    This game is an absolute masterpiece in my eyes it is extremely buggy but i can not hope enough that they make a series for this the story telling and layering of content is impeccable

    Playing right now, on PC. What a sleeper hit this is, one of the best story driven games i have ever played, love the character building. Love the RPG aspects of it.

    I guess it was underrated by Sony fanboys, because you actually have to play this game and can't just watch endless cutscenes. Days Gone is one of the best open world zombie games and 100% deserves to get a sequel.

Русская озвучка великолепна! Не заметил как пролетели 7 часов. Сюжет интригует, такое дорожное приключение на байкахОПТИМИЗАЦИЯ. Разработчики просто боги оптимизации.     This game is better than Resident Evil Village+Cyberpunk+Gears 5+Outriders all together and any other recent game having been released for pc in the last few months. Sony did an impressive job, the game is very polished, nothing is left to negligence, greatly optimised, fun to play and engaging. We want more games like this in the future!

    I really don't understand why this game got bad reviews on the so-called mainstream gaming critics side.

    Either they didn't play it for more than 2 hours or they are blasting it because its the complete opposite to woke however there is one lesbian relationship going on in this story but clearly that wasn't enough to appease the PC Critics.     Maybe it's because the game is not easy. The journey to the story is not that difficult but the after end game is and its because most people, when they reach the end of the main story, will realise that the two hordes they took out in the main game was just 10% of what is really out there and they are BIG!

    Also one great aspect of this game is that no matter how much money you have you can only use it to upgrade your bike, guns and other military equipment but when it comes to Molotovs and other toys like proximity bombs (and trust me you will need lots of molotovs against hordes) you still need to scavenge for material like Scrap, Rags and Kerosene which adds to this games realism aspect. After all why would you scavenge at all if all you needed to do was go to a Camp and get everything you need? Well in this game its scavenge or die under equipped essentially.

    When I play a game past 30 hours and still want to play it for me that's when it becomes something great and we've not had a game like that for a long time. Sure there are Ubisoft games but did you ever feel the need to go on after the story had ended or kept going just to get the story done?

    Well with Days Gone you'll actually want to push on and when the main story is done you'll want to continue. That's the difference and how this got a bad review from all the critics again is a mystery.

    The Graphics are some of the best you will see as well as the weather effects that actually turn summer landscapes into winter ones as well as those people in it who all get covered in snow along with the Roads and Buildings! I don't think i've seen that level of detail before. RDR2 had Snow levels but not places that started out as normal but ended up as winter locations which can then switch back depending on the weather.

    TL:DR: Don't listen to the critics. It's clear they are no longer reviewing games for their gaming qualities. Days Gone is a winner and in a genre that was considered saturated thanks to 10 seasons of Walking Dead lol. You won't regret buying this.

    BTW you may have a slight issue with stuttering on loading a save game. Just do a 360 pan of the world (takes about 5 seconds) and the stuttering should be gone :)    … Expand

    This is one of the best games i have ever played. I am happy that this was released on PC. If not i would not played it.
    Everything good but i somehow allways expected the bigger better part of the "map" but it never came. It got smaller and smaller (the last area where you are).

    Made me cry multiple times with the incredible writing and characters. Playing on steam is the best experience, graphics are insane. If you like open world zombie RPGS and have a good computer buy this right now and thank me later. How this got such bad reviews is beyond me. I am 60    Amazing game.     Best weather effects since RDR2. This game looks phenomenal maxed out. I have seen some people complaining that fuel goes out too fast. I completely disagree. That's one of the best survival elements this game has and it's unique. By the way, if you look for them, you can find fuel cans all over the place, i never ran out of them… Expand

I like realistic elements in this game, as you can take gas for your bike from actual stations, also bike upgrades are cool. Story is interesting enough, some side missions feel kind of meh, but overall nice story, way better than Dying Light 1/2. I'm pretty sure, if this gameVery enjoyable open world zombie game, lots of stuff to explore and fight or just simply enjoy the ride on bike.     Originally platinumed on the PS4, I bought it again on PC couple years later.

    One of my all time favorite apocalyptic zombie games to date.

    It's got everything, weapons, bikes, hordes, a good story, a skill tree, stealth, bike upgrades, romance, jealousy, resentment, backstabbing, heartache, happiness, humor.

    A must must buy! You have to play it at least once.

The world is vast and rich, the characters are flawed but I found them likable, and the gameplay, especially horde combat, is fluid and interesting. The story is strong and keep you interested, the characters keep delivering and the story is the perfect blend of morally gray choices where it keeps you wondering if the thing you just did was okay or not. The motorcycle is a wonderful way to move around and you keep avoiding to use the quick travel . The zombies keep itDays gone is one of those games that just keep on giving.     Special Pro: I ended the main story, I still come back to this game, as sometimes I do with GTA V - to explore, kill zombies, and make new strategies to kill more zombies - it's fun and enjoyable! It is definitely the type of game that makes you enjoy gaming again and makes you calmer after a rough day. Due to this reason alone, it's my top 3 games

    -Sometimes, just decent facial animations
    -Cliche start of a story, that eventually catches up and becomes a PRO

    I have no idea how this game received such "bad" reviews. This is one of the best open world action game on the market. Much better than other Sony games like Horizon games. And much better than Ubisoft boring games. Great atmosphere, great map, good characters and story with very likeable main protagonist and good missions and side content. Also PC port is great.

    This is one of the best games I've ever played, very underrated by critics for some reason.

    The atmosphere, the gameplay and the story of this game are all at very high level.

    PC version of the game is very good optimized and I could play it on high settings in 60 fps on old GTX970 card with i7 CPU and the game has very good graphics.

    This game is one of 5 my favourite games of all times.

    One of the few very best games out there, so glad a PC version was released, everything is gorgeous, story, gameplay, mechanics, everything is if not perfect, almost perfect, voice acting is so good at times it doesn't even seems the sequences are scripted, lots of activities of any kind to be done in this world, like a true survivor. I long awaited a game like this and I'm prettyOne of the few very best games out there, so glad a PC version was released, everything is gorgeous, story, gameplay, mechanics, everything is if not perfect, almost perfect, voice acting is so good at times it doesn't even seems the sequences are scripted, lots of activities of any kind to be done in this world, like a true survivor. I long awaited a game like this and I'm pretty disappointed Sony will not make a sequel... 50+ hours into this game and still a lot of activities and fun to have, watching zombies dyeing on fire with all those gorgeous effects it's next level.
    AI are also pretty smart, they would form small groups at first and then become larger and larger until a horde is formed, this game have it all and definitely deserves 10/10    … Expand

    Great PC Port! Very well optimized for PC, no major bugs/glitches. Also, the game is amazing. Graphics are breathtaking, the hordes are absolutely terrifying, and the story is also very engaging even though it is not perfect. The characters are very interesting and likeable, specially the protagonist Deacon St. John (Cool name, btw!). Sam Witwer did a great job of voicing Deacon. TheGreat PC Port! Very well optimized for PC, no major bugs/glitches. Also, the game is amazing. Graphics are breathtaking, the hordes are absolutely terrifying, and the story is also very engaging even though it is not perfect. The characters are very interesting and likeable, specially the protagonist Deacon St. John (Cool name, btw!). Sam Witwer did a great job of voicing Deacon. The gameplay is nothing new or innovative but since when did that become a criteria for enjoyable gameplay? The mechanics have been implemented very well; finding resources and fuel/parts for bike results in a solid survival experience and fighting zombies (and humans!) is a lot of fun. Highly underrated game. The game deserves a much better than a Metacritic score of 78. It's a hidden gem and a must-buy for fans of zombies and open world games. The game deserves a sequel. Please buy the game at full price on PC (it is worth every penny spent; you won't regret it, the game offers 60+ hours of gameplay) to show your support to the developers and increase the chances of getting a sequel to this fantastic game. And please sign and support the Days Gone 2 petition on Change.org so that Bend Studios get the chance they deserve.… Expand

    Days Gone is hands-down best open-world zombie game i have ever played...or could play. Because this game is pretty much one of a kind. There aren't open-world zombie games like this. Ones where you have huge world to explore, places to go inside, hordes, day-night time, lots of weapons, BIKE, long and pretty cool story.     Don't listen to the so-called professional critics that are giving low scores like 5 or 6 the game is far better what they say. Only problem for me is that it lacks mission variety most secondary missions feel the same, but the main story is very well done

    The most UNDERRATED game of the last 5 years atleast. The game has a great story, great length, great amount of stuff to do and most importantly NOT POLTICALLY CORRECT. It's just an enjoyable, challenging, stealth, action, motorcycle driving, fun game.

    Oh, and there's a ton of super fast, crazy zombies in it. A must play for action game lovers.

    Just finished this game today and have to say it's been a blast. Good story, good fun, good characters and more than a nod to the MC sub culture. Skipped some of the horde sections as found them a bit too demanding, but overall a very enjoyable experience.

    Great game, looking very nice. Not a 10 but not a 6 or below either. 7 or 8 seems accurate.

    Story is somewhat interesting.

    Not much of a zombie games fan when it's not COOP. But i'm enjoying the game.

    Runs smooth and looks good.

    The story isn't incredible but the game as some of the best writing and dialogues out there. Every character in this game is believable. Every dialogues is full of life and the actors who plays deacon should be praised as much as Roger Clark.

    The gunplay is more than good enough, it actually it feels like red dead, so if you didn't liked the gameplay of red dead 2 you will not like the gameplay of days gone.

    I didn't had any bugs in the game and i finished it at 100%, not a single crash, no issues at all.

    This game is as good as any other triple a if not better. This game blew me away and was the best experience i had in a game since red dead. Cyberpunk was trash, death stranding was really good but the gameplay was painful.

    Really amazing game, one of my favorite of all time! Had some struggle with the controls, but it's really a masterpiece.Graphics, story, voice, quests, side quest, cut scenes, everything is really well made! Also liked it more than Dying Light, which was also good but not as good as this masterpiece!

    Amazing game. Cliche story, but very well written! Excellent gameplay, music and combat. Beautiful graphics. I love the characters and the horde fights are fun and thrilling.

    I think the only significant downside, for me personally, is that I found some story segments did drag on a tad too long at times...

    Great game 9/10!

    Muy buen juego en general, la mayor pega es una duración larga si vas a todo y no solo la historia principal.

    La duración y el poder mejorar habilidades, armas etc... hace que la dificultad vaya en un gran descenso permanente, sería su segundo punto a criticar.

    Por lo demás notable o bien en casi todos los aspectos.

But story is sometimes really cheap! Especially the ending... It was terrible! Final chapter was really good but ending - terrible. Characters are really good written. I had no hitches throughout my playthrough and was often in awe of the lighting effects, dynamic weather, and overall extreme attention to detail.

    Gameplay:
    Diverse and fun. Centered around combat, Days Gone gives you the freedom to approach these situations how you choose. The spectrum between stealth and head on combat is wide, and all options are suspenseful, adaptive, and, above all, extremely fun. Whether via melee or ranged weapons, the impacts are truly felt. Bend Studios has managed to make the best punchy and weighty feeling combat that I've ever played. Not only that, but by the diversity of how you approach situations, the game has immense replay value.

    Story:
    I do not understand the criticisms of this game's story. I was completely attached to the characters, and I found the underlying themes, especially those related to Deacon's character development, very impactful. The cinematics and acting therein had me on the edge of my seat. Extremely compelling story / characters.

    Critiques:
    On it's own, Days Gone is in my books, a game that should be in everyone's collection. It actually saddens me that I doubt this game will be considered a mainstream classic. However, if I suppose a Days Gone 2 were to be made, there are some quality of life improvements for the gameplay that could be made. Here are some which account for why I didn't give this game a perfect score:

    1) More dynamic inventory system, especially in consideration to what you can store on your motorcycle (wish I could store crafting supplies).
    2) Add crafting ingredient merchants, or just make more things purchasable
    3) Remove radio chatter during combat
    4) Allow side quests to be radio communicated to you, rather than making you travel back to the quest giver to receive the quest.
    5) Remove any quest that forces you to walk with a NPC and have a conversation. I hate that. I don't understand why it wouldn't just be a cutscene.    … Expand

    Played it on Ps5 after the patch...and this game is absolutely amazing .
    I liked the characters and story .
    The world is beautiful , dynamic wheather is fantastic and exploration is fun.Riding the bike is enjoyable and gunplay is very good. There is a lot of difficulty options for hardcore players.
    Challenges are fun , it feels so good to shoot hundreds of zombies in the face :)

    So far Days Gone is most fun i have had with video game in 2021. Feels good to finally have all the games that i like on PC. I also like Spider-Man (2018), but i feel like it wouldn't fit well for PC, because that's one game that you really need to play with controller, but one of the strong points of PC has always been keyboard+mouse, so it wouldn't make that much difference.

    Definitely a must play. The game is an underrated gem.

    Sure it starts slow, but when it gains momentum, it'll only have you wanting more. The gameplay is tight and will have you hooked for hours. Certainly one the best games I've played this year.

    It might not have had the success it deserved in PS4 but in PC it shines brighter than a diamond.

    I Played a lot of games in my life, in this 22 years a very small part of this games get into my heart. Day's Gone is one of them. Beautiful story with some funny bugs on the PC version.

    Deacon need to continue his journey, I need to continue the journey with him, so sad to hear that **** Sony Game Studios stop to believe in this project. Hate Sony a lot but thanks for this lovely game.

    Great port of a great title. Zombie games are all around us, but Bend Studio managed to squeeze every last drop out of this worn out setting. Everything is well-designed and polished in Days Gone – the believable world and characters in it, the distinct post-apocalyptic aura, the crafting, the thrilling combat and spectacular encounters with bloodthirsty hordes. In addition, this version is well-optimized and runs smoothly on a mid-range PC. [08/2021, p.48]

    The PC version of Days Gone manages to be a superior experience. More polished and better performing than the original on PS4. It doesn't escape its sins however – a story with an uneven pace associated with repetitive and sometimes unnecessary mechanics. The game would benefit if some mechanics were simplified, but it is still a very solid option for those who like open worlds, motorcycles and zombies.
