    Dark Horizons: Mechanized Corps is still in alpha, so it is not yet a complete game. Still, it has a very low price tag, and fans of mech combat should be please with what they get for the very low price. Many of us were waiting for years and years for MechWarrior 5 only to have the rug pulled out from under us with MechWarrior Online, a "free" game set up to milk the die-hard fans ofDark Horizons: Mechanized Corps is still in alpha, so it is not yet a complete game. Still, it has a very low price tag, and fans of mech combat should be please with what they get for the very low price. Many of us were waiting for years and years for MechWarrior 5 only to have the rug pulled out from under us with MechWarrior Online, a "free" game set up to milk the die-hard fans of the MechWarrior franchise.

    Being that a complete game of MechWarrior 5 is now nearly certain to never materialize, the next best thing is to look for an alternative, one that respects what was great about previous MechWarrior titles. The current alpha of Dark Horizons: Mechanized Corps is the best I have found so far.
