This game is an absolute blast from the narrative, artistical and graphical point of view, gameplay is very fun and progression solid and deep.
Thr problem is the obscene amount of bugs at launch, I'm confident they will be fixed but CDP already damaged their reputation. Awful launch should not shadow the true gem this game is.

My experience is based on running the game on a PC, with RTX 3080 GPU, AMD 5900x CPU, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.

On those specs, I can run the game in 1440p around 60 fps with everything at the highest setting (e.g., RT on ultra/psycho, and DLSS on quality), and the result is the most gorgeous looking game I've seen thus far. Not a play session goes by without me just

On those specs, I can run the game in 1440p around 60 fps with everything at the highest setting (e.g., RT on ultra/psycho, and DLSS on quality), and the result is the most gorgeous looking game I've seen thus far. Not a play session goes by without me just stopping and admiring the shadows and textures and animations, and the overall sheer amount of detail in the world. It really is breathtaking.

The stories in the game have a lot of interesting elements seeded in them, though at times it feels like the delivery lacks in depth. However, I would be the first to admit that my background in philosophy may be setting my standards kind of unreasonably high when it comes to exploring philosophical and political themes. For a popular title, the game does give some of the themes a reasonable treatment, without being too preachy one way or another (depending on the players own choices).

The side missions, in particular, are quite exemplary in that they do not feel like your general side gigs, but rather immersive stories in their own right. Night City – as a living corporate-ruled metropolis of the future – is the stage, and all of the missions utilize it in varied ways. To add, all of the characters in the main and side quest are quite interesting; I constantly find myself wanting to learn more about them. Thus, overall, the dystopian stories are quite good. (Mind you, however, that I have not played through the entire game yet – I'm only about 30 hours in so far, while having primarily done side missions.)

I would probably give the game a 9.6 or 9.7 if it weren't for the bugs that are present even on the PC version. The bugs are there, even though they are nowhere near as aplenty nor severe as on the consoles. But they are there nonetheless. Most are visual bugs, though.

Overall, Cyberpunk 2077 on a high-end PC is an extremely gorgeous experience, with engaging story lines and interesting characters, but is hindered by the bugs present at launch. If it wasn't for the bugs, the game might get a 9.7 from me, but for the time being – until the bugs are fixed – I'm forced to give it a solid 9.

CDProject Red delivered with their strenghts in mind; the graphics are absolutely gorgeous (especially main characters) and the game itself is a narrative masterpiece. There indeed are bugs (mainly graphical) which may slightly break immersion from time to time, but aside from that there's nothing more to complain about. Content-wise I'm really inclined to rate this a solid 10, but due to the bugs I'll give it a 9 for now. Kudos to CDPR for admitting and addressing the amount of bugs and I'm sure they'll deliver many fixes which will bump the score to the 10 it deserves.

Are there bugs? Yes. Is it unplayable? Not at all. Is the game full of content? Yes. Is the game breathtaking? No question. Will it get better? 100%. The scope of the game, from a design perspective, is just unfathomably big and they did make it run on everything! Hats of to the developers especially after all the media **llsh**ery they had to endure for the past months.

I really feel like Cyberpunk is a game that should not be played the same way we have played other RPG's. Initially I was not impressed with the graphics, or some of the mechanics involved - but again, the longer I play the more I come to realize how great they are - and why those choices were made by the devs.

While the phone constantly ringing, messages, and shard system can get overwhelming, and I certainly could do without the cars for sale icons showing on the main map - I feel like having so many activities to take part in helps to build the world. If people are not reading everything, and are just powering through the quests they will not enjoy this game like those who are.

I also feel like, the older, more mature people are real life, the more they will appreciate this game. The content here is very mature - and requires a certain level of imagination to understand and connect with. I am 47 years old, and I can say for certain if I had played this in my late teens or 20's I probably would not have "got it", and appreciate it like I do.

Apart from the obvious bugs cyberpunk has managed to create one of the most immersive game worlds ever, with a very captivating story and characters you wont easily forget. Just simply riding through NC is incredible. After this **** storm with the disasterous launch blows over and CDPR fixes the game is going to be even better than it already is. It's just a shame it had to come to his.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best games ever created however bugs and constant crushes are very annoying. I would love to give this game 10/10 right now but it's impossible. I truly believe that in a few months this game will be ready but right now I recommend playing this game only on current generation of game consoles and decent PC.

Actually had low expectations, but it's better than I thought! Annoyingly glitchy graphics they patched the worst away from (on PC), so-so gameplay (fairly simple and clunky), very well told story, and overall pretty to look at. It's not rocking my world, but it's very, very entertaining. And it's a vast game! Lots to do. CP2077 is basically GTA with cyber and way better storytelling. I realize the issues with rendering come from the fact that the programming that went into this game took some effort and were not done just by humans. As a result, we need bots to interface with the automation that goes into the display. You can't do it with a crappy 1080hp TV. Get a smart TV and join the rest of us. If you can't get a PS5 (which most cannot at this time). I don't have the PC version, but I'm sure you need the specs, which include similar technology i.e. display drives. I've been playing it for about a week and ran into very few issues with crashing and whatnot. It plays with no issue, non whatsover. The load time takes a while, but that's b/c the board on the PC is slow. If I had a PS5 it would zip things out. Display and graphics are fine, you just need to configure the settings. Make sure you get a smart TV and you should not run into any issues. This will not change for any future games coming out next year either. I'm giving this game a 9. Nobody deserves a 10, unless deployment is without exception..and this has a few. It's model is GTA-ish, but that's arguably minimal compared to how gorgeous the rest of it is. This is basically a review from someone who played this game expecting nothing and playing as a hacker through one story line.

The best thing about this game is without a doubt the city. This is without a doubt, the best setting we have seen in a game so far. All the different districts look not only unique but also beautiful in there own unique way. This gets enhanced by seeing multiple people on the streets, more then you have ever seen in any other game. Just following random people minding their own business is actually something you can do in this game and the sheer amount of different things they do is astounding. (Though of course, you sometimes see things twice or the same animation, it's still a game after all) Although mind you, this only applies if you play the PC version like i did, i played the game on high settings btw. I loved the sub-quest and main story, which is honestly a blockbuster level type of story in a video game, and especially the sub-quests always had a little spin to them to make them interesting, which only got amplified by being a hacker since the environment plays a big role if you decide to play that type of role. Dialogues where memorable and i especially liked the way their mimic or gestures change mid sentence or close to end of a sentence when they want to say something in a different mood. Now... not all things are great, which is why i gave this a 9/10. First of all, although i didn't encounter any game changing bugs in my session, this game is definitely not fully optimized and still features some bugs, looking at what people posted online though it seems that there are more worse stuff happening in a play through then just "flying object X". This game NEEDS to be fixed, cause it is a masterpiece which would be put to shame if CDPR doesn't fix it to become a clean experience but with their quick way of patching currently it seems like that will be done for in a few patches, we will have to look forward for that i guess and see how things turn out. Another thing i didn't like is the way that sub-quests get presented to you, your telephone is basically almost always ringing if you leave the district cause a mission is presented to you. This will also hopefully be patched. But other then that, i would say that this is definitely my favorite game i have ever played and will 100% this in all routes, until then citizens of Night City!
    Have a nice day!

There are bugs for sure, but otherwise the game is amazingly good. The problem is that to truly apriciate the game in all of it's glory you need one hell of a PC, even with RTX 3080/3090 you cannot run the game at 4K with ray tracing at 60 fps.
The good news is, this is by far one of the best games I have ever played. For many this will be a game they will continuously come back to replay.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a 9/10 as well at it is a 5/10.

The heart of this game, the narration, story and storylines, characters, music, Night City itself are nothing short of brilliant, maybe the best in any video game to date. This game will immerse you in its world and you will not escape Night City before you finish this game... if the map full of other mysteries and things to do doesn't keep you going. Also, the city is gorgeous, every frame is a work of art from close-ups on characters to the city landscape.

But... this game is also a 5/10 because everything else ranges from good to really bad and broken.
The gunplay and speed hack mechanics are pretty good though. But the progression system is kind of shallow, the hacking (you'll see) is bad, NPCs AI is dumb, the police is non-existent, driving is really inconsistent, the crafting system is broken into oblivion, there are so many bugs that it's not even funny and I'm sure there is more I forgot...

So why 9/10? Because even with all these problems I have had an awesome, unique, and almost magical experience.
These problems aren't (in most situations) enough to damage the experience even a little. So if you're anything like me and you like these kinds of narrative experience (think the witcher 3 for example) This game is a must-play but care Night city will take all your time. If not, the game is not for you, go play something else :)

But to finish I will advise waiting for some patch to fix the bugs (if CDPR survives its current crisis that is) and hopefully the rest of the game because all Cyberpunk problems can hopefully be patched with updates.

This game has a lot of potentials, and with mods, patches, and extensions I'm convinced it will sit close to Skyrim on the pantheon of Open-world RPGs. But today it's just the unfinished version, a shadow of a brilliant maybe generation-defining game.

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
