    It's a good game, though it is light on the RPG side of things and heaving on the bugs. It's fun and has an engaging story, but this isn't going to by Cyberpunk 2020 but as First Person CRPG.

    Best Pc exclusive i ever played. Totally worth it 60 euro 10/10. Would buy it again on console, but I am not a pleb I have non.

    Let's be honest, the launch of this game was a disaster. I've had it since day 1 but decided to wait for a few patches. So far I absolutely love it.

    Estou próximos as 10 horas de jogo e após o segundo update as coisas estão melhores em relação aos bugs. Quanto ao jogo em si estou me divertindo bastante, e por mais que estivesse aguardando o lançamento nunca fui de ficar criando muita expectativa em cima de jogos. Eu simplesmente estava aguardando com base no último trabalho deles em the witcher 3.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am sorry for the people who bought this game with a bad pc or old gen consoles, and the people who have experienced a lot of bugs. That being said I have now played for 40hours and this is my summary of the experience. This game is amazing, and I seem to be fortunate, since I've only experienced very minor bugs, and it runs like a dream on my 5 year old setup (1080gtx, 4970k OC, and g-sync screen). Story, both main and side quests, are well written with deep and believable characters who develop during the game. Gameolay mechanics are great with many options that are viable (hack, melee, stealth, crafting, sniper with many perks supporting it). RPG elements are great with good choices for role playing. Voice acting and face/body sync is the best I have ever seen in a game, which gives life to the characters in a remarkable way. There is also a lot of references that require understanding in psychology, technology and philosophy in the game, which will be missed by many, most likely younger players who are not yet well read. All in all.
    Story/characters/depth: 10/10.
    Graphics (on a good system): 10/10
    Music: 9/10
    Gameplay and mechanics (combat, crafting, motor vehicles): 10/10
    Immersion/world building: 10/10.

    t seems some people are very upset. This is their right, and it would probably have been better if the game was released in 6 months instead of this December, but cdprojekt red have shareholders who forced the release. And they should have made it only next gen/pc. But the bugs will be fixed and the mods are coming. For me this is an extremely pleasure able experience, and the game is a mix of GTA V, Fallout/Skyrim, Witcher 3, bladerunner/Deus ex, and half life (deep memorable characters), taking the best of all of them and combining them to something truly memorable.
    Final score frome me: 9.8 ( -0.2 for minor bugs/glitches). People will play and enjoy this game many years from now.

    Update: Finished the game now, and did most side quests after 70 hours. Amazing.    … Expand

    Что можно сказать после прохождения игры на максимум кроме покупок машин, из минусов: это и близко не Ведьмак по атмосфере и нарративу, техническое состояние ужасное, игра должна была делаться еще как минимум полгода, человек назначивший такую дату выхода должен быть уволен и посажен, слишком много неинтересных побочек, лута и записок от чего игра становится похожей на игру от Юбисофт. ИзЧто можно сказать после прохождения игры на максимум кроме покупок машин, из минусов: это и близко не Ведьмак по атмосфере и нарративу, техническое состояние ужасное, игра должна была делаться еще как минимум полгода, человек назначивший такую дату выхода должен быть уволен и посажен, слишком много неинтересных побочек, лута и записок от чего игра становится похожей на игру от Юбисофт. Из плюсов: хороший центральный сюжет+ некоторые сайды, интересно раскрытые персонажи и постановки сцен в купе с хорошей графикой и небольшой вариативностью целиком вытаскивают игру. Если бы игра вышла в готовом виде, в ней вырезали бы лутер-гринд элементы и добавили больше качественных сюжетных/ сайд миссий игра вышла бы отличная, а так игра вышла крайне скомканая и обрезанная, но всё же конёк СД проджектов нарратив+персонажи их в целом вытаскивают и игра оставляет положительные эмоции, но и больше 7 баллов поставить рука не поднимется.
    P.S. Если проходили с рашн озвучкой смело минусуйте еще 3-4 балла за уничтоженную актерскую игру и персонажей    … Expand

    I can understand people's anger toward the game, and I don't blame them. Everyone had ridiculous expectations that there was no way the game could fill. Even still, this game is amazing, but not in the way that the witcher was. This game feels like more of an evolution of skyrim's key gameplay loops than the witcher . It succeeds in it's massive, open world. It has phenomenal gameplay andI can understand people's anger toward the game, and I don't blame them. Everyone had ridiculous expectations that there was no way the game could fill. Even still, this game is amazing, but not in the way that the witcher was. This game feels like more of an evolution of skyrim's key gameplay loops than the witcher . It succeeds in it's massive, open world. It has phenomenal gameplay and rewarding exploration, but the overall writing is a mixed bag. I'd say that the main quest writing often feels like too little has happened for any importance to exist: the exact opposite of the issue of the witcher 3-- being too long. Now should the bugs be forgiven? Maybe. People forgave skyrim and fallout 4 for the states those were in (and still are without mods), yet CDPR is actually working and fixing many of these bugs already within the first week. Just like the witcher 3 had extensive support throughout the years, I expect this game will get even better as it ages. It's not the overwhelming masterpiece that everyone wanted, nor does it really take a definitive stance on many cyberpunk related questions, but what it does do is show us small glimpses of humanity in a city practically devoid of it.… Expand

    This game is amazing. Open world is alive, graphics fantastic and plot is very good too. I thought this game gonna be absolute worst, but im relaxed, played this game, and its very VERY good.

    Average game that has the potential to be a very good game. A beautiful city that is densely populated with puppets that get lost in their own paths or play the same scenes all the time. Boring, repetitive side quests. Tasks for fixers: clear the location of gang members. Tasks for the NCPD: clear the location of gang members. Most of the side quests follow the same pattern. Кибербрух повторил судьбу ведьмака, это и не экшн, и не рпг, а просто посредственная игра для массового потребителя, которая за счёт казуалов и выстрелила. Я знаю, что своим обзором опять накличу на себя кучу адептов CDPR и они вновь будут добавляться ко мне в друзья и просить выйти 1 на 1, но я готов пойти на эти жертвы ради истины.     To keep it very short: I like some parts of the game, while I strongly dislike others. Other reviews keep talking about the technical issues and bugs that the game is experiencing currently. Those issues are not what concerns me, issues like these will be surely fixed by CDPR. What concerns me the most is how disappointing the game actually is. To be 100% clear, I was very sceptical aboutTo keep it very short: I like some parts of the game, while I strongly dislike others. What concerns me the most is how disappointing the game actually is. To be 100% clear, I was very sceptical about CB, what I saw from the gameplay was nothing I have never seen before, I personally did not see any innovation in the RPG genre. So I thought that there was no way I would be disappointed with the game, yet here I am writing my first ever review. After playing through the game, I can see the potential of it, I can see the potential of the story, and the overall craftmanship. What I cannot see, is the RP in RPG. If this was just a FPS then fine, but this is not just an FPS, this is an RPG. And I feel disappointed by how shallow the RP is.
    As I already stated, I did not have high expectations, but I at least expected an above average RPG, but I do not consider CB to be above average when it comes to the RPG aspects. Skill tree is disappointing, there is very little actual "Skill" in it, just stat boosters.
    NPCs are straight up terrible, terrible AI which is even NONEXISTENT at times, like drivers for example. None of the NPCs feel alive, none of them feel like actual people, which is the main purpose of NPCs. The actual characters that you get to meat are great, no complaint there, but the average Joe walking around Night City is just a lifeless corpse. There is absolutely no comparison between the NPCs here, and NPCs in GTA V or even Witcher 3.
    Romance is another big part of RPGs for some people, and it is disappointing in CB. Romance options are locked to your gender and sexual orientation. Romance dialogue feels way more forced and artificial than in the Wither 3 for example.
    As I already stated multiple times, I did not expect CB to be a masterpiece, I even expected it to be "only" above average. But there is nothing that CB excels at other than the art, the world and maybe the story. Everything else is average at best.
    Add to that all the issues with marketing, bugs, performance and you get a below average RPG. I would love to have a decent RPG in the world of Cyber Punk, but if even CDPR did no manage to do it, then I do not who will sadly. Bugs and performance will probably get fixed, but CB has issues deep down that are probably always going to be disappointing, at least to me.    … Expand

    Dobra fabuła i klimat to za mało. Stan techniczny jest okropny i połatanie tego zajmie wiele miesięcy. Leży też projekt gry czego w przeciwieństwie do bugów i kiepskiej optymalizacji nie da się już naprawić - zepsuty model jazdy, AI npc, elementy "RPG", drętwa walka rodem z nowych Falloutów, otwarty świat, w którym nie ma co robić poza zadaniami i wiele innych rzeczy.

    It seems that the biggest issue that most people had so far are technical. I am 30 hours in into the game and also had some bugs and glitches, some of them are problematic, for example one important character that I had to deliver a quest to simply disappeared from the game, I had to reload a previous save to solve the issue, and so far had three crashes, one of them a hard one. Had the trees glitch that was solved by updating my Nvidia drivers, also I am playing on gog, it seems most people have issues on steam, but I'm talking about my experience. Other than that I haven't encounter game breaking bugs or major problems, my rig is very top notch so that also takes a part on it.
    The game itself as an RPG is great, it has an incredible open world, no loading screens for going in or out of buildings, gameplay is pretty fluid, is not a hardcore shooter like COD so bear that in mind, is more like Fallout 4 on asteroids. Many of the early game concepts presented were washed down, I understand why, it was way too complicated for a big title like this and general audiences, these concepts are still there, but way more streamlined. The progression tree and its perks are overwhelming, and it could take you hours going all of the perks, the game do not do a great job explaining mid game features, you will have to discover it by yourself. The game is graphic and violent, so expect that, and it has a bunch of adult content. Music is great.
    Finally I want to add that when I played the Witcher 3 at released it was not in a better shape than this game, and still is a masterpiece. Its definitely a must buy and have it in your collection, it is truly an impressive game.    … Expand

This game has flaws, but so did Skyrim, GTA V, and ALL OTHER OPEN WORLD GAMES. This is one of the most graphically intensive games that has ever been released and it's absolutely stunning! I have an rtx 2080 and it does chug along a little bit but it's easy to see why. The lighting/ shading/ color schemes are all very complex and crisp. This is the new benchmark that makes you say "can it run Crysis?" to now saying "can it run Cyberpunk?" The game play is a first person shooter style but it definitely is more of an RPG than anything else, so keep that in mind if you are considering purchasing this game. It has very intense moments and fantastic character development. The acting is pretty average which isn't awful but if it was a movie it probably would give out any awards to the actors, but the story is riveting! This game is on definitely in my top 5 already but I can see how it's not for everyone. Buy this game if you have the right hardware and you like rpg's with fps elements. Don't buy this game if you are a call of duty player that wants a visceral shooter experience, because this definitely isn't that.… Expand

Esto NO es un juego, es un "early access", es una beta a la que tienes derecho por haber hecho la preventa de un juego que saldrá en aproximadamente 3 a 6 meses, una vez que saquen la formal versión para las consolas de actual generación. Compré este título para PC, en GOG; y, además, mi hermano ya había hechoSi quieres reseñar este título desde el punto de vista de un juego, merece un 0. Esto NO es un juego, es un "early access", es una beta a la que tienes derecho por haber hecho la preventa de un juego que saldrá en aproximadamente 3 a 6 meses, una vez que saquen la formal versión para las consolas de actual generación. Compré este título para PC, en GOG; y, además, mi hermano ya había hecho la preventa desde abril, para PS4. Sin tener la PC de mínimo 2,500 dólares que quizá el 1% de los que compran este título tendrán, el juego corre "bien" a secas. Mi problema, sin embargo, no es tanto la cuestión catastrófica de bugs, gráficos completamente despulidos y crasheos que te obligan a cerrar el juego y reiniciar la aplicación de GOG; mi más grande problema es el contenido del "juego". Terminé mi primer playthrough en modo "Muy Difícil", en el path de "Nómada" y, aún con el modo, la IA es una basura: tanto enemigos, como policía, son infinitamente menos desafiantes que los que te ponen en el tutorial. Pareciera que sólo están puestos para estorbar cuando caminas hacia el siguiente punto de la misión. Podrías pasarte el juego entero con las misiones secundafias sin siquiera usar el árbol de personalización de armas y demás modificaciones en atributos del personaje, y otras upgrades que te pone el sistema del juego. El sistema de progresión es inútil.
    Los paisajes, y la ambientación del juego en general, EN LA VERSIÓN DE PC, me parecen muy atractivos... Pero están vacíos! A excepción de aquellos barrios, callejones, y departamentos donde se encuentra alguna misión, o en cargo, el resto del mundo funge de adorno. Esto es desastroso, debido a la "amplia verticalidad y abundante posibilidad de exploración" que nos prometió CDPR. Pero, y bien, ¿qué pasa cuando exploras lo poco con lo que sí puedes interactuar? Te encuentras con el peor loot y sistema de looteo que he visto en un RPG, en 25 años que tengo jugando videojuegos. Si quisiera un juego donde puedo recoger **** regresaría al maravilloso e hilarante Saints Row IV. Si quisiera lootear condones, los lootearía en el mundo real! The Witcher 3 padecía de lo mismo, un loot de mucha basura (literal) pero, al menos en TW3, podías desmantelar la chatarra, y sacarle provecho para las armas. Aquí, tu **** con tachas, se queda como **** con tachas.
    La emoción por rejugabilidad es inexistente: una vez que terminen la historia principal (que dura como 20 horas) y todo el contenido secundario (que, después de un total de 40 horas, ya me terminé lo inportante), no queda la necesidad de volver a explorar, de retomar la aventura. Personalmente, sólo me quedó la intención de volver a jugar un NG+ en modo "Death March" en el juego que SÍ fue la obra maestra de la desarrolladora Polaca.
    Nos mostraron la posibilidad de 3 distintos caminos para jugar, pero si escoges "Nómada" (mi caso), no vas a cambiar la experiencia de juego, ni el final del mismo, que si escoges "Corpo" (el caso de mi hermano). A excepción de un par de posibilidades de responder de forma distinta a una que otra conversación, TODO es IGUAL!
    Todo lo anterior, es meramente la superficie, de una profundidad más notable de problemas con el contenido del juego. Hablar del horrible rendimiento que este título tiene en las consolas para las que fue desarrollado, ya es otra cosa; mismos problemas que tiene para PC, a excepción de los gráficos y el bajón de frames tan cerdo. Me parece un insulto y un robo que hayan ofrecido este juego para PS4/Xbox One.
    En resumen, no gasten 60 dólares por este prototipo de lo que quizá en 8 años, sea una muy buena franquicia. Me parece que el equivalente de esta atrocidad, sería que CDPR hubiese sacado The Witcher 3, para PS3 y Xbox 360. Ni más, ni menos. Mi recomendación: esperen a que la compañía, con todo el dinero que se va a meter después de este atraco masivo y descarado, saque la 2a y hasta 3a entrega de Cyberpunk. Esperemos que aprendan de sus errores garrafales, y veamos una transición y salto gigantesco (como lo vimos con la serie de The Witcher) en esta IP. Mientras tanto, a jugar Doom, Dark Souls, Ghost of Tsushima, o cualquier título que sí merezca la pena, y que sí esté hecho para ser, no sólo digamos disfrutado, sino jugado con dignidad.    … Expand

    Writing and the story is just amazing, and I've had the luck that my game didn't encounter any game-breaking bugs. Considering the huge scope that this game has and how I couldn't stop playing having hunger for more night city + the fact that developers are actually working to fix the glitches (patches nearly on daily basis), I'm giving 9/10.

    Played from the first days...no, hours. Ryzen 5 and 2080 went just fine. High graphics, rtx on and all. Yep, a bit of little bugs but why tf it must be perfect to be fun.

    - AI is pretty bad, enemies often will not take cover but just stand and take hits, esecially the melee ones
    - Combat is mediocre, typical bullet sponge enemies, everything feels calculated and artificial

    Pros:
    - City looks great, captures cyberpunk aesthethics pretty well
    - Graphics are good (but still not as good as hardware requirements would suggest)
    - I like the item system, theres a lot of them scattered around and you can customize the character looks pretty well with the outfit
    - Voice acting is mostly good (playing English dub)

    All in all its a mediocre game, Deus Ex Human Revolution is still a better game in every aspect except for graphics and city scale even though it came out in 2011    … Expand

You actually want ( I know it's hard to believe) to pursue the side quests, you will be greatly surprised by the variety of topics. You will Love the side quests!     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I mean obviously there were bugs, but never had any issues with it. Let me continue on the real things.

    Ending this game made me really sad. The story is what mattered to me the most.
    You might resemble Johnny with things you do in the game, but you are still one of your own, your choices after all and you are not exactly what Johnny is.

    The meaningful characters to the game that mattered to us the most like Jackie a real friend at the very beginning, his kind mother, Judy with her gang, Evelynn, Panam and the family (yes can't ever forget Scorpion, Mitch or Saul and the rest), Johnny as an additional companion which introduced us to his band and previous gang members. Viktor that always fixes us up no matter what. Delamain was funny. Takemura was looking like he came from Sekiro or something and we became better with him even though again it didn't end really well with him.

    I chose to end with Panam. I did not expect things to be like they did. The obvious reason why to end with Panam is because she and the family (and by family I mean Aldecaldos) were true friends right from the start (i mean meeting) too. They cared about you as much as Jackie did. They will do anything for you.

    I did not trust anyone else and that's the reason I chose to end with Panam. Who would trust Arasaka if they wanna kill each other's family members like it's nothing. Johnny even though he is all the time by your side, he still wants to take over eventually like in the end of my choice with Panam. Then Rogue just doesn't feel like you can trust at all and you already know Panam was on bad terms with her which explains a lot.

    It felt like I speedrun my whole life in a game. I had so many good friends that really cared and they always appreciated what you did, they will tell you this, unlike real life and this is probably the biggest reason why it made me sad.

    The credits rolling and showing all our friends we met, their recordings to be more precise, lowkey explaining how you will end up and how good you are on terms with the people you met and that you still have contact with them just feels great and also again even that makes me sad.

    I honestly can't even sleep, was really tired, slept for a tiny bit and in that tiny bit I dreamt of Cyberpunk again.
    Waking up feeling even more sad. And here I am now.

    Anyway all these things I mentioned might show you the vision and how I really feel.

    Because of the story I went past all the bad things that might have existed like weird AI including enemies that sometimes stand in a corner or teleport or cops and so on. I had minor bugs but only had to restart the game twice when there was a slightly bigger issue like one time where a song was still playing even when the scene ended with Johnny, probably a trigger of an event ending didn't happen, 2nd was again similar. Frames were decent and playable 50+ in very populated areas, max was around 110, I had it all on ultra and with just a 2060 Super.

    I had fun and enjoyed living a life in a Cyberpunk world.

    And because this is a RPG you can start whenever you want from scratch with different levelling and what not.
    Ofcourse nothing is going to be like your first try.

    My first try went with using handguns mostly because I'm a fan of them so I levelled that to the max, rest was decently levelled.

    I liked some of the soundtracks, audio was really great done. Graphics looked so real and characters especially. If you have it on ultra it's even more realistic ofcourse. Then there's preference settings too.

    Anyway the game was great for me. I will never forget it. It at same time improved my life and made me so sad. As someone who plays many games, watches anime or series, movies whatever, ending Cyberpunk hit really hard. Sometimes I just don't feel anything when I finish it but it's not like that with CP2077. It's definitely a good game after all. When they patch it, that's when it hits its prime, but probably soon. Hopefully anyone finds this useful and has their own opinion on the game. I enjoyed it and whenever I start playing it again in future I will still enjoy it.

    I tried to remember if I forgot anything but I think I said it all. These in game characters meant more to me than most people in real life. Sometimes I think to myself if it's possible if afterlife even exists to meet all the people you met in games or when you watched series etc. etc.

    Plot holes example:
    Corpo
    1. Jackie refuses to help you do a hit job on your boss' boss.
    2. Jackie after intro and skip ahead 6months, wants to rob Arasaka Corp (CEO of largest Corp).
    3. Jackie Dies no matter what.

    Origin stories are meaningless-> end up in the same place no matter what with the same endings with some different "flavor" choices.
    All endings involve you dying either through suicide, or 6month duration, the other alternative is you becoming an AI. That's the sum of it.

    Skill checks are meaningless in most parts of the game.

    There are some "choices" but most don't reflect the end game much other than limited romances of either a gay romance/straight romance. 1 of each.

    NPC's have no interaction at all other than 1 liners.

    "Street cred" is no value other than soft caping you from gear/modifications.

    Once you finish the intro, you're stuck with Anarchist "Johnny silverhand" who is indirectly killing you and narrating your "Adventures" "Behaviors" and other aspects of the game which is unnecessary.

    Braindances-> same **** you have to do on any background/character you play, even if it's a lengthy 15minute "tutorial".

    Most options are a way to say "yes" or "no" often in a "yes, Yes, YESSSS" format in choices from option 1, 2, 3.

    Early game, enemies are bullet sponges, mid game enemies die in one shot even on the hardest difficulties.

    When you use crafting, well, you can craft say a grenade with rank 1 components to get a rank 3 item, spam that until you get 300 or so, then disassemble them all and get rank 3 items, and not just some, roughly 5-6 of each including the components you used to craft it, which you in turn can just dump at any vendor and make stupid amounts of $$$.

    Crafting/upgrading weapons can easily be done and out perform higher level enemies who then can be one shot.
    I'm not saying moderately higher, i'm saying enemies indicated as "This is boss level you will die", and dying to a single head shot.

    You can craft "armor"/clothing that makes you invincible and unkillable if you wanted.

    Note: by this point you've probably found nothing to do other than side quests/gigs or other meaningless stuff such as police jobs for "cash" that you don't need, but for street cred and leveling, which is your "Farm".

    Since the intro was pretty vapid, and by vapid i mean if you had a 15 chapter book, just rip out the first 5 chapters and start in the middle, as they skip six months of character development in the game.

    *Note* they do this with the ending as well, as you get your ending of "choice", and you die in 6 months.

    IF you wanted you could spend a day grinding out all the millions of $ you need to buy every vehicle in the game if you wanted to. But it's a boring process, and the alternative is doing meaningless side missions that give you $ at much lower rates and lower rewards if "Rewarding" at all, because you can craft something better.

    The missions themselves as advertised in cut scenes, were altered in the majority of ways, and isn't true to what was advertised at all, even though i've only seen them after the purchase, as i wasn't on the hype train.

    Basically, dumb it down to "Story time" with your choice of endings. Once you beat one ending, you go back to ACT 2, before the final mission, you can choose to finish anything you have not done side quest wise then try to get another ending ,but that summarizes it.

    Replayability is non existent and excessively linear.    … Expand

    Conclusion:
    Even considering cons, It's one of the best game I ever played.

    My favorite part of the game are the main characters and their stories. The writing, voice acting, and animation is so on point, that you really can belive you are talking to a real person. The first-person view adds to that immersion. Their stories are much more touching and emotional than I expected. The whole presentation of the stories is much better than I am used to in games. Some scenes are so good, that you would expect them in a tv show or a movie, which is really remarkable. Depending on your playstyle these quests take bout 40-60h. (Stealth takes much longer than Melee)

    For me personally, the story and especially the characters are so good and believable, that I can ignore most of the problems. I realize though, that that might not be the case for some people.

    The biggest problem with the game is that it is obviously unfinished. There are a lot of small glitches like flying cars and dissolving pedestrians. I had none that really broke the game, but they are annoying nonetheless.

    I like the gameplay, but I see why some people might not like it. There are plenty of playstyle options to choose, I played mostly stealth and hacking but melee and gunplay was more fun than I expected. The enemy AI is not the greatest and car AI does not exist. If Npcs drive in missions they are on rails and in the open world, the cars just stop if something is in the way. The police is incapable of driving a car so they spawn right next to you and despawn if you move away. This is not gta and it does not seem like it wanted to be gta.

    Additionally, the game is bad at hiding cut content. All games cut content at some point in the development and pointing to a two-year-old trailer and complaining that the game is not exactly like it is stupid. Changing things constantly is part of the development process. But it is sometimes really obvious where additional story routes were supposed to be or where additional features were planned but ultimately cut. Usually, games try to hide these open ends, I guess they did not have enough time for that with this game.

    I think it's sad that they apparently had to release it. It could have been the best game overall ever, but right now it's just a really great story and characters in a good game.

    Tldr: Play the game! But not right now. Maybe in a few months or even a year.    … Expand

Yes, there are a few bugs, but they're minor and they don't distract me. Moreover, they will probably be fixed soon.     CD project red did it again! For that price everything is better than i expected. Problem i guess only with little visuals like floating phones, sometimes not loading properly scenes. After i reinstalet game to my ssd problems were gone. I wanted to play this game after fixes but good its so good i could hold my self. Right now im enjoing this game like no one else before. Recommend!

    Well since the last update some bugs got fixed and now, I can play the game in Ultra Settings. Which is honestly pretty nice. I think the story is one of the best ever written. I am not a professional critic. I am a normal Gamer and for what I pay I get something really good. I personally don´t mind bugs and stuff like that. If you really care about bugs, this game is definitely nothing for you!

    Be warned that the game is a beast, you will need a good/very good pc to run it. Please check online for recommended hardware to see if you can run the game at the resolution/level of detail you want.

    Quite buggy, a bit unoptimized but thoroughly enjoyable. As far as the bugs are concerned I was among the lucky ones to not experience game breaking ones. The only glitches I have experienced were npc pathing problems, cars randomly driving into walls, t-posing, pop-ins etc. Nothing major, however sometimes immersion-breaking. The story and "main side" quests are very enjoyable and one doesn't expect some of them to branch out into their own sub stories, also very well composed and written. The city is beautiful and I found myself roaming around doing nothing just for pure enjoyment, taking in the scenery. Voice acting (at least the male protagonist, as I've so far only played as a male) is extremely well done. I've never seen any protagonist emote so much. Speaking of emotions, there is a handful of quests that made me - a 38 year old man, get misty-eyed and that's no exaggeration. I literally blinked and had a few tears roll down my cheeks. Keanu Reeves is a prominent character and he is present with you always, not just during main quests, not even during main side quests. you can walk into a bathroom or just an ordinary room with something to interact with in it and he'll pop up suddenly offering a piece of dialogue or a snide remark. Very well integrated character. Makes me believe that he is a part of V's consciousness. Story -wise there's little that disappoints. If I had to be nit picky I'd say that so far I'm mostly disappointed in one thing (that many will not consider something to complain about) and that's the one romance option I was extremely happy to try. Mainly Meredith Stout, I found her an interesting character from the very first reveal and I planned mu first playthrough around that. Granted I wanted to play corpo since day one but she just made me more sure to try that path. Turns out she is just a 1 night stand and pretty much goes for anyone, not just a corpo.    … Expand

    TL:DR: Good, but could have (and should have been) better. Worth the bugs though.

    Long review:

    Anyways, on to the game itself: this game is pretty much what you get when you combine Deus Ex: Human Revolution, GTA V, and The Witcher 3. The world map isn't enormous, but there's a lot of elevation and density to it, and the level of detail is impressive. The attention to detail, in particular, is commendable. News TV and advertisements have entire voiced segments, and are entertaining to watch the first few times. Even magazine covers on the magazine stands are readable (with plausible article titles! lol) instead of blurred out decorative pieces.

    There are a bunch of bugs that are being slowly addressed, but thus far after around 65 hours of gameplay, I've barely been affected. The game runs well enough on mostly Ultra for me (a couple of effects like cascading shadows and SSR turned down to high or disabled entirely) and looks stunning. A lot of the more glaring bugs are graphical ones that serve to break immersion, but also are kind of funny at times. I never felt like it was a big negative though, and I expected such bugs given the complexity and scope of the game. I also expect that they'll be fixed up in time, and I fully expect to do more playthroughs.

    The main cast of characters (Keanu Reeves is ofc excellent!) are compelling, interesting, and well-crafted. Secondary/tertiary characters are decent. I was a bit disappointed you couldn't romance Judy as a male pc, but that's a minor point and totally fine haha

    I will agree that the open world feels... filled, but lifeless. While there are a lot of NPC's with short and unique dialogue segments all over the place, for the most part there's not a lot of... life. Not a lot of movement outside of the side quests. Other than the people walking or driving around, of course.

    Speaking of side quests, they are AWESOME in this game. Some of the best quests I've done in an RPG since... Witcher 3, basically. I've basically been doing side quests (and there are A LOT of em) and barely advancing the main plot so far.

    Anyways, there are some valid negatives being pointed out by other reviewers, however underneath all the bugs, sometimes poor optimization, and substandard AI is a beautifully-crafted and complex game. Vou na contramão aqui: os NPCs dão realmente a sensação de terem sido criados na década passada. Sim ainda estamos falando de um mundo aberto gigante e que algo além disso pode ser inimaginável, mas veja: os NPCs (digo esses genéricos que estão aí apenas pra preencher as ruas e dar volume) tem caras de games construídos na década passada, mas tudo bem...     Initially was disappointed that my gtx 970 can't run this game as well as i hoped.
    After some graphics tweaking managed to make it playable
    I have to say that besides some visual bugs this game is awesome i'm hooked.
    I just wish i could play it on better PC like i planed.
    Have hope in CDPR they have earned your benefit of the doubt.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt, Cyberpunk 2077 is the worst, most broken game since ET. Not even close. I tried playing the game on my Xbox One, and it is unplayable. I took it back to the store and returned it. CD Project Red KNEW the game was broken onIve gamed since the day of Atari. They literally pulled the wool over our eyes, lied to us, and took our money anyway. How stupid are we to keep forking over our money to these thieves in corporate suits. Not me anymore.     This is a great game. It has a interesting main story, heaps of side missions, the travel interface is easy to use with heaps of great weapons. I have found very few bugs. Combat is fun and challenging. I can't put the game down.

    Feel betrayed, and not because I was on the hype-train, and my expectations were unrealistic. I really don't mind the bugs, which will be ironed out surely. The issue is with the empty shell of a game if you go beyond the main quest - total immersion, living city, impactful decisions? Forget it.

    Soundtrack is fun and (as expected) leans mostly towards electronica, dance, and/or noise/metal. It's a little too obviously current for my tastes, and I wish they had been a little more forward-thinking in their original music, but still well done if you're a fan of those styles.

    Atmosphere: At first I felt the vision of 2077 felt incredibly unoriginal and old-fashioned. But, once I learned it was based on the Cyberpunk RPG from the 90s then it made sense: they're being faithful to a vision of a cyberpunk future that now feels more quaint than edgy. As with the music, I wish they would have been more forward-thinking and come up with a modern take on the cyberpunk genre rather than going for highly accurate reproduction of an old vision. But, hey, they did a really good job of bringing that old vision to life.

    Gameplay: Bugs. Yes, many bugs. But on the platforms I'm reviewing they are manageable, albeit annoying. Text for dialogue that sticks on the screen until you reload, quest steps that don't trigger properly until you reload, getting stuck until you reload are all things that have happened to me on an occasional basis. Not enough to make me want to stop, but enough to annoy me. These will be fixed, and anyone not tolerant of jank in their games should wait about 3 months or so.

    Acting: So far I've only played male V, and the voice actor comes from the school of "If I growl my lines I'll sound edgy". It's mostly a one-note performance that occasionally has better moments. But, really V is there just to prompt the other characters to speak, and they carry the bulk of the stories' emotional weight and impact. Jackie, Judy, River, Panam, Mitch, Evelyn, and others are very engaging and I grew to appreciate and like them very much.

    Some people have expressed disappointment at Keanu Reeve's performance as Johnny Silverhand, but I've always found his acting style to be oddly stilted and emotionally flat so it's very much what I expected. So, not great, but yeah it's Keanu being Keanu and I was ok with it.

    Character advancement: a wide variety of attributes and perks that mesh together in interesting ways. Some of them sound uninspiring in their descriptions, and most of these are more incremental than radical in how they affect your gameplay, but those increments sure do add up and in the latter part of the game you will start to feel how much more capable your character is. I went with an intelligence/stealth/tech build with an emphasis on Quickhacks. I was quite the glass cannon but had lots of fun with the combat. (Inducing cyberpsychosis is great fun: just watch your enemies tear each other apart while you loot the goodies).

    Open world: The AI for pedestrians and cars is rock stupid, and there are many times you'll be soaking in the sights only to have jittery pedestrians or stalled traffic interfere with your immersion. I still enjoyed moving through the world, but I suspect things will be much smoother in a couple months.

    Romances/storyline/options: Most dialogue options feel fairly unimportant, just adding color to your V and allowing you to steer him/her to sounding vague, surly, or supportive. I've only experienced a couple of the endings so far, and what's clear is that doings lots of side jobs and gigs is important to having more options at the end. Don't rush the main story!! There aren't lots of cool little things to discover in the world, making it feel bland and repetitive after a while. Character story arcs can be emotional and moving, but there's nothing next-gen about the game design itself.

    Overall I'm having a great time w/Cyberpunk despite its limitations. I love open worlds, and anticipate playing at least a couple dozen hours more. If you go in with realistic expectations it can provide many hours of fun. It's no masterpiece, but there are more than a few fun, interesting stories to be told in Night City, and I'm glad I got it.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
