The sequel to Tarr Chronicles, Dark Horizon immerses itself in the unusual space mythology established in Tarr, and, with a handful is new features, is the better game but is essentially, more of the same.

There's no doubt about it; Dark Horizon is flawed. From flat-out errors to those moments where you can't help but wonder what, exactly, the developer was thinking, the game feels almost unfinished.

It’s just average. It doesn’t push the bar in any way with nothing revolutionary appearing in it. The best way to describe this game is safe.
  3. When I first heard about this game, it sounded like a cut down version of Freelancer or Starlancer two of my favorite space shooters of all time in the gameplay department. While it was a good attempt to give the genre another go, this is one game that did not even give it a good old try to re-invigorate this dead genre.
