    I'm 12-15 hours into the game, and I'm yet to see a bug, at least one that has any effect on anything. I'm not sure what these people are talking about, or how honest they are in their opinions. My best guess is that they are console peasants and the game doesn't run well on their PS4/Xbox, so they are taking their frustration on everything else and are rating the PC version, even thoughI'm 12-15 hours into the game, and I'm yet to see a bug, at least one that has any effect on anything. I'm not sure what these people are talking about, or how honest they are in their opinions. My best guess is that they are console peasants and the game doesn't run well on their PS4/Xbox, so they are taking their frustration on everything else and are rating the PC version, even though they shouldn't. I sympathize, but on the other hand I'm happy that CDPR haven't downgraded the game for Consoles. Consoles have held back games already long enough. So if you are already familiar with Cyberpunk and want to decide whether to buy or not, don't fall for this tsunami of ****. Buy if you have a good PC, wait if you are on consoles, especially if you have a last gen console. But to the game itself. Let's begin by it's strongest aspect: The atmosphere is INTENSE. It's unlike anything I have seen in 25 years of gaming. The way CDPR conveys the anxiety of the Night City is phenomenal .You are not given a moment of peace. You can see and feel the mental severity of the world everywhere. It's truly a mad environment. The story so far is very engaging, but I don't want to talk much about it because 1. I want to avoid spoilers 2. I want to finish the game first. Gameplaywise, Cyberpunk 2077 is nothing short of what I expected. The shooting element is refined and has weight. I play on hard difficulty and I need to always be on my toes. I need more time with the RPG system to form an opinion, but based on how great everything else is, I suspect it will be satisfactory as well.… Expand

    Thanks a lot. 10 years of 10. 10/10 npc's movements. 10/10 visual difference between any type of setting. 10/10 vertical sync ( choose your monitor refresh rate 144/240)

    Игра Киберпанк 2077 прекратила свою работу. Это всё, что я видел с момента её выхода. Просто самый лучший геймплей. Может быть разработчики решили скрыть баги просто не давая мне поиграть в игру?

    Хорошая игра насыщенная деталями, с ультра приятной графикой и хорошо прописаными персонажами, очередной качественный продукт от поляков. Всем консольщикам терпения, а я пошел играть дальше на пк и радоваться жизни.

    Если закрыть глаза на баги и "оптимизацию" (и, конечно, туповатых нпс), то это для меня крепкая девятка. Балл снять можно за то, что не сделали многого из того, что должно было быть. В остальном это уж точно лучшее, во что я играл за последнее время.     The review is after the 1.0.0.4 patch!
    The graphics are outstanding, the world and the npcs are looking gold.
    The story is beautiful, it even made me cry at 2 points. The sidequests are written good and even a quest with a car made me cry.
    I just want to say that this game is outstanding

    You literally can't buy consumer hardware to run this game at max settings on 4k at 60fps. With a 9900k and 2080 super I play on 1440, RT med, any texture settings ultra, and shadows on med/high. DLSS helps to get around 80 fps. How in the world would you think a $300 all in one console could run this game. Again, the the only mistake CDPR made was releasing it on last gen consoles. I haven't played a console since Genesis, so I don't know how it runs. But all in all this is one of the best game I've ever played. The amount of customization is staggering. And it cost 1m$ to respec. Finally! A game that doesn't hold your hand. You do you! You guys are legends!!!!!!!

    But unfortunately this is why we can't have nice things.....What other companies are willing to spend this much time on a masterpiece like this. When they can COD it, and release the same thing year after year making hand over fist of cash. Companies like CDPR are what will prevent another video game crash.    … Expand

    The greatest dissapointment in gaming history. (Coming from die hard Witcher trilogy fanboy from Poland, who played all three games couple of times. I'm just sad.

    Unplayable. So many bugs, can't list them. Story isn't varied, only one playthrough possible. Deserves the 6.5 it gets because even my RTX card gets 30 frames on ultra. Disgrace.

    After years of development we finally got the Cyberpunk. Promise of fully immersive game, full of influential choices, with many side activities and complex character customization. You will trully feel immersed in some quests (mostly main quests) by the set-up, NPCs appearances, story and by some links to other quests or NPC. However most of those cool looking quests youve probably saw already in gameplay videos. Side quests are ok so far (about 15+ hours in game) but not so unique as they were in Witcher 3. Probably the worst part of the Cyberpunk is its immersion beside the quests. The city feels boring if you expect some sandbox type of the game. City doesnt even feel like another entity with its own rules. It just seems like shiny but empty terrarium. If you feel like the city and all side activities should be just coulisse to the main story line, then you wont be so disappointed. If you feel like side activites should help you tie up with your character, NPC and whole lore and they help your immersion then probably you will end up dissapointed. Thats the review not about the technical state of the game but about something what we would expect that is the main domain of CDPR. Another parts of the game that were poorly developed (or not at all) would probably be: bad NPC AI, really weird wanted system, lack of some promised mechanics such as car/appartment customization, wall running (I didnt expect this to be a thing to be fair), story choices and their impact on game feels flat...
    Another issue is optimization, bugs, glitches, downgrade, etc. And youre gonna find a lot of bugs in this game. Probably first bug I saw even started at character creation when I saw in my localized copy parts of the XML tags. Another common bugs are NPC, cards and objects are randomly spawning, exploding. Enemies sometimes just stop shooting at you and they just turn around and act like theres not a psycho with a katana behind them that was slashing through the whole building like it was full of Pinatas. Youre gonna encounter bugs like this all the time, and if you play on old gen console you will also feel those fps drops. A lot.
    If you wanna enjoy this game same as I do, I would give you some tips. Dont play it on old gen consoles. If possible wait for some more patches to come, or next gen upgrade. Dont overhype-youself. Dont look actively for bugs, poor textures or daily NPC routines. Tell yourself that some of the bugs, glitches are actually glitches of your old kyberware. Never-ever ride the car on the sidewalk. People will spawn out of nowhere and instead of doing quest you will end up as the worst mass murderer in history of Night City. Do main and some sidde quests and ignore side activites such as NCPD quests, bounties, etc. They are a bit repetitive and might ruin the immersion for you (if randomly exploding cars already didnt). I have high hopes for CDPR to polish this game in next patches, same as they did with Witcher 3. However even without any bugs or glitches I would rate the game as a 9 (must play for gamers) and not a 10 because of lack of some promises. In current state of the game I would say 7-8 our of 10 would be the better mark.    … Expand

    Bought this game without any expectations.
    After 30 hours of amazing story a love this game.
    There are graphical glitches but a didn't get any problem with gameplay.
    My ryzen 5 2600 and geforce rtx 2060 give me about all ultra setting (without rtx and dlss) and this is awesome

Si claro, el juego no es lo que prometieron y los pcerdos son los mas complacientes con lo que sea, no trae multi lenguaje, solo un asqueroso doblaje en españa intolerable para cualquier odio que no sea gallego, bajones de frame la historia principal es aburrida y las misiones secundarias son algo mas entretenidas, se supone que siempre es al reves bravo por hacer algo peor

Дальше они патчат игру и все круто) хватит уже гнать на студию. Игра удалась, залипаю в нее уже два дня. А это того стоит. В последний раз так держал только ведьмак 3 . The game has few let downs - graphic bugs, mechanics could be better and the optimisation is not there - but I have good enough PC to play it on almost ultra with ray tracing and no fps drops.     Bug as hell yes, but the potential its crazy. You will feel inside the world like no other. Avoid last-gen releases until half of the next year. Pc its the way to go. If it is this good with bugs just imagine when its all patch up

    Gun combat is laughable, Soldier of Fortume 2 Double Helix had better physics nearly 20 years ago on PC.

    Car driving is near impossible.

    I found to my amazment, it was quicker to walk around the city than drive as the frame rate suffered so much while driving vehicles.

    Holywood created the storyline, but the game play is garbage.

    It is an interactive movie, not a game.

    Requested a refund from Steam, but sadly, went over 2 hours game play in testing and hoping my early perceptions of the film were mistaken.

    Amassed over 500 hours on Witcher 3, but lost interest after just 12 hours on Cyberpunk.

    Not sure where the 90% Metacritic score came from, please enlighten us?    … Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 jest dobrą grą mimo błędów jakie posiada w moim odczuciu jest ich mało (ps4 pro) ale dalej są. Ale wszystko jest do zrobienia.

(кстати, даже шум ветра на этой самой вышке и скрип металла, как впрочем и то, что все качается на ветру,Двоякие чувства, да, это те самые разработчики (CD PROJEKT RED) которые подарили нам трилогию Ведьмак (The Witcher) но, 8 лет ожиданий, с мая 2012 года, предстали не в лучшем свете, несколько переносов и все равно игра сырая, в первой же миссии баг, после вышки ( привет Far Cry...) (кстати, даже шум ветра на этой самой вышке и скрип металла, как впрочем и то, что все качается на ветру, просто копия фар край), нужно было отправиться к фургончику (трейлер, дом на колесах) где нас уже давно ждет нпс..... он берет коробку и выносит ее через дверь (что логично) к машине, но.... часть коробки осталась в дверном проеме.... о боже мой..... управление автомобилем, это вообще отдельная тема, невозможно ехать по прямой, она просто не управляется, в частности имею ввиду повороты, ужасно просто, пока ничего не понятно ( напоминает Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) FPS... RTX 2080 и 30-35 кадров??? браво.....оптимизация на высочайшем уровне, такое ощущение что пейзажи, если смотреть в даль, просто нарисованы..... тут не идет речь что это игра десятилетия или игра года, совсем не так, сырой продукт, который должен был выйти, в идеале, хотя бы в 2021 году, и то, не уверен что его это спасло бы, открытый мир? как бы не так, если вы решили покататься, чуть дальше, дороги, или сюжетной линии, вас ожидает черный экран и перенос на предыдущее место! как так??? печальное зрелище, а диалог, озвучка главного героя ( я так понию озвучивает этого "Ви" Кирилл Плетнев, Российский актер, более известный по ролям, Алексея Бобрикова, из фильмов Диверсант.... все настолько наиграно, слышно и видно что он тупо читает текст, без души, вот именно, игра просто без души, 8 лет разработки не увенчались успехом.... позор
    Непонятный сюжет, запутанная игра, везде вас яко бы давно ждут игровые нпс, люди попадаются случайно, откуда они все берутся, Ведьмак 3 дикая охота, действительно шедевр, по сравнению с этим "продуктом" такое впечатление что все 8 лет разработчики ковыряли в носу, игра создана по типу, а давайте это впихнем.... и сойдет.... даже не удосужились прислушаться к тестировщикам, которые 100% видели все эти баги, ну а вдруг прокатит и пользователи схавают....
    Кастомизация, тут они постарались, выбор вагины и пениса, пожалуй это самое главное в игре "AAA" класса....За вполне приятной оболочкой (визуально, игра симпатичная) скрывается неуважительное отношение компании (CD PROJEKT RED) как к себе, так и к игрокам и инвесторам проекта....
    Не ожидал такого, честно.....
    Амбиции были через край, на деле, как обычно.... поторопились с релизом.
    Я перестал уважать CD PROJEKT RED после увиденного мной.
    А ведь они планируют Ведьмак 4 в 2025-2026 году.... о мой бог, не стоит даже начинать создавать такое, не портите впечатление о предыдушей трилогии.    … Expand

After 30 hours of painful gameplay it just bugged and all memory got wiped and now if i wanted to continue i would have to play the whole buggy game again. DONT BUY IT YET OR EVER IF IT ISNT FIXED PC OR CONSOLE.

    this game looks like trash in the consoles, and the fact that anger me is tha the CDPR promised so many things, and end it doing nothing. "the game runs surprisingly well on base console", they promised a intelligent ia but its worse than gta V, the protagonist, V, is just a nothing in the game, and i dont fell i am in night city because of this crappy character. im very disapointed.

    By far it's biggest issue is the discrepancy of features promised by CDPR and features actually implemented in the game. The ubiquitously hyped "life path system" practically doesn't exist and the often teased aspect of player choice is mostly limited to the last mission. Another serious shortcoming is the game's open world design. Despite being large and always having something going on, the player can interact with hardly anything present. There is next to no object continuity and believability suffers greatly from a lack of depth. So, somewhat ironically, this vast, busy open world ends up feeling lifeless, artificial and empty. I could go on and on talking about the games shortcomings, because they are plenty. The lackluster combat, rng elements, uninspired story and abysmal technical state are just a few of them. Honestly the only commendation would go to Keanu Reeves, who manages to pull off one of the most nuanced and straight up badass sidekick characters of video game history.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm not really sure everyone who gave this game a top rating isn't either being paid by CDPR to do so, or haven't played the whole game yet... The "seven different endings" are actually only two endings with different flavors. The game's protagonist is not V, it's Silverhand, and you are but a passenger on his trip. There's none of that "interactivity" they claimed. Your choices don't matter for the main plot. They said your choices would affect the main story as you take them, yet apart from changing a couple dialog lines and the initial 20 minutes of gameplay, your origin story doesn't do zilch. The romances are but a single quest that end on V getting on her/his lover's pants - afterwards you don't even have a dialogue with them apart from some random blue lines. And to top it all, no matter what choices you do, or what kind of V you roleplay or whatever, you always end up dying and all you can decide is whether Silverhand lives on or dies...… Expand

    Мертворождённая игра, без какого-либо потенциала. В ней даже на уровне программного кода просто НЕТ ничего, что могло бы вытянуть её из этой беспросветной.... ямы.

    Maybe y'all should try running this on some actually decent hardware and not expect the new game to run >60fps on your sorry ass 10yo Fx8350.

    Sure the game might feel overwhelming at first and it suffers from what I call Borderlands quests effect (too many quests and things to do given to you at once. But the characters are deep and well written and most of the quests feel immersive.

    The game isn't perfect, but it's not at all bad either. Next time CDPR ignore the "fans" and release only when ready. It's better to let the hype train die a bit than to let it eat you alive. 8/10    … Expand

The gunplay is meh.. i feel like playing fallout new vegas again but in a bad way. I found myself shooting the smart guns, beacause u don't even need to aim which is a fantastic thing. The hacking feels fresh at the start and kinda fun to use, BUT later it just feels like a side fun thing which leaks effectivness. I had more fun with that in Watch Dogs... Don't even start with the skill tree. At the start it looks fcking amazing with a lot of options, then u start to feel like u are playing Path Of Exile. Overall opinion: The hype killed the game honestly. I waited 7 years for this game i even bought the special edition, i was not on the hype train, i just wanted this game to be a solid 8...… Expand

Sprawling, captivating world, huge, incredibly detailed city which isIt took me a lot of time to prepare mentally for this review. I was struggling with my own experience and the reviews and reddit comments and complaints about the game. Ultimately - Cyberpunk 2077 is a game of a constant emotional rollercoaster, a true game of the decade, a storyline masterpiece with a decent gameplay. Sprawling, captivating world, huge, incredibly detailed city which is amazing and overwhelming at the same time, looking at your every move, judging your every dialog choice. As Linus from LTT said „this is a good looking game” and It is, fantastic and breathtaking graphics - with the requirement of having a high end PC (which I’m glad it is like that! I’d sacrifice PS4 and XBO performance anytime for such a technological advancement. It’s called moving with the times - I’m sure there were many games you couldn’t play because of your outdated hardware; this is such a game and It should be If It’s supposed to be remembered). Anyone who says that this game looks like the characters are made from plastic should get a pair of new glasses, It just isn’t the case. Insane and incredibly detailed character animations, facial expressions and camera play during dialogues with proper shadows and subsurface scattering makes the characters of the game very believable. A lot of one-time-encounter characters are made with such a detail making most of other games main characters look like Lara Croft from the 1996 Tomb Raider. Please keep in mind the fact that if the developers focused more on 6 to 7 year old consoles, the game graphics would be on an entirely different level. But getting back to the point, I think CDPR has done it again, and has set a new standard for RPG’s and immersive storylines. The game is filled to the brink with content. Countless side missions that are so detailed, you sometimes need a reminder that It’s a side mission and not a story mission. The best story I have ever had in a video game, combined with unmatched graphics and I’m past the 70 hour mark, with three endings finished back at the beginning of the game smashing through all of the side quests and points of interest still wanting more. The storytelling is just unbelievably good. Someone is lying to you? Certainly won’t look you in the eyes. Nervous about a huge score? Will develop a shaking leg tics or hold his/her purse nervously. The combat system is OK, It’s not the most refined system in the world If I’m honest, but It is satisfying and entertaining, the crafting and perk system might need some refinement but once you unlock some perks the gameplay opens up and gives you a lot of opportunities to shine and do some cool flashy stuff. The thing I was the most worried about was vehicle mechanics, the trailers showed unpromising and clunky driving almost as all of the cars had tires made out of wood. The final product is …not perfect but definitely acceptable and enjoyable - I find it a lot better than GTA V for example (the cars have some sort of suspension at least). My initial impression was like 9/10, a solid game with some issues and a problematic rushed launch. But as the game opened up, my V started being a real skilled merc, not just a person with a gun and I started being flooded with feelings and emotions portrayed by every single actor together with the game’s dense and climatic OST I said to myself that this game has to be a solid 10/10 and nothing less. I think It’s one of the best games ever made, surely It has Its issues but in Its genre and from what I was expecting from CDPR - a masterpiece, breathtaking and emotional storyline with awesome characters and deep backstory It is a real industry changer. Waiting patiently with a bag of popcorn for other companies to copy. I’m also sure that CDPR will deliver and patch the games performance, gameplay systems and UI just as they did with The Witcher 3 - please just wait. If you enjoy open world RPGs with immersive and emotional storylines, then this game is certainly for you. Objectively for anyone to rate the game with 0 is just pure hate. Creating long feature lists comparing the game systems to Rockstar’s RDR2 is also pure hate and meaningless. Don’t listen to that, skip the reddit posts (which btw. as of 26th December stopped being pure hate and actually appreciate the game) and just enjoy what the game has to offer, don’t let them ruin your experience and please see It for yourself. Every game is buggy, and Cyberpunk is definitely playable and enjoyable with Its bugs. Enjoy your Christmas.… Expand

    Romance novels that end abruptly after famous scenes. Where is the continuation of the relationship? There are only 2-3 text messages after and a conversation at the end. In other cases, your loved one stands as a pillar with 3 non-changing options in the selection dialog. That is all.
    These are just a few points that have holes in the main plot. Not to mention the cut-out and much-needed in-game options that are obvious. And also about the lie of the developers that the game is made in the first person, because it is more exciting. What nonsense! And as it turned out, they just didn't draw a character with a third-person view. So they came up with this lie.
    I put the cons of the game exactly for the lies that were before the game was released and after. And also for what was done quickly and on the principle of"getting away with it". There were too many empty promises and false PR.    … Expand

    I'm confused why people say it's bad. I'm about 15 hours in on Xbox Series X and it's absolutely stunning! The world is HUGE and varied and beautiful with INSANE details and characters. The music and atmosphere are top notch and feel badass. It's also very challenging and has a lot of skills and mechanics to learn. I absolutely love this game. If you're a sophisticated gamer who likesI'm confused why people say it's bad. I'm about 15 hours in on Xbox Series X and it's absolutely stunning! The world is HUGE and varied and beautiful with INSANE details and characters. The music and atmosphere are top notch and feel badass. It's also very challenging and has a lot of skills and mechanics to learn. I absolutely love this game.     Game is fine really not amazing but not completely unplayable. The biggest problem with the game is the fact that the devs and PR/advertising department at CDPR lied about how much stuff was included/cut from the game. I think the addition of Johnny Silverhand meant they had to go back and re-write a bunch of stuff that was already finished

    Garbage is not enough to describe this thing. Came to play but instead had too watch a movie. Too much Dialog too much unnecessary things. Upgrade system is terrible. If you have no life then this is the game for you. If we wanted to see a movie there is Netflix . Wtf were they thinking

Want to make love to your virtual gf or bf well they are nude as the day they were born look down and your in undies. Traumatic exp followed by a shower, well V now showers in her underwear.     You can't rebind your controls as so many are hard locked. The game looks awful, it's incredibly blurry as FXAA / TAA seems to be forced on with no way to disable, along with a ton of pop in. This is both trying on high and medium presets, it also runs terrible for how it looks. GTA 4 looks better.

    The open world is dead. You actually cant do anything besides the quests. Where is braindance? You get the item for using it and you can buy BDs, but you cant play them.
    Your actions doesn't have an impact to the world (police won't chase you, you can't do anything in your appartement, can't mod cars, no minigames).

    CDPR promised an open-world RPG. But it's not that. It's a dead, empty world.

    Good game long-build from 2012 announcement) Yes it's a lot of game and exciting time and good game. 8/10 But I think all the small details will be refined as a game world of hobbies!

    I think I would be able to enjoy this game, if it at least launched. I can not start the game i bought, spent whole day downloading this and few hours of trying to simply start the game, unbelievable rubbish

Sure, you can see the underlying potential of the narrative and gameplay, but despite glimmers of excellence, this game sucks **** ass. Terrible glitches, requiring me to edit the code of the .exe to get past the prologue, broken saves, glitches in every single screenshot of the game. Truly just **** It's funny that it satirizes late capitalism while being an example of late cap at the same time. It might be playable in 6 months, I'll update my review then.… Expand

Oblivion has better npc and open world than this **** 2005 total overdose have better shooting mechanic than this **** Overall so fcking **** rubbish as **** world feels so empty and **** 1997 have better leveling system than this rubbish

    A good game, an open-world adventure shooter with soft RPG qualities. Not as imersive and refined as it was promised. I think after several patches and DLCs should achieve what is promised. This is what happens when money is more important than the product.

    Loved story, characters and looks if the world, hated messy UI, notisable amount of bugs and decision to make it 3-rd person. Overall pretty good game, hopefully CDPR will deal with bugs an PR nightmare, ans start making dlc. I would definitely want to spend more time in NC.

    At the moment, its like GTA 5 locked in first person, but with less freedom. The quests are Bethesda-tier in terms of how they are laid out and how enjoyable they are, but there arent enough to really give the game substance, and if you are playing it for sidequests and stuff like that, then go pick up a Bethesda game instead. There isn't a good reason to pay $60 for something as mediocre as CP2077. Maybe if it goes on sale for 20-30 dollars, then yeah, but you can get far better games for a quarter of the price.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
