    Cyberpunk2077 is a good game and works well for me onPC. I think the game delivers on the hype. Unlike Last of Us2 Its main story is exciting and engaging . The graphics are wonderful. I understand that bugs are extremely bad for non-pc users , but how can you judge a product without being able to play it? I agree this should only been released for pc until they got everything ready for consoles.

    Great game on next gen consoles! However, it’s performance on last gen systems is inexcusable. Therefore I’m taking this game from a 9.5 to a 7

    It's just incredible, the ambient, the guns and cloth/armour system is amazing, story telling is amazing too, and you can actually feel that you are talking to other NPCs, because they look at you even if you are moving around, cars and bikes feel amazing, we have to remember that this is the first time CDPR makes a game like this, I've encountered bugs too, but not game breaking bugs, andIt's just incredible, the ambient, the guns and cloth/armour system is amazing, story telling is amazing too, and you can actually feel that you are talking to other NPCs, because they look at you even if you are moving around, cars and bikes feel amazing, we have to remember that this is the first time CDPR makes a game like this, I've encountered bugs too, but not game breaking bugs, and I haven't got any crash.… Expand

    This might sound as a very subjective review, but I'm sure there are more people who share similar experience. After 50+ hours of playing I've witnessed maybe 2 minor bugs. The game has never crashed for me and optimization on max details in 1440p is absolutely fantastic. I'm enjoying this game on full throttle and I hope future patches will solve issues the other players have. I'd    10/10

    As someone who was played the game on a mid spec pc and on ps5 I feel I am in a good position to give this game a fair review, as we all know most consoles don’t give you the chance to play new gen games on last gen, I’m not surprised this game runs poorly on last gen as it runs ok on my pc due to the intense amount of graphic options, the gameplay and story are superb, the bugs areAs someone who was played the game on a mid spec pc and on ps5 I feel I am in a good position to give this game a fair review, as we all know most consoles don’t give you the chance to play new gen games on last gen, I’m not surprised this game runs poorly on last gen as it runs ok on my pc due to the intense amount of graphic options, the gameplay and story are superb, the bugs are noticeable but not as bad as people make them out to be. The city looks dead, the AI is a complete disaster, FPS rate is lower than expected, having a constant 20-30 FPS with a replica of the "recommended specs" on high-middle graphics, textures, sometimes do not load correctly, and lastly, the dialogues are a brokenYet having a decent story with ok characters on a peculiar ambient, the number of bugs and errors this game has did it for me.     average gAMECyberpunk 2077 is a very interesting experience. I'd like to preface this by saying that I'm a major fan of the CDPR from The Witcher series, played all of them several times. They are all 10/10s in their own rights, but Cyberpunk 2077 is very different in some respects and also very similar

    Love it. It needs some work for sure but the foundation of the game rocks. Story is beautiful. Art is beautiful and the world is breathtaking. I'm on pc so my experience is a bit better than console.

    Interesting and fun game. The open world looks and feels impressive, but you can’t do anything in it. A lot was cut, that we’ve seen in trailers before. Trains are not a thing even if there are hints of it in the city. There is no real garage system for your cars, you can’t buy food of vendors on the street. You can’t really do anything in this open world. A lot of wasted potential.
    And    Interesting and fun game. The open world looks and feels impressive, but you can’t do anything in it. A lot was cut, that we’ve seen in trailers before.     The game is everything I wanted. Only issue I got from like 10 hours gameplay was frame drops. Guess I'll wait for some months. I am sure it will get better with time.

    People who give this game ones expected to play it on their 10y/o PC's, and now call it a scam. Grow up.

    Game is incredible, story is incredibly engaging, with mood boosted by great music. It has various different mechanics and provides many hours of great fun.

    Buggy, 15 FPS on ps4 base model. I was really looking forward to this game since it was announced. But I can not share the same experience or the excitement that I had for Witcher 3.

I am aware this game has released in a very buggy state, however, I can only comment on my personal experiences, playing with a relatively high-end PC. This game was clearly not finished, but it chugs along well enough on my hardware that after 40 hours, I have only had a few bugs, and none of them game-breaking.

    This game is rivaled only in world-building by the Witcher 3, CDPR know how to create a world and tell a story. The graphics are phenomenal, the voice acting splendid, the quests electrifying.

    I understand people are upset the game released in a clearly unfinished state, however, in 6-8 months, it will be running how we know CDPR can make it run. And rating the game based on its artistic merits, its ability to immerse and amaze, and it's more than sufficiently fun gameplay mechanics, it is an easy 10, and one of the most special games of all time.

    Rating this game a 1 is petulant and immature, but what else do you expect from the most vocal "gamers" in 2020.    … Expand

    The story is a masterpiece, the graphics and the gameplay is excellent. I had a couple of minor bugs but it is ok. Of course I am playing the game on pc that is why I don't have problems.

    Site Quests are great. Great characters and writing. Far beyond the main story where you really just want a bullet in the brain after dealing with jhonny. F that stupid chip story. Main quest is also amazingly short... and annoying at best. Prologue was good, after that just gets super annoying. Sad that the focus was the chip. The City    So 45 hours in.     The City is alive and busy. But no real interaction at any of the million stalls and shops. Its like walking through a painting. A lot see, not much to do... A lot of minor interactions could have been added to give Life to the art.

    A variaty of play stiles available. stealthy, brute, gunner, assassin, dumbas
    Driving is mediocre at best. Balance on most of the cars are off, as well as traction that is mismatched. Guy who programmed the cars knows nothing about driving.
    The bikes sound like an angel humming you to sleep. Nothing better.
    2 hookers for the pervs who are asking.

    Game looks and plays great on mid tier hardware. It is a heavy resource user so low spec PCs will have issues playing at over 45fps.
    Still a lot of minor bugs and a few major ones.

    The Ending makes Mass Effect 3's ending look great...
    There are supposed to be 5 alternates. have tried 1 now and started skipping as fast as I could to get it over with. Lets hope I missed the good ones.    … Expand

    After playing this game twice now, I have come to the conclusion that it's one hell of a game. A very solid RPG, with incredibly well written stories and very well balanced gunplay. The world itself is like nothing I've seen in a game. A metropolitan city of towering buildings and dank slums, makes it one of the most atmospheric open world games I've ever played. After over 100 hours ofAfter playing this game twice now, I have come to the conclusion that it's one hell of a game. A very solid RPG, with incredibly well written stories and very well balanced gunplay. The world itself is like nothing I've seen in a game. A metropolitan city of towering buildings and dank slums, makes it one of the most atmospheric open world games I've ever played. After over 100 hours of gameplay, it's still a game that is breath-taking to look at. It's not without it's faults however. It's commonly known that it has a lot of bugs. These have been mostly corrected now and I have never experienced anything game breaking, thankfully. I understand that some people are annoyed by bugs or the game running badly on old machines. However, gaslighting the game and it's RPG elements, are one to ignore. Just go play this game for yourself and make your own mind up.… Expand

    I've seen many posts and videos about the bad optimization for PS4/Xbox, and I fully agree with those guys, but we all forgot one important thing - this was 2020, you know.
    Even the game launch was delayed, even the expectations were soo high, we should keep in mind, that    Before writing this review, I played CP2077 for approx. 25 hours, and should say that PC version is quite good.
    I've seen many posts and videos about the bad optimization for PS4/Xbox, and I fully agree with those guys, but we all forgot one important thing - this was 2020, you know.
    Even the game launch was delayed, even the expectations were soo high, we should keep in mind, that working on such big project is a huge challenge, especially during the covid stuff and remote work.

    Personally, I've seen some bugs even on the PC version, I also got FPS drops on RTX3080 - but the game isn't only the technical part - it's about the story. And the story is great. And the city is great (yeah, we know that it looks empty on consoles, but hope it will be fixed somehow in the upcoming patches). The quests are really interesting, and this is valid for side-stuff as well.
    It feels like Fallout & sometimes like my beloved Mass Effect, so just for those emotions I'll put 10/10 for the game, neglecting launch issues.
    Of course I would recommend to have the 1st experience on PC, because you have much more control over the settings, so you could get stable 30fps, or even 50-60 fps with a good quality.

    And just because the Witcher series was so cool, just because we've been waiting for so long, I could excuse technical issues and say congrats to CDPR for this great game - because that's what I'll be playing during the new year holidays :)    … Expand

    - The atmosphere. CD red did an amazing job on cyberpunk universe and I fell in love with Night City, with Badlands. Every detail about infrastructure, people, media is amazing. You really feel that the city and the world around you living.
    - Quests. Like as always, storytelling, side jobs and misc quests are its own kind of art.
    - Characters. I fell in love with story characters, Jackie, Takemura, Judy, Panam, Johnny, Victor and many others. You definitely getting attached to them through gameplay.
    - Gunfight, Hacking, Melee. In general - every aspect of that is 1010.
    - Story. This is a new universe that CD Projekt introduce us to. The main story tightly bounded with side quests and completing both main and side jobs make you understand the whole story that is happening around you.

    Well, now for the Cons:
    - Story. Again? Yes. As far as I can say, its short, bittersweet and felt rushed. Maybe it because I played 40 hours straight not having a decent sleep and was playing cyberpunk only. On the other way I felt like I was limited to my decisions, there was lack of more interesting outcomes in dire situations, yet I felt that tiny changes affects my run. Yet, I felt like guys wanted to add more to the story line, to the world but felt rushed.
    - Cops. Call me a party pooper, but I expected more from law authorities. Why they spawn right behind me when I kill a bystander? I really would like to see a bit of UX improvements with cops behavior.
    - AI (all AI). Sometimes AI does great, sometimes npcs acting dumb, but I think its inherited from previous games)). Enemy behavior is mostly: Get to coverrush you with a meleehack you if you are too farshoot from the coverstand right in front of you and shoot. Its acceptable. But I happend to see enemies tryin to shoot me through the wall, stairs or simply ignoring me and staring into the abyss.
    - Crafting, I dunno its purpose and it felt useless. but maybe it was for me only.

    Not the con, but: i really wanted to see more search quests like it was with notes, or hearing something from people like it was in witcher.

    THE MAIN REASON I WAS WRITING THIS REVIEW is not for the game as it is for gaming community and for the developers, and I hope you read it well.
    (yeah, yeah, we all know that but hear me out, you are gonna understand, specially if you are console player).
    Game is bugged and we know that. It's bugged cause we are rushed developers to release it, yet it would be bugged if it was given proper QA and one more year of development, but this is not a point. This is what happens when you try to rush a developer, and this is what happens when the guys who make calls for production, marketing, thinks its a great Idea to release game too early knowing that devs didnt finish it yet. Crunches, death threats, delays. And here is the result.

    Gamers, you cry that game is bugged? Well, its your problem. You all rushed it, now take it.
    Console players are crying cause their buckets of bolts cannot run next-gen game on ps4 or xOne? What you expect from a peace of gear from stone-age?
    I really hope you will understand that you are not entitled to even butthurt about it, cause you knew that it was not ready yet.

    Production company and whoever calls for release inside Projekt Red. Crunches, early release dates even when you knew that game is not ready? I really wanted to see game go TBA and be treated well but it seems you tried to put everything on marketing.

    Devs. You are the badass mfkers. My infinite thank you and respect for busting your asses to make this Art. I know that some time after, people will really appreciate this game and I know that you'll fix it and will make it even better. Cant wait to see what dlcs and multiplayer will look like.

    I haven’t experienced any game breaking glitches during my playtime. I have however experienced minor bugs but nothing serious. The main story and the side quest are great and interesting but the game combat and driving mechanics are not that great. I will like to see how CD Project Red expands on the game for the better just like they did with The Witcher 3.

    Playing on Xbox one and it’s absolutely ridiculous, I’ve lost count of how many times the frame rate drops to almost nothing or glitch through a wall or fall through the world. Seriously how does this happen when you spend an entire Console cycle producing a game that ends up taking a whole console generation to produce and start working on the next gen versions, just for the game to bePlaying on Xbox one and it’s absolutely ridiculous, I’ve lost count of how many times the frame rate drops to almost nothing or glitch through a wall or fall through the world. Seriously how does this happen when you spend an entire Console cycle producing a game that ends up taking a whole console generation to produce and start working on the next gen versions, just for the game to be unplayable on the console you originally started making the game for in the first place.… Expand

    Thoroughly enjoyed it, got everything I could possibly want, playing this for hours, haven’t seen many bugs on pc but some pop up here and there, doesn’t bother me much though and I can’t wait to see what improvements they add, but I’m pretty much well above satisfied.

    Good story telling, nice side quests, graphics are ok but bad optimized.
    Main con is too many bugs even though you can reload the game to keep playing, but they are still very annoying. Sometimes you just cannot ignore them and it feels pretty bad.
    Hope CDPR can fix these bugs before DLCs.

    Let's start with the obvious. This game should have been delayed for at least a couple more months, though I understand this was not a possibility due to investors and other variables. The game is very buggy, with plenty of visual bugs, poor performance on lower-end machines, and crashes. This game was originally set to release in April of 2020. I have absolutely no idea what executive orLet's start with the obvious. This game should have been delayed for at least a couple more months, though I understand this was not a possibility due to investors and other variables. The game is very buggy, with plenty of visual bugs, poor performance on lower-end machines, and crashes. This game was originally set to release in April of 2020. I have absolutely no idea what executive or who thought this game would be ready by then. I can't even imagine how buggy the game was 8 months ago. While CDPR has a great track record with fixing bugs after release, we cannot allow "release now fix later" to become the standard for game studios. In a couple months most of the issues will be fixed, and performance will be better but that's not the point.

    While this is a PC review, the blatant dishonesty by CDPR executives and marketing is inexcusable and can not be ignored. I do not see how people are defending them and making excuses for them. Not giving reviewers console codes, not showing base PS4 or Xbox One gameplay, and lying to investors saying base console performance is "surprisingly good" is ridiculous. If they would have been honest, came out and said the game wasn't ready for release, and performance on base consoles wasn't good but will be fixed, people would still have been mad but a lot of people would've respected the honesty. But they didn't do that.

    Looking past the bugs, the game is good. Gunplay is fine for an RPG, better than expected but still just average. RPG systems are average. There is not much depth in the perk system. Driving is just fine. The menu and keybinds for certain actions are clunky. Instead of using the industry-standard key for interacting with objects as E, they decided to use F and it can't be changed. The crouch key and skip dialogue key are both set to C by default. There are a lot of quality of life features I assume will be implemented in future updates.

    You would think that since you can summon your vehicles to you with the press of the button that there would be some kind of autopilot to destination feature that would allow you to take in the beauty of the city. This isn't the case though. I assume this is because of the poor driving AI. NPC drivers will often get stuck at crosswalks and have poor situational awareness. I would have liked to see this feature so I could enjoy the city. While on PC crowd density can be set to high, and comes very close to the 2018 gameplay trailer in levels of density, upon further look you see it comes at a cost. They look great from afar but walk among them and you'll realize they're just soulless robots with no awareness, far from the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2s NPCs (RDR2). The civilian AI & wanted/police system is a joke. Attack a civilian and instead of running or fighting back they just sit in a fetal position indefinitely. Police will spawn out of nowhere. All you have to do is run down the street and they'll forget about you. Rockstar has been doing it better than this for years. In RDR2 entire sections of the map will have a bounty for you and people will even come after you to claim that bounty. Lack of impact is very jarring in comparison to games like RDR2 & Fallout New Vegas (released 10 years ago and only took 18 months to develop) where there's an entire reputation system.

    Voice acting for most characters is good, not as good as the Witcher 3. This is a personal preference but the male voice actor for V is just not good. It's often over the top and lacks range/emotion. This could be to the direction he was given, but that idea falls apart because the female voice actor is much better. His voice is more suited for a side character, not a leading protagonist. I'd recommend using the feminine voice option even if you don't typically play feminine characters. I wasn't a fan of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. I do not feel his voice matches the character. This is also pretty subjective and he was still a highlight of the game for me.

    The graphics on PC max settings are phenomenal. This is truly our first look at what a next-gen open-world game can be. Unfortunately only top of the line hardware will get you this experience. Even then, on high or medium settings the game still looks good enough (ON PC).

    The game pulls a Last of Us Part II and kills off a character that you barely get time to connect with. It then has the audacity to have an entire funeral quest dedicated to this character you barely spent 2 hours with. There are a few sentences of dialogue that tell you a little about the character and their desires and then boom they're dead.

    The story took a while to hook me. I assume most people won't even make it far into the story because of the issues listed above. It's ok. It's not the best story ever told but it's also not the worst. I liked Witcher 3's more. It tackles the ideas from the Cyberpunk genre well. More needs to be said but I'm at my character limit so that's it.    … Expand

    As soon as they fix the bugs, it's gonna be perfect. You know what else was buggy AF at launch? That minor title called The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
    Ignore the ones crying about their 8 y.o. consoles not being able to run it as smoothly as your rig with RTX 20 or 30 series GPUs.

    In my opinion this game is everything that was promised and more.

    I forgave CYBERPUNK 2077 a lot: 40fps, blurry image, monotonous sweeps, stupid artificial intelligence, small bugs, but CDPR's request not to collect or create inventory, for the sake of a stable game, put an end to my patience. Interesting characters and plot no longer save the game. Extremely crude project.

    If you bought this game on console, you got your money stolen. If you have a base model PS4 or XBOX One you're screwed, as the game can dip to 15 fps. It's unplayable, and it's just unbelievable that it happened this way knowing CD PR. I feel betrayed.

    Story and sidestory are in some cases top notch. Gameplay is mediocre. Bugs are still there, a ton of them (1.22). Luckily there is nexusmods for PC users. Night City sadly feels a little empty and there is SO SO much unused potential. Will edit my rating when there's been further patches and DLC.

Cyberpunk definitely delivers in this regards, I'm a little over 20 hours in and the Main Quests, Side Quests, and characters are just what I was expecting from the writing team. Once we dive deeper in, however, we start to notice cracks. Yes, there are bugs... a lot of bugs. I'm playing on a higher end PC so i've only experienced a handful (none of them game breaking) but I acknowledge the fact that some PC and console players are having a difficult time getting into the game because of all the bugs. Honestly, this was the case with The Witcher 3's launch. The only difference is that our standards for videogames have gone up some. When we buy a game, we expect it to be finished. Despite this, I have no doubt that CDPR will fix this game over the next few months to make the game that they want. With that said, the launch is pretty disappointing.

    But I'm not disappointed with the actual game by any means. The game I'm playing is the one that I expected and hoped for. I wasn't expecting a fully dynamic city where each NPC has unscripted routines and personalities (i've learnt from Bethesda that stuff like that just wont happen). I wasn't expecting incredible gun play that would revolutionize all of gaming. I wasn't expecting driving mechanics that top GTA or an open world feel that could rival RD2. I WAS expecting an immersive RPG set in the Cyberpunk universe that delivers an incredible narrative and story, with in game choices that allowed me to play the story the way I want so that everyone could have a unique experience.     And I think a score of 6.5 for the current game makes more sense.
    However, I have hopes that I can get more from this game in the future.

    Good main story and side missions, but there is also not much to do in night city except follow the story, loot and shoot.

I was a little skeptical for this game, for the big hype but I can confirm after playing this game for enough hours, that this game is so good, the story is like a movie, gives you emotions and that's what i'm looking for, when i play a RPG.     cyberpunk ist leider einfach unfertig. im einen moment staunt man über die grafik. im nächsten lacht man über lächerliche animationen.

    die welt wirkt leider wie eine leere hülle. "next level of open world" am arsch.

    gta 3 hatte in diesem fall mehr zu bieten. performance schwankt auch auf einem leistungsfähigen pc. es tut weh zu sehen, wie viel potential einfach liegen gelassen wurde. noch mehr schmerzt es zu sehen was cdpr im vorfeld versprochen und dann nicht gehalten hat. wir wurden schlichtweg belogen.    … Expand

    My heart broke when I saw the situation this game is in. From the staggering amount of bugs and glitches to general lack of polish.

    The game also severely lacks any meaningful features in gameplay, gun fighting is always the main focus and other methods of play come second.

    A lot of this game's features are just meaningless fluff, crafting is useless and armors makes not sense.

    게임 자체는 우려에 비해 좋았음. 스토리, OST는 상당히 만족하였고, 플레이어를 스토리에 끌어들이는 몰입감 또한 준수함. 다만 이 몰입감을 망치는 요소들이 상당히 많음. 수많은 버그, 수많은 재활용이 몰입감을 해침.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
