    Would give it a 10 if it was more polished, but the experience is smooth, NightCity is immersive and the story of V is yours... sinked 4 days in it so far and can't wait to go back

    this said, I am aware of the game status on last-Gen consoles and hope CDPR can pull an EA or No Man's Sky post-work on it... it deserve it.. and players too

    Playing for a few days now. Only some minor glitches like cigarettes and chopsticks. Game looks good, feels good and plays good. Script is good, characters are crisp and there are some sweet tunes on the radio. Overall I think it’s a very good game and worth waiting.

    Great game, but bugs, bugs, and more bugs, mostly not harmful (i had to reset mission 4 times in 30h), the bugs are mostly a floating things so its not disturbing, and sometimes missing mouth movement. The story is awesome, actors did a great job, music is climatic.     Gorgeous open world game, i dont wanna leave it not for a minute. Stunning, absolutely in love with the game. Almost zero bugs in 32 hours playtime now. My only wish - better optimization, i hope they fix it soon. THIS WAS WORTH WAITING FOR 100%.

The city is so massive, and diverse that if i didnt look at my map, i'd get lost. i am LOVING the world they have made, i havent finished the story so i cant offer full thoughts but im liking it so far, combat can be a little clunky sometimes but to me its still very playable. there are many options as far as builds go, you can be a melee(blunt or blades) guy, a gun (rifle,pistol,shotgun) guy, you can build around hacking to take enemies out, use stealth, ect. the framerate dips can be annoying but the game is so good that i just had to play anyway. wait for them to patch it or be like me accept it and power through.… Expand

    Pretty buggy but so was Skyrim and Fallout 4. Just hoping CDPR is able to fix the bugs in a month or two.

    Its Buggy, Its Unfinished, Performance is poor, You will be ripped out of your immersion quite a few times. It will crash quite a few times. But its also funny as hell.     dont lie to yourself guys, this game is no Masterpiece in the state its currently at. And were not supposed to rate "Potential" were supposed to rate a full game which supposedly was already finished months ago. And costs money :^)

    As is goes for Last Gen Console, people are defending CDPR for literally releasing a BROKEN game.

    I have yet to finish the game (partially through act 2) but here is my review, I have a system that is just above what the minimum requirements for the game are, and I have been having a fun time with a graphically beautiful game, even if I had to change three graphical settings to keep the game from hitting low frame rates (started with high graphical settings).

    combat: I enjoy the combat in the game and I am familiar with rpg shooter games, the only time I feel like the enemies are bullet sponges, is when I fight Waaaay above my level, (skulled enemies basically). The gun play is good, the melee weapon is decent for a FPS. h2h leaves things to be desired.
    Driving: turning is touch as hell, I advice having a controller plugged in to use for doing this. my only complaint is the lack of customization of our rides that we get for free (have yet to purchase a car).
    Character equipment and inventory: enjoy the 'depth' that this game has on gear that the characters have but can tell what was cut or added from the original game play presentation. The cybernetics are interesting, nice that some of the implants are tied to having a certain stat level to be able to use. Lack of personal customization on weapons somewhat hurts here. (I do not want a random drop or the shop inventory being how I get a different appearing gun.)
    the character customization is great at creation, but the inability to change the character (even if it is CS, mirror, and menu view only) hurts when you want to change how the character looks later on after 30+ hours of playing.
    the lack of over all bugs helps this game allot and they have not created more with the patches they had done, except for a certain studio that will remain unnamed here since it is a Cyberpunk 2077 review. The fact that it came out finally has me happy.    … Expand

    It's an amazing game, you have to play it if you want to exprience what I did.
    There are a lot of bugs, with stuff on the floor, npcs and cars but for me, 30h of gameplay I had to reload save only twice cause of bugs that made storyline impossible to do.
    Another bad thing is game performance, its ultra laggy in cities, but I hope they will work it out, bugs as well. I can't wait to play dlc

    Playing this on a high end pc is amazing! The graphics, the stories, the characters, the sound design, and the overall world building is incredible! Of course there are some issues with AI and a few bugs (really I haven't run into many) but the pure enjoyment of playing this game has over shadowed the few problems for me.

    9 for PC version, can't give it a 10 because it is extremely buggy and the console release is ridiculous. That said if you're on a PC with high end specs it is a fantastic game albeit difficult to run. If we're talking just quests, story and writing it's one of the best I've played to date.     Minus a few visual bugs here or there and FPS drops on higher settings, this game is phenomenal. One of the best games I’ve ever played, you just have to experience it on a high end PC.

    I'm enjoying my time with cyberpunk. I am fortunate to have a higher end pc so the game plays pretty well for me. Missions are great. Story is great. City is good. Some visual bugs. Some missing NPCs that I need to reload to get to spawn. police and city driving ai are pretty not very good though to say the least. Overall the bugs I get do break immersion but aren't ruining my experience.

    Bugs and glitches aside this is an absolute blast to play. The world is amazing and the characters and stories CDPR have crafted are top notch. Hopefully patches will fix some of the performance and bug related issues soon. Once everything is ironed out this may become my favorite game of all time.

If the bugs and performance issues don't bother you then cyberpunk 2077 is a great game and an intriguing story that I believe will keep you entertained for many hours to come.… Expand

    I ran mine on 3070 and 2060 graphics cards and I was able to run complete ultra on the 3070 and on the 2060 I was able to run at medium settings, and the game is just beautifu! The scenery and the visuals and the dialogues and gameplay are extremely breath taking and immersive. I do think they can improve on AI actions but other than that. Really amazing game! Get it!!

    Masterpiece! A true masterpiece. I have always knew that CDPROJECT RED never dissappoints. And THEY DID IT AGAIN THIS TIME. the graphics 10/10

    Gameplay 10/10 First time they mades vehicles in their game and it just perfect. The sound the driving and riding is just flawless. I really love it. With a few bugs here and there. Nothing game breaking but just funny

    На ПК отличная игра. Вполне понимаю негодование консольщиков, но тем не менее не понятен негатив тех кто играет на ПК. Есть определенные баги, которые тем не менее постоянно исправляются. Лично я в своей игре их почти не встречал, вылетов вообще не было. И это при том, что у меня не самое хорошее железо.     A great game indeed. The story is gripping and the graphics are ravishing. The bugs are to be expected - all open world RPGs in the past decade have been riddled with bugs at launch. My only gripe would be some illogical customization limitations - 4 body tattoos, yet 29 ears? But ultimately that has no bearing ok the game itself.

    Great storyline, fun gameplay, amazing looking city, poor AI, kinda bad optimization (for PC. Console version is a mess). Overall, met to my expectations. Wish they waited for a couple of months to release though.

    This game is a really good one in terms of gameplay and storyline. I believe that this game will be like the Witcher in the future but only after optimization fixes. So this is the reason for 9/10 instead of 10/10.

    It would be a good remaster but instead it is a modern game that looks like games created when studio launched this project.

    I currently have around 40 hours on the game and I did not encounter any serious bug .. yes there are glitches but not something deal breaker .. I enjoy the game and keep playing but it does not come close to the level of The witcher .. the story and characters are not so interesting ..     Now even on a beast of a PC I still have some glitches. Most off them have been funny and haven't had anything game breaking thus far.     While there are bugs in the game (something normal these days with the release pressure, and ×10000 on this game), it is a masterpiece. Give it time and let's see how it evolves on the first month, I'm certain it will not disappoint!

While the game has a colossal amount of glitches from my experience they haven't been game-breaking and I'm somewhat willing to let it slide because of the sheer scale of the game and considering that prior to Cyberpunk CDPR as a company has only worked on witcher games which are drastically different from the futuristic Cyberpunk. The game isn't just mature for the sex and violence, it explores deep themes and problems like the purpose of life, fear of the unknown, and how awful, but somewhat beautiful our world could be in the future. It's not some GTA, Skyrim, or Witcher clone, the game has its own identity and I'm already excited for what would come in the future considering that now they have a base for expansion from this game.

    Looking at other reviews made by some overemotional chooms I'd like to suggest checking spec requirements and updating your drivers :).     Is this a good game? Very good - does it have bugs and glitches? Yes, and they will be fixed.

    If someone writes that the city in the game is empty, the graphics are crap, and the AI ​​of the NPCs is PS2 level, then either they haven't played the game or it's just not a title for them. Complaining like that is just a lie.

    I play with patch 1.04 on 6700k, 2080Super, 16GB RAM in FHD and I have everything with RTX to the max - the only bugs I have encountered are sometimes a pedestrian phone hanging in the air or a dialogue bug that continues after I leave the character.     As for PS4 and X1 - I don't think this game should come out on these consoles and here CDPR made a mistake. Thats it.

    And like any game - it's not for everyone.     amazing game, amazing characters, amazing story. the environments are beautiful and waiting to be explored. the open world aspect is making a decent job at making places look alive, filled with people and cars. most of the bugs are of minor inconvenience, and the optimization could be improved on most platforms, but this is a masterpiece that everyone should experience at least once.

    The negative reviews are grossly exaggerated, as far as the PC release is concerned. The game runs really well on mediocre hardware (GTX 1660). Over 6+ hours of gameplay I've only noticed that a cigarette has been flying in air - apart from that, the gameplay has been very enjoyable. Great graphics and visuals, engaging story - I do highly recommend trying the PC release before hating :).

    Just the best game of the year. People complain about it not running on their gtx 970 but based on the graphics this is just pure nonsense. Last but not least you should mainly play this game for the main story and the side-quest. Gameplay is good but not overwhelming.

    If this game solve the problems with bugs deserve the the score of 11 points. i have never saw a city like this, visual and the actually gaming is huge. Finaly is really funny and intresting game, only that is important. This is opinion for PC.

I'm not mentioning the bad things about some game functions like AI; which is notI like this game.     The best part about this experience is easily the world building and characters you meet along the way. Rivaling that of the Witcher 3. Noting that CDPR games do tend to get better with age, I do expect this game to iron out it's issues and implement QoL features that this game is missing. Mostly having to do with customization and some immersion issues, namely that you cannot edit your "V" after the very first character creator.    … Expand

After countless delays and many years of waiting we finally got to play the game and after experiencing the title for myself I'm left both amazed and severly dissappointed.

    For starters Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game with a fantastic story and beyond stunning visuals, but being a triple-A RPG requires more than just story and graphics to succeed in my books. I finished the game's main story line in roughly 25 hours and was afterwards thrown in to a huge open world with countless sidequests and.. and.. that's about it. I was surprised by how immensly empty the city feel. There's a huge lack of activities and RPG elements that're so important for a game of this genre. Repeatable activities such and racing and various other mini games are what really adds to an open world game, but there's hardly any. Not only that, but things like barbers, car customization, weapon customization and other elements that give the player more choices and freedom are also missing. I don't expect CP77 to be the next GTA, because it's not. It's an RPG, but it's a very lackluster RPG without these basic features.

    Secondly, there's the bugs.. and holy sh*t.. this game is buggy. I get that they kinda forced themselves in a corner where they couldn't delay the game further, but I now understand just how badly it needed yet another delay. Found it extremely difficult to enjoy the main storyline without constantly having to worry about things glitching and quests bugging out because they did.. they did very often. Hopefully over the next couple of months they'll sort most of the crucial bugs out, but it'll take a massive amount of work.

    That being said I did still enjoy the game overall, but these issues kept me feeling like it could've been and should've been a lot better than it is. I'm extremely eager to see what the coming months/years will bring to Cyperpunk 2077, both in terms of DLC and bug fixes, but for now I can't give the game a higher score, despite how badly I want to.    … Expand

    I'll start off saying I'm running a 2080ti and 8700k with 32GB of ram and have the game installed on an ssd. Ok with that out of the way I'm having no issues running the game have only had a few small bugs, no crashes. I'm running 1440p high settings with RT and quality DLSS. I'm enjoying the game but the reason for the 9/10 is the bad AI.

Yes there are many bugs, lags and the optimization is not doing well, but the narrative of the story is great and suitable for everyone, if you don't want to waste your time, then you can quickly pass the main storyline if you have more time then you can get the more advanced experience. The game-play plays the second role in the plan of developers. It is not very impressive but it does enough to put tou in the atmosphere of Night City. Anyways the story is why you must love this game if you don't like it, then you probably didn't play for enough time or you were just paying too much attention to bugs(some of them are funny, but when they started to happen multiple times I became nervous). To complete my review I'd say that Cyberpunk 2077 is a big game which can give you amazing experience if you will be able to overcome its technical problems.… Expand

    I really love this game, I understand people are having issues with performance and bugs but I have not experienced any of that. They should probably have delayed it more.

    The world is amazing, I don't think I have ever been this immersed in a game, the writing is great!

    The main storyline has close to 0 choices (there's few hidden ones but quite scarce). Silverhand is just a crying baby going "I hate corporations I want freedom now!" 24/7. It's a massive cityscape, riddled with copy and paste 3 types of activity - Kill group of gangers (3-5 guys) Kill den of gangers (5-10 guys + mini boss), "side" quest (takes 1-4 minutes depending if you're attempting stealth or not.

    I did play entire game on hardest difficulty ever since the begging - there's just no joy to be had here. Only suffering of things that we all expected, but never got. The gold age of CDPR is over.    … Expand

    Everything about this game is epic and excellent! There are bugs, but they are rarely game breaking and are easy to recover from (usually just have to reload to fix). It's just released so it'll get patched to remove the bugs in due time. I cannot recommend this game more regardless.

    Excellent game, Night City is truly breathtaking, driving, shooting, stealth is fun and satisfying. Bugs are there, but surely will be eliminated and are forgivable at such a scope of a game.

    The story is great so far I have about 14ish hours mostly side missions and some of the main story.
    Day one only ran into a few visual bugs.
    After the hotfix, most of the bugs are gone for me but a new one has appeared. I will get a white flash from time to time. So I'm waiting for a new patch and playing Ghost of Tsushima till a new patch or hotfix.
    I do think the game needed more time, I also think they made a big mistake in how they handled the old consoles.
    But the game is good and will only get better after some patches. Lots of games come out buggy.
    I also just bought Ghosts of Tsushimatoday 12/14/20. That game has been out for a while now and I have run into more bugs in that game than Cyberpunk 2077. But that is just my experience. It also doesn't take away from how good that game is. The story and gameplay are great.

    Back to Cyberpunk 2077, gunplay is kind of crap but really good for an open-world RPG.
    Driving sucks even with a controller.

    It is a beautiful game to look at and be in the world.
    I look forward to what they are going to bring in the future. I'm buying it a second time on GOG just so that the dev can get more money for the game (at least if they are bringing DLC for free that is)
    I will say for anyone that hasn't bought it. Yes PC only, also wait for a few months unless your cool with playing the bug lottery.

    I haven't had a single game-breaking bug, but I know people who have.
    If you are a big fan of the cyberpunk look and world the game is a great interpretation of it.
    I have to say that people really overhyped the game in a big way, both the company and the content creators. It is our job as consumers to temper those expectations and think about what we are really going to get. A game cant be everything unless you want another Star Citizen. A game stuck in development hell that may never come out because they want to be and do everything.

    So like I said if you want to gamble with how bad your bugs are get the game now. If you can wait then you should wait but please pick up the game in a few months. I love the game and I'm sure that the devs will take care of us. They have already proved that with that last hotfix, when the patches come out in Jan and Feb of 2021, I think the game will be running much better. I just wish they could have waited until then to release the game in the first place, even though I have been waiting since the first showed the game way back when.
    But some people (the ones crying about it being "bad") would have been big babies about "it'll never come out" and all that crap.    … Expand

    Main story is a little short. But side quests are amazing. Beside, have so many bugs in the game. So many that will make your playing experience become so bad. But i think CPR will fix it in the future

    this has been a really fun game to play I am running this game on 3 year old hardware and even though I had to lower the graphics to play I am still loving it. There are some parts of the game outside of performance that needs some polishing.

    -improved driving mechanics -the inventory menus should be improved in a few ways.     -when crafting items they should change the press and hold to just a simple press to craft
    -either lower the price of everything or increase the price you can sell things at. The grind for cash is way to slow.

    I see a lot of complaints about the game. all performance complaints are justified however the game itself is good. I have seen complaints about the AI which to me does not seem accurate i think the AI in this game are on par with the best AI in any other game. another complaint I've seen is that the story is too short/ or poorly written. From what I've seen this could not be further from the truth the only reason I could see them making this claim is if the just skipped all the dialogue for every mission because if you actually sat a listened to every mission NPC you would actually have a pretty good story even from side missions that were added in. I particularly enjoy the cyberpsycho, racing, and boxing missions and I hope they add more of them in the DLC's they have talked about. I believe this game is worth playing and with some time they may be able to tune the game to run smoother on most systems. I will continue to play the game and wait in excitement for whatever DLC they decide to add. I'm sure in time this game has the potential to be as loved as the Witcher 3 was.    … Expand

    Cyberpunk's story is one of the best i have ever seen and heard, many people are angry and rightfully so because of the bugs, i haven't seen any im playing on a i5-9400f and 1660ti but people forget that bugs and poor optimization can be patched.

I don’t know how it’ll run on my PS4, but all I know is even games like TLOU2 and Ghost looks and runs extremely good on my PS4, but I highly doubt Cyberpunk can.     Amazing. Havent had so much fun in a whille. Yes it requires high end hardware however it is a game for the future and CD Project will fix the bugs and issues(I encoutntered negligible issues).

    For RPG fans who like me did not want a GTA V this is the game. Immersive and deep.

    Welcome to "DEATH" City... I do not know even where to start. This is nothing what they said it wil be. It miss about 1-2 years of development. The AI does not exist... Story is linear... If this game was published in 2012 I would say WOW, but at this moment it's a shame that they released such a piece of crap.

    An excellent game, solid story line, graphics are fantastic, gameplay is smooth, complex and engaging and no major bugs. I honestly have no idea what these others are **** about, PC version worked very well out of the box.

    The best game I have ever player despite of some graphical glitches from time to time. Wonderful city, great story very immersive, interesting npcs, voice acting is really good. I do not understand all of those 0/10, it is not objective in any way. I have been playing on good pc so maybe my perpespective is different.
    I can strongly recommend, if you are looking for very good RPG game

    Najlepsza gra w jaką grałem. Fabuła jest na najwyższym poziomie którego nie doświadczymy w żadnej innej grze. Świetnie poprowadzone dialogi. Optymalizacja co prawda mogła by być lepsza oraz bugów mogło by być mniej, ale gra jest w pełni grywalna.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
