MarcPJul 18, 2009If you want to play WW2 "Ol' School", buy this game, if you like Good graphics and more players, go for Day of Defeat : Source. I'm not an "Old School" player, So I gave it a 5.

YgorF.Aug 23, 2006The game is awesome, but it seems there is no updating in VAC, making cheaters owe the game. Such way everybody will go to the source(obvious).

JohnQ.May 3, 2003so much for being about the only FPS game on the net that is playable with 56k! I dont know what they did to the code, but DoD v1.0 is NOT FIT FOR 56k. Ive played dod online with 56k since version beta 2.1 came out about a year and a half back and had no lag probs at all, 1.0 comes out and its like playing bf1942. DOD TEAM PLZ FIX THIS!!!

Game InformerThe sound of bullets whizzing past your ear or slamming into some nearby surface is disturbingly realistic. [Aug 2003, p.102]

Getting into a game is incredibly easy, and the action draws you in like a real war movie.

TotalGames.netDOD irresistibly draws you back for more time and time again. The level designs shine above so many other team-based shooters and provide the perfect stage for some unbeatably tense shootouts.
