Dark Parables: Rise of the Snow Queen Collector's Edition comes with the Main Story, a Bonus Story and some other Bonus Content such as a little Artbook, Bonus Puzzle Levels, the Soundtrack & Wallpapers.
The Dark Parables Games are so far all nice Point & Click / HO Games with a very atmospheric Fantasy Story.
Take all the Fantasy Stories from your Childhood and change them up a bit this is what the Dark Parables Games basically are. Which I personally love. I enjoy seeing my Childhood Fantasy Stories once again but a little bit different.
The Gameplay from this Game is just as good as the first 2 Games with the only exception that the Mouse felt a bit off in the very beginning. But you will get used to it very quickly and afterwards its not noticable anymore.
The Voice Acting in this Game was just as fantastic as the other 2 Games, which leaves me a bit surprised as most point & click / HO Games have rather 'interesting' voice acting.
I saw a different Option this time in the Game called 'widescreen' however it seemed to rather stretch it then making it widescreen so I just left that alone.
This Game also had the Steam Overlay and has Steam Trading Cards unlike the first Dark Parables Game.
To my grattitude this Game also game with a build in Guide in case you get stuck, which I personally did miss in the second game of the series.
The Hidden Object Scenes where challenging but not impossible to make. Some items were very hidden and left me with a smile after I managed to find them. The Puzzles were also rather challenging some on which I just got stuck on ages and some that were alot of fun to do.
The Story itself was fantastic and still left me dreaming with its great atmosphere and bright colours.
All in all this game is absolutley amazing and a hidden Gem here on Steam. It also is so far my favourite. I just loved the Artstyle and the deep Story behind it.
I do recommend this Game to everybody that loves HO / Point & Click Games.… Expand
