    The best game I've ever played about zombies/freakers. The story, the gameplay and the soundtrack awesome. There are some repetitive missions but whatever.

    Days Gone is a fantastic addictive game with good characters and story. The gameplay, animations, gunplay, graphics and bike riding are amazing. I put off buying this for over a year, not sure if I would like it. This game immersed me for weeks and hundreds of hours and it was completely unexpected how much I would love this game. Virtually all the tech issues in the PS4 version are fixedDays Gone is a fantastic addictive game with good characters and story.     Originally platinumed on the PS4, I bought it again on PC couple years later.

    One of my all time favorite apocalyptic zombie games to date.

    It's got everything, weapons, bikes, hordes, a good story, a skill tree, stealth, bike upgrades, romance, jealousy, resentment, backstabbing, heartache, happiness, humor.

    A must must buy! You have to play it at least once.

    Very good game! For sure it has some flaws, but overall the open world gameplay fits well with the story and side activities. Its a shame that no sequel will follow. For me its one of the best zombie-themed titles available!

    An underrated diamond in the rough, I do not see why it isn't as highly regarded as Sony's other works. The world is vast and rich, the characters are flawed but I found them likable, and the gameplay, especially horde combat, is fluid and interesting. The only reason this isn't a perfect 10 for me is because some bugs I experienced on the PC version which forced me to restart the game aAn underrated diamond in the rough, I do not see why it isn't as highly regarded as Sony's other works.     I Played a lot of games in my life, in this 22 years a very small part of this games get into my heart. Day's Gone is one of them. Beautiful story with some funny bugs on the PC version.

    Deacon need to continue his journey, I need to continue the journey with him, so sad to hear that **** Sony Game Studios stop to believe in this project. Hate Sony a lot but thanks for this lovely game.

    Days gone is one of those games that just keep on giving. The story is strong and keep you interested, the characters keep delivering and the story is the perfect blend of morally gray choices where it keeps you wondering if the thing you just did was okay or not. The motorcycle is a wonderful way to move around and you keep avoiding to use the quick travel . The zombies keep itDays gone is one of those games that just keep on giving.     I'm truly disappointed. Disappointed with Sony's attitude about this game. Days Gone is an AMAZING game. It deserves sequel and i really hope someday Sony will finally understand that this game is not just average. For me this game is not perfect, it has problems, but i strongly recommend everyone to try it out, for me this one is a masterpiece!

    I have no idea how this game received such "bad" reviews. This is one of the best open world action game on the market. Much better than other Sony games like Horizon games. And much better than Ubisoft boring games. Great atmosphere, great map, good characters and story with very likeable main protagonist and good missions and side content. Also PC port is great.

    Really solid Open-World Zombie game. There's hardly any similar games, that could compete. I personally didn't care for Dying Light, but they are pretty different games anyway. Now i'm just waiting for Sony to announce Days Gone 2, because there's no way, they would throw away this gem.

    The PC version of Days Gone is just as good as the PS4 version, with great performance, top notch features, a great launch, and overall a fantastic PC port for an underrated PS4 exclusive.

    Really good zombie related game can see that walking dead was a huge influence on the story and setting and that the game plays side missions really crafted like farcry 3. Very good game and underrated if you like resident evil or red dead redemption you will like this game.

    Эта игра могла стать одной из самых выдающихся игр в сеттинге апокалипсиса, но, имхо, не стала, неплохая история, очень приятная графика, музыка, которая неплохо дополняет действие и в целом приятный игровой процесс, но, всё это не выстраивается в игру-легенду, от которой захватывает дух и которая западает в душу, и тому есть, имхо, несколько причин. Игра слишком лёгкая, даже не уровне выживание 2, всё, начиная от патронов и заканчивая ингредиентами даётся слишком легко, тупой ИИ врагов, который не доставляет тебе практически никаких проблем, стелс, который сделан с нарушением всякой логики происходящего, ты можешь двигаться рядом с врагом а он не будет тебя видеть, ты убиваешь одного врага, а другие продолжают заниматься своим делом не замечая смерти своего товарища хотя тот находился в зоне их видимости, постоянные реплики самого героя озвученные невпопад и по любому мало мальскому событию, порой хочется, чтобы он просто молчал и не мешал играть, однотипные, повторяющиеся (почему в игре с таким бюджетом нельзя было записать сотни разных рассказов, обращений, приветствий и т.д., чтобы мир чувствовался более реалистичным и живым, непонятно) и опять же невпопад произнесённые реплики НПС. Всё это просто убивает атмосферу игры и не даёт по полной насладится, очень, очень, очень неплохо придуманным миром, а жаль, чертовски жаль. И всё же, игра достойная, но как же хотелось, чтобы она стала легендой ……, но увы ……

    Don't listen to the so-called professional critics that are giving low scores like 5 or 6 the game is far better what they say. Only problem for me is that it lacks mission variety most secondary missions feel the same, but the main story is very well done

    The most UNDERRATED game of the last 5 years atleast. The game has a great story, great length, great amount of stuff to do and most importantly NOT POLTICALLY CORRECT. It's just an enjoyable, challenging, stealth, action, motorcycle driving, fun game.

    Oh, and there's a ton of super fast, crazy zombies in it. A must play for action game lovers.

    Didn't play it on PS4. Hearing good things, gave it a try on PC. Have been enjoying the story. As for gameplay, it's fun. Nothing new to the genre but the developers did a good job porting it to PC and added ability to configure graphic settings. Everything on max and runs smoothly - maintaining 60 frames or better on a 2070. I wish this game had co-op.. Not one single issue so far.

    Just finished this game today and have to say it's been a blast. Good story, good fun, good characters and more than a nod to the MC sub culture. Skipped some of the horde sections as found them a bit too demanding, but overall a very enjoyable experience.

    Great game, looking very nice. Not a 10 but not a 6 or below either. 7 or 8 seems accurate.

    Story is somewhat interesting.

    Not much of a zombie games fan when it's not COOP. But i'm enjoying the game.

    Runs smooth and looks good.

    A fantastic port of a huge game. The story is a great bit of storytelling and some engrossing characters, with many flaws, but just surviving in a tough world. The gameplay can be tough and a bit of a slog, but this shows the hard life, post-outbreak, that the people have, searching for supplies and fighting the zombies and other humans for those, and the extremes that you and others go toA fantastic port of a huge game. The story is a great bit of storytelling and some engrossing characters, with many flaws, but just surviving in a tough world. The gameplay can be tough and a bit of a slog, but this shows the hard life, post-outbreak, that the people have, searching for supplies and fighting the zombies and other humans for those, and the extremes that you and others go to to stay alive.
    Weapons feel good to use, the bike is good to ride, the world is a lush countryside with a gruesome, blood-soaked smattering in some places. Fighting the hordes is one of the most frustrating, but ultimately satisfying thing you'll do in gaming.
    Also I played this from start to finish on Steam Deck and it works flawlessly.

I guess that there would be no point in fighting with them at all then and there would be no game. In case of real zombie apocalypse, don't fight the zombies with nukes, or guns. Fight them with tank like industrial machines that cut down zombies in large numbers at once. Millions of zombies will be a trifle then with little damage to the environment or infrastructure, little expense and no danger to the surviving population.    … Expand

    There is a secret ending 1-2 hours after the credits Wich was really shocking. Really hope there is a second game in the future.     A beautiful game. Already played this on PS but you could barely get 15 frames riding around there. Playing it now on 3070, 9600k and it runs like a dream at max with Gsync 165 hz. The atmosphere is great, textures, lighting, characters, story, combat, there is really only one negative thing and that is Deacon, the main character is such a whining btch. His voice-acting is nausiatingly badA beautiful game. Already played this on PS but you could barely get 15 frames riding around there. His voice-acting is nausiatingly bad and he acts like he is 15 years old but probably around 30. That always puzzles me, why would you make a character that is unlikeable? Pretty incredible that one can love the game as much as I do when hating the very person you play, but it works at least, just imagining what it would be like with an actual cool guy. I also wish it was slightly larger in scale and more to collect, but thats the hoarder in me and some hate that. Suprisingly long game which is a good thing. One odd thing to mention is that depending on what mission you are on, and when you are not in missions, you get random calls on your radio/walkie which can be like the same person calling within 5 seconds which you just talked to. I think that is a minor flaw, but I think it had to be so that be could choose what missions to play when, rather than play in one specific order, which would be worse.

    Thanks to the studio for having it on PC (actually contacted the directors about 1.5 years ago to beg them to port it to PC, they did not answer but read it, so maybe it can help?)    … Expand

    i dont know whats going on with the critics but i guess they didnt get their bribe money from bend studio and thq Nordic i liked bio-mutant and days one MUCH MUCH better than that same old shiit for more than a decade named assassins creed that has clearly nothing new and exciting to offer yet    i played two games from bend studio so far and i liked them both (days gone and golden abyss)

Прокачанного бака хватает на 3-4 километра в зависимости от стиля езды, но всё это компенсируется раскиданными повсюду канистрами с бензином и бензоколонками, что обесценивает находимый бензин - лучше бы его хватало на большее расстояние, а сам он попадался на много реже и добыть его было бы опаснее, то было бы интереснее.Days Gone - симулятор езды на мотоцикле с пробитым топливным баком.     В игре достаточно хорошая система убийства в стелсе зомбарей и хорошее реагирование их на звуки, система орд, а так же понравилась стрельба с хорошим звуком, оружие ощущается оружием, а не пукалкой. Сюжет вроде есть и не плохой, но местами некоторые квесты сводятся к поездке через пол карты, чтобы наш персонаж спросил - как ты? и получил в ответ - я занят! = квест завершен, но в целом местами очень не плох и логичен, когда обсуждается почему наступил апокалипсис и как избавиться от орд зомби (да в игре зомбарей называют фриками, но я в реале на улице встречал фриков, поэтому язык не повернется назвать зомби так, к зомби больше тогда подойдет любой синоним слова красавчик).

    Вызывает вопрос сомнительный уровень сложности ВЫЖИВАНИЕ II, который не отличается ни количеством зомби, ни их уроном, ни лутом от СЛОЖНО II, а усложняется только отсутствием интерфейса - мы не сможем узнать присмерти ли мы с 10 единицами жизней или у нас максимум здоровья - персонаж никак не реагирует на это и не стонет ни хромает ни истекает кровью, а если присесть и выбрать метательное оружие, то из-за расположения камеры не будет видно, что мы держим в руках, как говорится метнёшь узнаешь, про колесо выбора оружия молчу - тыкаешь одно, выбирается другое - это как играть за компом стоя на одной ноге - сложность не увеличивается, только дискомфорт появляется.

    Как итог - игра понравилась за счет хорошей механики, сюжет не вызывает негатива, стрелять не надоедает, а музыка подчеркивает атмосферу!    … Expand

    Performance: 3840x2160 max settings Minimum 28, AVG, 38, Max, 50, Lower resolutions resorted in a CPU bottleneck and couldn't get over 100 at any resolution.

    Price at this moment is $50, well worth it as the Campaign length alone is damn near 20 to 30 hours and that's not including taking down the 40 extra hordes laying around the wasteland.

    Drawbacks: Your Typical Zombie game always includes the following, Annoying Fetch Quests, Save this person from this outpost. You basically do a few of these before actual story missions. It's your typical zombie game, outpost take downs, people being tied up, being ambushed for no reason,

    Great game, Great story, Mind numbing side missions, fetch quests.

    definitely worth playing! Astonishing graphics, gameplay similar to Last of us. No lags no freeze at all (went ideally at GTX 1070 TI) which cannot be said about other 2021 year games. In summary, my score is at least 8.0 because open world looks less empty than fulfilled. Anyway, that's nice game. Gotta wait for your other projects

    Muy buen juego en general, la mayor pega es una duración larga si vas a todo y no solo la historia principal.

    La duración y el poder mejorar habilidades, armas etc... hace que la dificultad vaya en un gran descenso permanente, sería su segundo punto a criticar.

    Por lo demás notable o bien en casi todos los aspectos.

    Loved the gameplay and story in this game. they've done a great job with setting up the atmosphere. Long rides in countryside, taking on hordes of zombies to see you can get them all...
    It's a game that does many things well and manages to deliver a compelling experience.

El entorno y la música ayudan muchísimo a que el juego sea muy inmersivo y sientas fácilmente que estás en peligro en todo momento. Me encanta que, a pesar de avanzar en el juego y conseguir mejor equipo, nunca te sientas invencible, pues la dificultad también aumenta. Al igual, no siento que las misionesUn juego muy disfrutable de principio a fin. Un gustazo de personajes y de enemigos. El entorno y la música ayudan muchísimo a que el juego sea muy inmersivo y sientas fácilmente que estás en peligro en todo momento.     Very entertaining, full of different threads, twists and expresive mood. Well made rpg with beautiful graphics, satisfaying gameplay and big variety of weapons. The disadventage is too big amount of repetetive missions in main campain.

    somethings to improve in the game: 1- more guns which this game doesnt have alot of it 2- the game needs to    underrated game, i enjoyed it but its drags at the end and i think it should've been shorter than what devolopers made it , anyway the graphics were beautiful and the gameplay was fun especially the horde feature which was fun and intense, the acting and voices were spot on,

    somethings to improve in the game:
    1- more guns which this game doesnt have alot of it

    2- the game needs to be much more difficult i was playing on Hard but it felt easy as i was progressing through the story also needs more survival element, at the start of the game i was really careful about being spotted by Zombies so i was playing stealthy a lot since i didnt have powerful guns and the zombie could kill you easily but as you unlock more guns then you dont really need to be careful at all just run and gun whoever in front of you

    3- more vehicles would be great, maybe different types of bikes, or maybe even add a horse to ride that would be fun :)

    4- the story felt dragged so maybe shorter story and into the point

    overall its 8/10, i strongly recommend it    … Expand

    As for the controls, I found the bike to be a bit sluggish or "wonky", but after some play time I really ended up loving it enough to be disappointed by other games motorcycles mechanics. Take it in strides and enjoy the ride.    … Expand

    Good game. At first It didn't feel like a AAA but after playing quite a while, I was able to grasp the game mechanics and it felt really satisfying, Specially after killing a horde. The story is not bad but It could be better. I really like the main cast though. This is one of the game that kept me going even after I completed 100% of the quests. Looking forward to check the sequel ifGood game.     No Pc os gráficos estão primorosos, a experiência é muito boa, eu só acho que o inicio poderia ser mais empolgante, é bem paradão e é justamente no inicio que o jogo tem que prender o usuário, sem falar na historia que poderia ser menos genérica.
    Todavia, é um jogo que com certeza irei zerar e curtir muito, estou adorando.

The game itself is has RDR2 elements (the dependence on a motorcycle in place of a horse, and a story driven narrative with several cut scenes), L4D2/World Z elements as freakers take on the role of zombies, and stealth elements you might enjoy in say a Assassin'sDays Gone is one of the few console to PC ports that really works. The devs have done a great job of balancing these aesthetics into an overall enjoyable experience. The game brilliantly mixes the stealth, one on one attack of the freakers to the run and dodge element of taking on hoards, mixed in is the apocalyptic element of survivors distrust and looting of other survivors competing for the best position to keep living.

The atmosphere in the game feels genuine and can make you get lost in the world of Days Gone for hours. I´m deducting two points for two reasons though.

    The first deducted point is for technical faults. I played this game with an Xbox-Controller, which does work but is poorly implemented. The UI elements randomly switch to keyboard controls without me touching keyboard or mouse. This does not happen in any other game for me, so I guess its not a hardware fault. This can be extremely annoying, when during a quick-time event you have to think about what the F-key on the keyboard is on the controller now, leading to a lot of failed QTE´s. The pause menu also pops up at random intervals, gladly not often enough to be frustrating.

    The second point deducted is difficulty spike. Without spoiling anything: There´s a point in the game where an overly hard and frustrating game mechanic is introduced (you´ll know what I mean when the word "Chemult" gives you nightmares). It is an unskippable part of the story multiple times and requires a whole bunch of grinding and multiple tries every time. The game could have done without it.    … Expand

    At the end of the game, It doesn't give you the credits so easily to you. Second, on the mid of the game, the most of upgrades of your weapon and motorcycle is useless.

Задания все оч однотипные, особенно те, что выдают в лагерях, охота и собирательство ваще не нужны и не понятно нах они ваще в игре, целенаправленно этим заниматься 0 смысла, никто норм бабок не платит тебе в лагерях за такие вещи. Еще одна оч странная вещь в этой игре - это экономика. Она фиг пойми ваще как работает, в каждом лагере у тебя разное количество денег, тип тебе считай не платят даже за задания, а выдают так сказать право покупать товары на определенную сумму в одном определенном лагере, ерунда полная как по мне. Технических проблем зато вообще 0, один из лучших портов с консоли, оптимизон на уровне, как и графон в целом. Механика орд кста, вот тут спорно на самом деле, и спорно вот в чем: сама по себе орда це круто, однако этих орд по карте очень много, а убивать ты их нормально сможешь только в конце игры, да и по сюжету они ток в конце игры идут, ну механика то классная, только видишь ты ее редко, либо тебе придется очень жестко потеть, либо просто прокачаться и под конец игры выносить. Ну в целом игра хорошая, проходить ее в целом интересно, особенно во второй половине, но затянутая шо пепец канеш, можно было и покороче сделать я думаю, много моментов есть необязательных абсолютно.… Expand

But story is sometimes really cheap! Especially the ending... It was terrible! Final chapter was really good but ending - terrible. Characters are really good written. There is a lot to love about this game. ItGameplaywise days gone is a real fun. Hordes are amazing, atmosphere of this game is brilliant, mechanics are great and it's obvious that this game was created with lot of passion. But story is sometimes really cheap! İnsanlığın tarifsiz bir felaket yaşaması, evrimsel bir darboğazdan geçmesi, hayatta kalan insanların ortalama karakteristik özelliklerinin değişmesi ve türümüzün hayatta kalma çabasına ek olarak yeni bir medeniyet inşa etme hikayesi her zaman ilgimi çekecek gibi duruyor. Ancak bu alanda o kadar çok eser çıktı ve kalite o kadar yükseldi ki türün hakkını verebilmek gün geçtikçe zorlaşıyor.

    Days Gone türü itibariyle bana iki oyunu anımsattı: Dying Light ve Metro serisi. Açık dünya olmasıyla Dying Light'a yakınken, hikayesinin odağı, craft sistemi ve oynanışın nispeten basit olmasıyla Metro serisine benziyor.

    Kötü taraflarıyla başlayalım. Days Gone'ın combat'ı oldukça sıkıcı. Yakın dövüşte birçok silah yapabiliyor gibi görünseniz de hepsinin oynanışı aynı ve bir yerden sonra bayıyor. Oysa Dying Light, elektrikli veya alevli gibi yakın dövüş silahlarıyla inanılmaz bir çeşitlilik sunuyordu. Diğer yandan menzilli silahlarda birçok çeşitlilik var ve bunların oynanışa etkisi ciddi. Fakat burada da silah edinme şeklinin sadece satın alma olması ve kampların güvenini ayrı ayrı geliştirmek zorunda olmamız ve bunun için birbirinin aynısı sıkıcı yan görevleri yapmak zorunda olmamız son derece olumsuz.

    Bir oyunda loot o kadar önemli değil. Ama loot'u veya craft'ı çok önemsemiyorsanız Metro gibi gerilimi ya da Dying Light gibi combat keyfini üst düzey yapmalısınız. Ya da görev dizaynı o kadar başarılı olmalı ki combat sıkıcı da olsa sonundaki hikaye ilerleyişi için oynamaya devam etmelisiniz. Days Gone'ın yan görevlerinde hem combat sıkıcı, hem de görevin sonunda bir loot düşmüyor ya da tüm bunları yapmanız için hikayede iyi bir motivasyon vermiyor. Açık dünya yapıyorsanız, birbirinin aynısı outpost ele geçirme görevleri yaptırıyorsanız, hikayeye bunları yediremiyorsanız, dövüş eğlenceli olmalı ve sonunda iyi bir silah çıkmalı. Tıpkı Assassin's Creed Odyssey gibi.

    Combat bayıcı olsa da vuruş hissi yerinde. Menzilli ve yakın mesafe silahlarında vurduğunuzu ve silahların farklılığını hissediyorsunuz. İsabet alan karakterin beden animasyonları iyi.

    Motorun özelleştirmelerini ve geliştirmelerini beğendim. Benzin kapasitesinin artması özellikle hızlı seyahat mesafesini çok etkiliyor. Benzin bulmaya çalışmak, bulması çok kolay bulunduğu için biraz gereksiz durmuş. Bunun yerine daha ender benzin bulabilsek ama aracımıza yedek benzin bidonu falan asabilsek, çatışmada mermi isabet edince patlasa falan daha gerçekçi olurmuş. Benzini doldurup, daha içinde litrelerce benzin olan bidonu bu yoklukta arkamızda bırakmak biraz saçma görünüyor.

    Oyunun açık dünyasında dolaşmak da o kadar keyifli değil. Sürpriz unsuru çok az, şuraya da gideyim belki bir hikaye ya da bir silah vardır hissi hiç yok. Bölgeyi temizlemediyseniz bir yerden bir yere gitmek çok zor ki bu en azından oyunun atmosferini veriyor. Hızlı seyahat için güzergahınız üzerindeki enfekte alanları temizlemiş olmanız gerekiyor. Bu da en azından işe yarar bir motivasyon kaynağı.

    Oyundaki düşman çeşitliliği de bir zombi oyununa göre çok az. Bazı hayvanların yanında sadece bir iki çeşit zombi var. Ancak horde meselesini ben ilk kez görüyorum. Onlarla karşılaşmak epey gerici ve zorluydu. Sanırım horde, oyunun oyun dünyasına kattığı tek yenilik.

    Oyunun görev dizaynı da bir garip. Özellikle ikinci bölgeye geçene kadar ne ana görev ne yan görev çok belli değil. Haritada bir görev beliriyor gidip yapıyorsunuz işte. Hangilerinin çok da elzem olmadığı öğrenmem ve direkt ana görevlerden yardırmam epey vaktimi aldı.

    Oyunun hikayesini ve karakterleri sevdim. Kampların ve liderlerinin kendilerine özgü kişilikleri olması, iyi ve kötü yanlarının, güçlü yanlarının ve zayıflıklarının olması, iç çekişmelerle uğraşmaları hikayeyi gerçekçi kılmış. Bu açıdan bana Fallout New Vegas'ı anımsattı. Keşke onun gibi rpg olsaymış dedim çoğu yerde. Yanımızdaki arkadaşlarımızın kişilikleri ve kendileriyle yaşadıkları çekişmeler de gayet başarılı işlenmiş. Ve oyunun asıl hedefi olan Sarah'ı bulmak, onu bulma amacının başlaması, bulduktan sonra yaşanan gerilim ve yeniden kavuşma da duygusaldı. Bu açıdan klişe ama iyi işlenen bir hikayeydi.

    Özetle hikaye ve atmosfer olarak fena olmayan, oynanış çeşitliliği ve keyfi açısından biraz sınıfta kalan, açık dünyanın avantajlarını kullanamayan bir oyun olmuş. İkincisi çıkacak gibi bitti.     Good game and fairly priced seeing the graphics upgrade. My complains is the fps fluctuations (specially when riding the bike), the lack of enemy variety and the minimal bike customization. It's greatest strength is the story and acting in combination with a tight gameplay mechanic that prefers head-on action. I really hope for a sequel and I would pay full price.

    Days Gone is a game that starts off with a great atmosphere, beautiful graphics, and a okay story that tries to drag you in immediately.

    The gameplay is solid, it kinda reminds me of the Last Of Us, and I feel that the developers were inspired by that game, and so they gave us Days Gone.

    The guns feel great to use, melee combat feels amazing, and as I said graphically it is truly a stunning masterpiece, as is the atmosphere but more on that later.

    The stealth mechanic, could use some extra work. Enemies seem to act somewhat irrational when it comes to the stealth route because, sometimes, they see you coming from miles away where as other times they don't see you at all.

    Which was kinda upsetting to me. Also the silencers you can put on your guns, last a very short time, way too short if you ask me. Luckily we can download mods for that, more on that later too!

    The story, without spoiling anything, is kinda disappointing.
    Certain ''things'' happen in the story that is just plain pathetic.
    It basically made me feel like a babysitting adult, you'll understand why when you play it yourself.

    So the story is okay at first, but then it started making some turns that were just really weird and sometimes even annoying.

    The crafting system is alright but it is also pretty basic, and those crafting items you find in the world, seem to be just respawning. So there's no real in-depth in the crafting system and you will not feel like you truly have to survive.

    Deacon the main protagonist, is an annoying loud mouth, and has the mental age of a borderline child. Sometimes he randomnly shouts or just acts extremely childish.

    But the atmosphere and gameplay totally makes up for that, the entire game is huge, and with huge I mean really huge, I think it can take around 60 to 70 hours to complete. Maybe even longer.

    The atmosphere is what makes me keep coming back and play this, the audio is fantastic. The game can turn pretty creepy/scary too when you're playing at nighttime.

    Situations can occur that can change the entire plan you had in your mind about approaching enemies. The motorcycle feels great to handle, and is heavy, it is really there, it has weight to it. And the upgradable parts are a very nice touch as well.

    Hordes are mind blowing to see and are very intimidating. They can be hard to deal with.
    But make you feel extremely immersed.

    If the story was not so mediocre this game would've been easily a 10 for me, but I am giving it a 7 because the story is just really bad. Though others feel the story improves in the second half of the game. I didn't feel like that at all.

    However before playing this I do wanna recommend to play with some mods just to improve the game in overall.

    For starters, I would recommend a longer lasting silencer mod, a bigger hordes mod, and a reshade. This will bring Days Gone really to the spot.

    Gameplay? Simple shooter, sometimes it's very boring and annoying specially with the Hordes, but overall, it's ok
    Graphics? World is very beautifull, diferent biomes and all that ****
    Story? It's also OK, the first couple of hours to me were very boring, only after i got to the third camp did it feel like the story was picking up.

    In general, I find the game quite interesting, it's fun and although it is repetitive at certain times, I think that in general the total concept of the game is quite acceptable, interesting story, quite interesting characters. The story is a bit predictable but not always, what I do miss is the absence of a strong villain.

    In my opinion it is a game 7 out of 10.

    - also too annoying ideas of camp leaders from beginning. Few repetitive quest rules - it could be fun with gameplay and mechanics 1-st place, but its not. I remember only zombie swarm is unique.     Was fine had its ups and downs side missions were placeholder that they forgot to replace gameplay was FIRE!!! horde fights etc are really good but had its share of boring and tedious missons. Its a me problem but i had alot of expectations from this game and left many of them unfulfiled so i can't give higher than this.

It has lots of eye candy and plentiful cut scenes, plus there's a skill tree and weapons upgrades too. Oh and it has an actual, admittedly capable, actor I remember from US version of Being Human cast as lead character, Deacon St John.

    That said, the negatives heavily outweigh the positive. This includes in game bugs that can be downright infuriating, unfair save game cycles you have very little control over, basic weapons and vehicle mechanics that often feel awkward.

    There's a real lack of balance game and cohesion in the story. Points are gained by building trust but its uneven between camps you visit which creates some real issues when it comes to things like fuelling up, re-arming and buying weapons and other provisions.

    Many of the missions add little to the disjointed plot and sub plot ridden story too and end up feeling like busy work. Its not helped either by limited diversity in environments and somewhat repetitive enemies.

    All in all, this one bored me after 3-4 hours of game play and I can not recommend it at its current purchase price.    … Expand

Just another zombie looting game. I'd rather play Assassins Creed Odyssey or Valhalla than this. I've never liked zombie games except for Resident Evil and Evil Within games.

    Terrible pacing. You will witness meaningless fighting against stupid AI during tedious cutscene. Bad ending. There is just not gonna get an sequel, wonder how dare they wrote a confusing ending without explaining it. The purpose of finding his wife bring nothing but cringe and question, like why the flock did I spend my time in this rubbish.

    Great port of a great title. Zombie games are all around us, but Bend Studio managed to squeeze every last drop out of this worn out setting. Everything is well-designed and polished in Days Gone – the believable world and characters in it, the distinct post-apocalyptic aura, the crafting, the thrilling combat and spectacular encounters with bloodthirsty hordes. In addition, this version is well-optimized and runs smoothly on a mid-range PC. [08/2021, p.48]

    The PC version of Days Gone manages to be a superior experience. More polished and better performing than the original on PS4. It doesn't escape its sins however – a story with an uneven pace associated with repetitive and sometimes unnecessary mechanics. The game would benefit if some mechanics were simplified, but it is still a very solid option for those who like open worlds, motorcycles and zombies.

    For my money, Days Gone remains one of the absolute best open-world games on the market, and now more people will have the opportunity to try it out for themselves as it puts its best foot forward. That’s something worth celebrating, I think.
