Jul 13, 2013The sequel to Tarr Chronicles, Dark Horizon immerses itself in the unusual space mythology established in Tarr, and, with a handful is new features, is the better game but is essentially, more of the same.

There's no doubt about it; Dark Horizon is flawed. From flat-out errors to those moments where you can't help but wonder what, exactly, the developer was thinking, the game feels almost unfinished.
-
BoomtownIt’s just average. It doesn’t push the bar in any way with nothing revolutionary appearing in it. The best way to describe this game is safe.

When I first heard about this game, it sounded like a cut down version of Freelancer or Starlancer two of my favorite space shooters of all time in the gameplay department. While it was a good attempt to give the genre another go, this is one game that did not even give it a good old try to re-invigorate this dead genre.
