have made though is that the puppy you end up getting for another character you can give toys to and hear the lil puppy play with his squeaky toy but you can't play or pet the puppy! Bad Bend, bad!

    Gameplay:
    Gameplay is fun with a slight twist on ideas it borrows from other games. Horde hunting is great presenting you with multiple ways to do them, the stealth mechanics are functional but a little basic with one of the most devastating stealth weapons being... a rock. Said rock has a very wide area you can lure hapless NPCs to their demise and as you level up even use the rock to stun weaker enemies which is a pretty awesome twist on the humble rock, just tone down that hear distance for it Bend in a Days Gone sequel so its not so OP ;o) Game mechanics are also quite simple but also surprisingly in-depth where needed, such as how you accomplish your goal. You can wade in through the front door guns blazing, look for a back entrance, use stealth and misdirection or just set up traps and watch with glee as they do the dirty work for you. The only bad thing really with the gameplay is how often you'll get murked while riding on your bike, the mechanic itself is a cool idea, but the game past a certain point just tries it too often in the end and it gets a bit annoying. The trade system in the game is also basic but functional however it would have made sense to be able to buy some components in limited quantities to make things with.

    One of the stand out things about Days Gone is your motorbike, theres a lot of customisation you can do to it and the changes you make really do impact things like handling I would have liked to see more done here, such as more options for handlebars, the seat, and fenders

    Stability & Bugs:
    During my playthrough I had and saw a fair few bugs ranging from things getting stuck in the game world to dodgy physics and spawning issues. None of these things are particularly detrimental nor do they really take away from the enjoyment but I experienced enough to be able to easily tell the game could perhaps do with another patch to iron some more of the bugs out. I did not encounter any serious bugs and the bugs I did experience or see were funny rather than game breaking.

    Weapons:
    Weapons in Days Gone are good covering any job you might need to get done I settled on a combination of "Lil Stubby" and an assault rifle with my special weapon being a crossbow or silenced sniper rifle. The only time this changed is when I went horde hunting and switched my sniper rifle for an LMG. Throwable weapons are a good mix too including the likes of pipe bombs, grenades, molotovs, etc and the game even has things like land mines, sticky bombs, and remote control bombs to really cause some havock.

    In closing there is far more to like here than not to but unless I simply missed them or am the victim unbeknown to me of some bugs there are some things in the game that you seemingly can't craft like the land mines I only found a handful of them during my entire playthrough.

    How Days Gone does not yet have a sequel announced boggles the mind while The Last of Us has been greenlit for a remake which will make it a THIRD time retreading old ground. I want a Days Gone 2.    … Expand

    Graphics: I love the graphical settings in the start menu. More games need to do this. There are sliders for pretty much everything including fov, and they all change in real time. It's great, I love it. At max setting everything looks crisp and clean. Although not the pinnacle of graphic design, it does enough to keep you immersed in the world.

    Sound: it's fine.

    UI: Like I stated in the graphics tab the UI is generally easy to use. My only problem was the finicky weapon wheel. Crafting from the weapon wheel can be annoying thanks to the sub menu per item. If you are using a controller it can be difficult to keep the joystick on the object you are trying to craft. Not a big deal just a tad frustrating sometimes.

    Combat: Quite smooth really. At first I thought the gunplay was kinda crap but that was only because I didn't put many skill points in but once i did it got a little more enjoyable, especially with the focus shot (pretty much bullet time).

    The World: Very beautiful. The rolling hills and lush forests of Oregon comes across as a beautiful backdrop for a Zombie outbreak. I know I know, they are freakers, but come on....

    Characters: Though not on the same level as say Mass Effect, Days Gone still boasts a cast of interesting individuals as well as a protagonist that checks all the right boxes but might come across as a little disingenuous sometimes, and angry all the time (but that was kind of the point i think)

    Gameplay: Where the game shines imo. Upgrading your bike and earning credits from each camp has a nice loop to it. I found myself constantly getting sidetracked to be able to afford better weapons and parts for my bike as well as leveling up Deacon St. John (the protagonist) as often as I could.

    All in all a great game to get lost in, especially if your like me. Don't get me wrong, Mass Effect is probably my favorite series ever but I picked this game over The ME Remasters because I haven't already played Days Gone 6,467 times yet. :-)    … Expand

    A fantastic port of a huge game. The story is a great bit of storytelling and some engrossing characters, with many flaws, but just surviving in a tough world. The gameplay can be tough and a bit of a slog, but this shows the hard life, post-outbreak, that the people have, searching for supplies and fighting the zombies and other humans for those, and the extremes that you and others go toA fantastic port of a huge game.     One of the best open world games I've played. Deserves way more recognition.

    It's similar to Horizon Zero Dawn, another exceptional open world rpg.

    Days Gone is basically the best zombie game I ever played, it feels like it takes elements from
    - Horizon Zero Dawn
    - Mad Max
    - Far Cry
    Puts it in a blender and hit the pure A switch.

    Get this game! You won't be disappointed.

    There are no many games like days gone in the game world, days gone is sandbox and the same days gone is great storyline, pretty good gameplay, the game has room to grow and it is so sad, because continuation will never happen.. P.s. if someday it will happen, i will be ready to buy it for full price.

    I never got a chance to play days gone on the PS4 but picked it up for PC and boy im glad i did, this genre is oversaturated however the guys at bend have done an excellent job here. The Gameplay is fun and addictive, many a night i have stayed up late playing this title, just one more mission just one more nest and before i know it the sun is up, DG has a very addictive gameplay loop asI never got a chance to play days gone on the PS4 but picked it up for PC and boy im glad i did, this genre is oversaturated however the guys at bend have done an excellent job here.     It’s not too common to see Unreal Engine 4 doing big open worlds without major performance or optimization issues, but Days Gone manages to present a decently sized world, with nice looking graphics and environments, and it runs pretty well.

    Mouse input feels good enough, no issues for me, despite some people experiencing some issues with a small “mouse deadzone”, I play at 1600 DPI and 0.12 in game sensitivity, and had zero issues aiming my headshots.

    Keybinds are very customizable and left handed friendly (I'm lefty and I can use arrow keys, and all the keys nearby, including Numpad keys). There's also a "walk" toggle key, which so many games lack these days, and we can make sprint and aim either hold or toggle, also very good. There's also the option to change QTEs from quick tap to hold, also a welcome feature for keyboard users.

    Performance is great on my Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 3060 Ti, even at 150% Scale, Very High Settings, getting like 70-80 FPS, and no particular stutters so far that I have noticed. The in game frame-rate limiter isn't the greatest, that's a common thing to see in games, but Rivatuner or NV Control Panel can improve that, in case you want to set an FPS cap.

    I have read (and seen) that the resolution scale the game uses can actually degrade image quality the higher we go, so I ended up switching to 1620 DSR downsampling.

    I could also notice some ghosting / trails on the motorcycle’s wheels, due to TAA probably, but it’s not too distracting. Probably something to look into for a future patch, for sure.

    The characters are well animated and only in rare occasions I noticed some awkwardness in certain cutscenes; overall, they did a decent job with this, I reckon. Their models are quite detailed too, with nice textures and skin shading, and even a nice sweat effect on them, or also used when they bleed or it’s raining, very nice indeed.

    Speaking of characters, I liked most of them except the ones that were supposed to be hated for obvious reasons.
    Witwer’s performance as Deacon was nice, probably resembling him a bit too much at times, haha, obviously since they scanned his face and all, but it’s just him, his mannerisms and all, I thought it was funny to see him so accurately in the game.

    The story I also liked it, even though this is a theme very used in other games, especially in “zombie” games, but I think the game dealt with the matter quite well.
    By the end of the game I felt quite a lot was accomplished by the main character and his allies, but of course we all know this game has a, somewhat, open ending and yeah I could pretty much see a sequel here, there’s enough material and, honestly, it’d be a shame if this world and game do not get a proper sequel, I do understand now how all the console players who’ve been asking for a sequel feel, it's not a bad game, really, it's not the greatest of all time, but it's not bad either, it's enjoyable.

    All in all, don’t want to extend this review too much, I enjoyed the game quite a lot, the motorcycle is awesome, handles pretty damn well with keyboard and mouse, honestly, way better than in most games, where normally a controller is preferred, but here it was exceptionally good with the keyboard, a good amount of inertia and weight to it, so it felt just right.

    Compared to Horizon Zero Dawn, which had a disastrous PC launch, with many issues and crashes for a huge part of the player base, Days Gone’s release has been amazingly smooth so…good job, Bend Studio, this is how you launch on PC a port from a console game.    … Expand

Сюжет вроде есть и не плохой, но местами некоторые квесты сводятся к поездке через пол карты, чтобы наш персонаж спросил - как ты? и получил в ответ - я занят! = квест завершен, но в целом местами очень не плох и логичен, когда обсуждается почему наступил апокалипсис и как избавиться от орд зомби (да в игре зомбарей называют фриками, но я в реале на улице встречал фриков, поэтому язык не повернется назвать зомби так, к зомби больше тогда подойдет любой синоним слова красавчик).

    Вызывает вопрос сомнительный уровень сложности ВЫЖИВАНИЕ II, который не отличается ни количеством зомби, ни их уроном, ни лутом от СЛОЖНО II, а усложняется только отсутствием интерфейса - мы не сможем узнать присмерти ли мы с 10 единицами жизней или у нас максимум здоровья - персонаж никак не реагирует на это и не стонет ни хромает ни истекает кровью, а если присесть и выбрать метательное оружие, то из-за расположения камеры не будет видно, что мы держим в руках, как говорится метнёшь узнаешь, про колесо выбора оружия молчу - тыкаешь одно, выбирается другое - это как играть за компом стоя на одной ноге - сложность не увеличивается, только дискомфорт появляется.

    Как итог - игра понравилась за счет хорошей механики, сюжет не вызывает негатива, стрелять не надоедает, а музыка подчеркивает атмосферу!    … Expand

    Price at this moment is $50, well worth it as the Campaign length alone is damn near 20 to 30 hours and that's not including taking down the 40 extra hordes laying around the wasteland.

    Drawbacks: Your Typical Zombie game always includes the following, Annoying Fetch Quests, Save this person from this outpost. You basically do a few of these before actual story missions. It's your typical zombie game, outpost take downs, people being tied up, being ambushed for no reason,

    Great game, Great story, Mind numbing side missions, fetch quests.

    This game is amazing. Riveting story, very good gameplay, beautiful graphics, technically polished, huge open world, lovable characters - all of these make this game a masterpiece. I'm an old gamer, I saw a lot and I played a lot, but this game stands out for me. It found a place in my heart and my memory. Thanks Sony, thanks devs. It was a thrilling ride!

    definitely worth playing! Astonishing graphics, gameplay similar to Last of us. No lags no freeze at all (went ideally at GTX 1070 TI) which cannot be said about other 2021 year games. In summary, my score is at least 8.0 because open world looks less empty than fulfilled. Anyway, that's nice game. Gotta wait for your other projects

    Great port of a great title. Zombie games are all around us, but Bend Studio managed to squeeze every last drop out of this worn out setting. Everything is well-designed and polished in Days Gone – the believable world and characters in it, the distinct post-apocalyptic aura, the crafting, the thrilling combat and spectacular encounters with bloodthirsty hordes. In addition, this version is well-optimized and runs smoothly on a mid-range PC. [08/2021, p.48]

    The PC version of Days Gone manages to be a superior experience. More polished and better performing than the original on PS4. It doesn't escape its sins however – a story with an uneven pace associated with repetitive and sometimes unnecessary mechanics. The game would benefit if some mechanics were simplified, but it is still a very solid option for those who like open worlds, motorcycles and zombies.

    For my money, Days Gone remains one of the absolute best open-world games on the market, and now more people will have the opportunity to try it out for themselves as it puts its best foot forward. That’s something worth celebrating, I think.
