    The Good:
    Cyberpunk 2077, a game that's been hyped up for almost 8 years straight. And what does it deliver?
    In all honesty it's a great game when it works (more on that in just a second) but the story in itself is surprisingly well thought out and delivers a. Playing the game your going to make small dialogue choices, and while at first it seems these choices don't make that much of a    The Good:

    In all honesty it's a great game when it works (more on that in just a second) but the story in itself is surprisingly well thought out and delivers a. Playing the game your going to make small dialogue choices, and while at first it seems these choices don't make that much of a difference, in some way or another they do. I was able to ask my friends, hey how did you do this mission here and how did it turn out, and usually we might have different experiences on how a certain mission might have played out.

    The Characters that you meet throughout the game also have a tendency to feel as if they were real people, and even if a mission sounded boring on paper, I was usually pleasantly surprised with how these stories would often turn out. It honestly felt really nice building relationships with certain characters and watching how their stories would unfold.

    Gameplay wise, while not the best thing in the world, it does get the job done. Shooting is okay, just don't go in expecting to be playing Call of Duty. At the beginning of the game, your enemies are essentially bullet sponges, and you might die a lot if your not the proper level. On the bright side of things, the game really shines when it comes to the rpg elements. Like any game, the more you level up the more easier the game becomes. However, what cyberpunk does differently is that while their are skill points you can use to level up a certain stat, the more you use a certain skill, the more better you become at that skill. So for instance if you decide to use a lot more stealth in a certain mission, you will notice your "Cool" stat starts to increase.

    The Bad:
    The UI in this game sucks. I'm sorry, but its super clunky and very annoying to move around in. The game gives you only 3 weapons that you can hold onto at a time, however this quickly becomes annoying when you run out of ammo for all your guns and now you have to find your way to the inventory to grab another gun, only to realize that new gun you just grabbed is also out of ammo. There needs to be a quick access function for your weapon inventory, and you should be told how much ammo you have for that particular weapon.

    The Map is way too cluttered way to early on in the game. There is a lot to do in this game with all of it's side gigs and side missions along with the main quest. However all these activities clutter up the map and it's hard to figure out where is what exactly. Speaking of side quests, the game's journal is simply just a list of missions you have available with a vague description of what that job is going to be. This becomes very annoying and cluttered, once you start gathering a bunch of missions, seriously did we need 6 different entries for all 6 Delamine Vehicles that we had to retrieve??

    The game is almost always in first person, and the only time where you have the option to really change your perspective is when it comes to driving. Driving in Night City is okay at best, and I'd recommend driving in third person in this game, as almost no game can seem to get first person driving to feel right. The only exception being is motorcycle riding. I honestly had a blast riding my motorcycle around town and exploring night city. So why is this in the bad section? The mini map is way too zoomed in, and might work better if it was placed on the bottom corners of the map. Too many times I find myself either missing a turn, or crashing myself into a car or a pedestrian.

    Speaking of Night City, it's honestly disappointing how beautiful this city is, yet there's only so little you can do in this city. Sure there are side missions you can do throughout the game. But as for just having fun in night city there's no arcades to play games, food to eat, hell can't even dance at the clubs. I do have hope these are added in the future

    The Ugly:
    While I myself haven't had too many bugs, it's no secret that this was a really buggy release. If I'm being honest with you, I think this game should have released in 2021. Often a bug will break your immersion, or in some cases for some people, ruin the whole experience by not even working. It's disappointing to me, as this game had potential to be very good, but a really bad release may have ruined that. I do have hope, that by as of next year, all these launch issues would be resolved.

    Tldr: Great game with great RPG elements, however it needs some work with it's cluttered UI system, the game is only disappointing with the amount of bugs it has.

    I definitely would say to wait on this game, and to purchase it after all these issues have been remedied .    … Expand

    Не смотря на проблемный старт игра вышла ахуенной, мне она очень нравится и время в ней проходит быстро. Не знаю, может мне повезло, но на моей 1650 и i7 9750 игра идёт стабильно на средне - высоких. У того же третьего Ведьмака был проблемный старт и даунгрейд графики, но это ей не помешало спустя время и труд разрабов стать культовой! Дайте игре шанс..Не смотря на проблемный старт игра вышла ахуенной, мне она очень нравится и время в ней проходит быстро.     Really nice interesting story. Cant get out of this world. There are many Bugs for exmaple flying cars but it doesnt disturb your feeling od game.

    Is it the worst game ever? HELL NO.
    Is it fun as hell and addictive? YES.
    Does it live up to the hype? Maybe not.
    Can it improve? Most likely.

    Great game but bugs hold it back if the devs fix these game breaking/ minor bugs the game would easily be a 9 or 10

    Nice game. I really enjoy some of the characters i knew while playing, but most of the side content is kinda repetitive and lazy. I'm really hopeful for Phantom Liberty, although it would be nice if they gave this DLC for those who, like me, bought this back in the day at the full price and didn't ask for refund (I only managed to play Cyberpunk 2077 two whole years after the release.     Main storyline and especially the sidequests are amazing. Didn't feel that immersed in a very long time. All bugs are fixable and will be gone someday, what left is a great experience!

    The game is very buggy on every platform at all levels. My pc experience personally has been good though, and I haven't really experienced any game breaking bugs. In fact most of my bugs are fixed by saving and reloading on the spot, or saving and restarting. Is it inconvenient? Yes, but it doesn't make me lose progress or anything. I have also found that most issues on high end pc's lie with 4k or rtx. The game looks fantastic without rtx and on 1440p, which arguably most people use anyway.

    So, all in all it definitely needs work in the technical aspects. However, that not the only thing a review should be about. THIS GAME HAS AMAZING STORIES. The characters you can interact with have much better realism than any other game I've played. I think its a mix if all the little things, like emotions, animation, looks. The stories in general are all interesting in their own ways too.

    The city is vast and detailed at every turn, on a good pc mind you. Lots of npcs, vehicles, buildings, signs, stores, etc. I found myself going in and out of little areas and alleyways for 2 hours the other day. It was hard to believe how much detail they put into the most random places. Some issues like the npc variety and repeats can have their weird spots of being next to each other, and while I do think it's a little immersion breaking, it doesn't always bother me. 9 times out of 10 I'm too busy doing something to even notice this.

    The music is fantastic and it adds just that much more to the game and how it impacts how you feel. Well done indeed.

    Melee combat seems to be a bit if a topic too. I am currently a melee build and I can tell you im having a lot of fun with it. I can understand certain qualms with how the impact isn't quite there yet in terms of how it feels, but I can tell you that melee is more than good enough to play and enjoy with.

    Once again these are my personal thoughts on the game so far, and while I could probably have more to say, it's harder to get everything in detail through text. To me, if the game wasn't as buggy as it is I would easily make it a 10. There's just so much to like and appreciate once you actually get into the game. I can't in good faith give it a 10 knowing so many people are experiencing issues.    … Expand

But if you have the hardware for it - and if you didn't buy into the hype expecting a Grand Theft Redemption: Night City - I can fully recommend the game    It's buggy, it's far from perfect - but it's nonetheless a great game and a great experience.

    I give an 8 of 10 for pc version with the last update,npc traveling with speed of light sometimes,and i dont see police crusing in city,but after all is fun to play and i dont have a great pc,amd ryzen5 3600 16 gb and gtx 1660 oc and runs pretty smooth around 60 fps plus minus 10 fps sometimes,in 12 hours in a row i never encountered a crash and my pc was in stable temps.So.it wotrh it my money

    Yeah there are some bugs, but none enough that has caused me any dissatisfaction. The writing is top notch, the gameplay us solid and really captures the look and feel of the Cyberpunk genre. I highly recommend this title to everyone who enjoys sci fi and rpg's.

    Great game, great story, interesting world and characters, decent gunplay. This game got everything to be one of the best RPG's of all time.

    But -1 for bugs and -1 for poor optimization. This hopefully will be resolved soon so the game is a 9 or even a 10.

    Running good on a 2013 pc build with 16gb ram, gtx970, i7 4790k, and a non ssd HD. I have not had any crashes yet (fingers crossed), My friends have had issues, but when not using rtx they had almost no issues.

    I would not recommend the game if you do not like grinding like a DnD style game, Pathfinder KM, Underrail and other games like that.

    Im enjoying the game it has a lil rough areas that I'm certain will be addressed within the progression of Q4 . im finding my settings at medium custom high no RT and it looks great. All an All i think ots a great game and even more potential hasnt been seen with this title

Unfortunately I think it would have served CD Project Red best to just delay the game for a few more months, and deal with the blow back. The game has some pretty major bugs and other performance issues including major frame drops and graphical glitches on anything that isn’t a $5000 gaming pc.     In the first 48 hours of plying, does it have some bugs? Yea. Somethings that could use improvement? Sure. Am I having a blast playing it, enjoying multiple storylines, and happy with my purchase? Absolutely.

Багов тут очень много, а вдобавок к этому плохая оптимизация. Я играю на ультра в 2к и при включении rtx фпс падает до 35-40.

    Having played the game on PC, I absolutely love it. Memorable characters, an engaging story, great soundtrack, fun combat, unique perks that provide multiple play styles, all set in a vibrant living world that is capable of looking absolutely incredible assuming you've got the horsepower to run it well. I've only encountered a few small bugs myself, not nearly to the level that some peopleHaving played the game on PC, I absolutely love it. I've only encountered a few small bugs myself, not nearly to the level that some people have claimed they've seen. That being said, this is all from a pc player's perspective. I can't give the game full marks because the version released on console should honestly have been delayed at least a few more months to ensure that it could run in a reasonable manner. It can be fixed certainly, but it really should have been a pc exclusive launch at first if they were really desperate to release it when they did. All in all, the game itself is amazing, but performance is auch bigger issue than it should have been. 8/10 for now, but easily capable of being a 9 or maybe even a 10 with bug fixes and more optimization.… Expand

    I have this game on pc so the I haven’t had that many problems but it’s a good story and I don’t typically play these types of games (RPGs) more of a sports and online type guy but the glitches where there fs some where funny but I can see why people are pissed but I’m enjoying my experience wish there was an online mode but I get it

    Playing on Series X. Game is a lot of fun with a ton of stuff to get into. Some bugs, but that's to be expected nowadays (dev team is working like crazy to fix stuff)--nothing that completely breaks the game--have only had to restart from a save point once. Character building, story, gameplay are all really well done. Several hundred hours worth of side and main line content.

This game has been launched too early but it may be a fault of ourselves - players as we were hyped too much. I don't like loot generation, some improvement to inventory interface is needed.     The game didn't release in a perfect state, even after these delays there are quite some bugs and performance could be improved, and that is the only reason i don't give it a 10. I see a lot of people here giving it bad reviews cause they think the world or story is blank, and i simply can't believe those people even played the game. There is a lot to do in the world, ofcourse there are certain repetitive activities like in any open world game, but a lot of the small activities are actually unique and very nice, the characters are so nicely written and have strong emotional connections to you, I remember when i first finished the Witcher 3 i couldn't sleep cause i was so sad to have finished it and i started another playthrough, this is exactly the same thing. If you liked the witcher 3 (mainly story and characters) you will like this too. Now ofcourse the gameplay mechanics are different, but tbh i was positively surprised by a lot of the mechanics, combat is pretty fun, also the shooting, driving isn't nearly as bad as people say, sure it could be worked on a bit but remember this is a story you play, the mechanics are a way to progress the story, things like driving aren't gonna be the same as in racing simulators. I see a lot of people comparing this to gta, saying this is worse. Well, that is exactly the problem isn't it, a lot of people went into this game thinking it was a gta clone, And it is so much more then that. Performance on previous gen consoles is crappy yes, they could work on that, but don't let people fool you, the main reason is cause this game is truly next gen, when next gen video cards start coming out this is gonna be a true wonder. I play on pc on rtx 2070 super and i have constant 60 fps on medium graphics and ray tracing, and the quality on medium is comparable to ultra on a game like lets say rdr2. So i anxiously await the dlc and expansions and patches and this game will be even more incredible.… Expand

    Как и многие другие люди я ждал эту игру невероятно долго.День сменялся ночью ,а я не переставал думать но ней.Если примерно сравнить-это как первая влюблённость.Как только ты её видишь она кажется тебе незабываемо-красивой и это отчасти правда.Однако ,если прекратить мои аналогии,то можно сказать ,что у Cyberpunk 2077 есть масса проблем,но они исправимы.В игру я наиграл больше 30 часов иКак и многие другие люди я ждал эту игру невероятно долго.День сменялся ночью ,а я не переставал думать но ней.Если примерно сравнить-это как первая влюблённость.Как только ты её видишь она кажется тебе незабываемо-красивой и это отчасти правда.Однако ,если прекратить мои аналогии,то можно сказать ,что у Cyberpunk 2077 есть масса проблем,но они исправимы.В игру я наиграл больше 30 часов и могу с уверенностью сказать,что она великолепна. There are some aspects of the game that are unfortunate like the fact you cant change your hairstyle and facial hair later in the game via a barber of some sorts. Graphics wise i had no issues besides needing to downgrade to 2560*1080 from my screensize of 3440*1440. but i wanted to achieve 60fps so had to make that choice + high settings.I find that the game is very entertaining.     In the game it's impossible to rebind the "interact/select" button which is set to F by default, this is a big problem for me because in videogames I usually use the numpad and not wasd.
    Also, the game has really bad performance issues, I need to mention it even if it doesn't bother me personally.


    I still think this game deserves a good rating, it has problems but I'm sure CDPR will fix them in the future.    … Expand

    A great game
    Special fighting and skill trees and one of the best new worlds created in games to the day. But lots of bugs and unpolished things don't let me to give 9 score. It's obvious the game is rushed and forced to release.we hope for good support and a good line of dlc to clear the bad feelings.

    This game does have its bugs and dips on fps at some parts of the city to 44 but in general didnt keep me from playing it had so much fun and enjoyed every single part of the combat and stori driving wasnt the best, graphics are also pretty good on pc

    Very great game, some minor bug on PC but still playable. It needs a lot of optimization, you need a GREAT pc for it to be beautiful.

    OK, the game has problems. The bugs are a lot but I trust that CDRP will fix them, The Wither 3 wasn't in a good spot when it released either but look where its now. If we don't look at the bugs the game is awesome, the city is stunning, the story is almost perfect, the gameplay is maybe the weakest part but its definitely not bad.

With an outstanding soundtrack full of banging tunes both in gameplay and just driving around in your car. The voice acting is stellar with particular note towards Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhands. Сюжетные диалоги живые и в целом классные. Будь у меня более крутое железо, я бы вообще не стал придираться к проблемам игры, которые конечно есть и переходим к ним.
    Гигантское количество НПС клонов, взаимодействия с НПС тупо нет и это на мой взгляд самый большой косяк игры. В игре очень глупый, нет, ТУПОЙ ИИ водителей. Они двигаются строго по одной линии, а когда входят в поворот так вообще смех. Также они не реагируют на события вокруг них, ты можешь устроить настоящую резню, а они будут стоять на светофоре и вообще пофиг. Они не останавливаются если ты выходишь на дорогу, тупо давят и едут как ни в чем ни бывало. Физика куда-то уходит когда ты на 200км/ч влетаешь в забор на мотоцикле и тебе остается болтаться как балванчик, хотя по идеи ты уже должен лежать на свалке. Почему не слизали с ГТА? Там уже была система подобных случаев, там даже через лобовуху можно вылететь, а тут косяк. Косяк с розыском, когда начинаешь творить беспредел, полиция ни выезжает за тобой, а материализуется прямо из имматериума, точно также в имматериум уходят машины стоящие в заторе вдалеке. К этому всему нужно ещё добавить много мелких багов.
    Подводя итог, игре надо ещё дозревать и она явно не была готова к релизу в апреле). Надеюсь РЭДЫ смогут поправить все неровности и игра станет по-настоящему шедевром. А также надеюсь на модеров, у игры гигантский потанцевал для народных умельцев)).    … Expand

    But after this first patch, the game got back on track again, and I was so happy for it, I have a simple computer with a gtx 1060 and a i5 7400, but even with this configuration playing Night City is delightful, the story and the fluid conversations made me fill inside a movie, like I was part of the story, and making the game in first person was a plus hit.
    The game still need many improvements, manly in the menu and inventory management, the fighting AI, still many bugs to fix, things that can easily be done with time, but the cyberpunk rpg is the best I ever seen, it makes you fill part of the story, is the type of game that you play slowly wishing to never end.
    Hope that I will be back in review after 6 months to give what this game really deserve a 10.    … Expand

    If it wasn't for all the release problems of this game, bugs, lags and etc. I'd have given this game 10/10 because of the story and the atmosphere that are breathtaking. The game's so interesting that you somehow continue playing it despite all the bugs you face which is why you should consider playing it maybe not now but in a month or two when most of them are fixed.

    The game is very beautiful, it has a very good narrative and strong characters, the melee combat could use a bit of polishing but bo complaints about the gunplay. Unfortunately the bugs and a quite bad AI hold back the full imersion and experience this game can offer, i'm sure these issues will be fixed but it is still quite dissapointing.

    Despite some minor visual glitches and bugs, Cyberpunk almost lives up to the loft expectations set upon it. Particular game mechanics e.g. driving, police AI and interactivity in the environment could be improved I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Night City.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I HAVE BEATEN THE GAME AND I AM IRRITATED AS HELL (but not for reasons you would think). I am clocking in at 50 hours for the game and am ready to write my review (almost going to be my first for this website so yay me).

    The game dynamics are really nice. First is combat:
    The gunplay in this game is really nice. I wish that they'd increase the fire rate for enemies so that if you let yourself get caught out of cover it's a bit more punishing, but the different weapon classes and individual weapons in each class keep themselves diverse enough that you have many different options that are all satisfying in different ways. For example, I love being able to whip out my legendary explosive "Grad" and rocking someone's chicklets into the back of their mouth with a high-velocity incendiary round, just to immediately turn around and yank a sneaky NPC's legs out from under them with a rail-accelerated shotgun, then execute the now renamed Stumpy with my handgun that is protected by the Second Amendment while simultaneously violating the Geneva Convention. Speaking of, the cyberware. It's broken. Monowire is clunky but powerful enough to just sweep groups of enemies like dust-bunnies into a trash bin, the mantis blades' favorite passtime is the metaphorical raping of anything carrying a discernible pulse, the gorilla fists bring a whole new meaning to "fingerblasting", and the arm-mounted artillery cannon offers enough firepower to make almost any ranged weapon obsolete. The first three make carrying melee weapons pointless in terms of stats. The only reason you would actually use a melee weapon when you have monowire or mantis blades is just to use something different, for variety, but stat-wise you're almost assuredly losing DPS. The AI is a bit questionable. Melee AI is actually great and I think CDPR did a real good job of letting melee enemies not allow you to cheese by dodging super early or just stay out of range, but some things are iffy. Like certain enemies being able to melee you while you're double-jumped inot the air way out of reach. If you're fighting a particularly strong enemy, typically the bosses or cyberpsychos, the name of the game is **** them from a roof". Once you're on a roof or just somewhere higher than the enemy with even the slightest bit of cover, then you've won. There's virtually no way for the enemy to fight you. Self-preservation of enemies is pretty good though and it makes it so that you actually have to be tactical enough to avoid getting destroyed at higher levels.
    Second: Side Quests and Open World
    The side quests are nice extra little tidbits of story that often happen outside of your main story, but that doesn't mean some won't affect it. When you get certain side quests from certain NPCs (you should know which ones) they can affect your main story, primarily the ending. When you wanna take a break from seeing how bleak your outlook is with Johnny involuntarily skull-****ing you to death with his 1s and 0s 18-inch destroyer, the side quests and gigs are nice. They're a big boost to loot, xp, street cred, and money. Something you need often. As for the open world, crowds are a nice addition that were executed well, outside of large chunks sometimes disappearing when you look away from them. The occasional funny T-pose is acceptable since the game has to calculate what each NPC is doing and where they're going all at once in these crowds, so some AIs just stop working. The little blue objectives (gangs, assault, evidence) are also large boosts to your stats and really help you keep your money up in later game. They are both a boon and a curse as they provide arguable most of your resources, but grinding them too long also makes them very painful after a while and can take you away from the story and thrills for too long if you're having to grind for cash.
    Finally: The Story
    And acting
    The story wasn't as enthralling as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it's a good story, great even when you think about what it really is and represents, especially at certain key points where you REALLY need to think about the decisions you're making, but it was really short and some moments did take a bit longer to do than they needed to. Some characters were also just absolutely forgettable and didn't need to be there, like Brigitte and The Animals. Literally two quests with them and then they didn't matter. But at other moments, when you're connecting more with Johnny and you start to just spill to each other, or when you're at the final decision and you have to figure out what you want to do about your lives, the game really shines and absolutely just rips me in.
    Overall, the game is really good, despite some of its bugs that were comical at their best and slightly inconveniencing at their worst. I give the game an 8.5 out of 10, which almost hurts me to say as I had extremely high hopes for the studio and the game, especially since I gave Ghost of Tsushima a 9    … Expand

    it seems that that the game was not meant for base consoles. I'm playing on a cheap pc with low/med settings. I knew my ps4 would not have been enough for this game. I'm almost at 30hrs and haven't come across super aggressive bugs, I have been doing lots of side quests and whatnot so this may be the reason why. I'm having a blast, giving 8 because I know there are lots of bugs even if Iit seems that that the game was not meant for base consoles. I'm playing on a cheap pc with low/med settings. I knew my ps4 would not have been enough for this game.     I've been very fortunate to not have had many issues on the base PS4. Aside from a few crashes after certain segments, I'm enjoying myself. Looking forward to seeing what this becomes on the PS5.

    Playing on XSX, the game is great. The bugs are not intolerable, the graphics are not as good as I hoped, but with tweaking TV and HDR settings, it does look acceptable. The meat of the game, the story and gameplay, is phenomena though!

    Playing it on PS5. I absolutely love the presentation and the characters. The way the story is told and the overall feeling just hooked me from the start. Still what I have to say the Console version has its issues which pulls me out of the immersion way too much . One thing that I have say though is that imo CDPR should not have pushed CP2077 onto the PS4/XBO. These 6 year old consoles are just not capable of properly handle such a beast of a game.     No spoilers. I will start by saying I was a huge CP2020 and shadowrun nut in the 90s so this game is like coming home for me.

    the good: storyline so far. I am in the middle of act 2 and it feels very orgamic to the world I remember. people say it is not an RPG and it is not but it is an cyberpunk game. I have had to move on atleast 3 quests because of clipping issues. every once in a while you shoot a bad guy and s/he falls off the map or becaomes inacessable. only option is to restart. the map is also over the top complicated. I have to travel huge distances to find an item or store to purchase what I need but the screen is jam packed with icons I have to read a 5 page legend to decipher. the ability to turn off and on items you are looking for would be useful.

    The ugly: the intro tutorial. I have had to, on 5 different occasions, had to google a control or keybind to do something like switch weapons or turn off scanning because I accidentally hit the wrong button. key bindings list does not cover every use of every button.

    all and all a good game and I am looking forward to the patches DLC to resolve some of the roughness.    … Expand

    Unfortunately I know about the problem on consoles, but on the PC the problems aren't so serious. The storyline is awesome, scenarios are incredible, quests, all about this game is great. Bug are common at this stage, but CD Red probably fix it soon...On PC. Cyberpunk will be even more optimized on the PC, so you shouldn't worry about it, remember how it was with The Witcher 3

    I've heard and seen some of the issues affecting consoles, however I'm on decent speced pc and haven't had any of these. I'll give CDPR the benefit of the doubt that they will work to fix any known bugs and the like.

    Xbox one x player and it plays very well on my external ssd. Yes there are bugs but it's not game breaking. Very immersive, great graphics. Its worth the money on xbox one x or series x, maybe not on xbox one, or xbox one s.

Yes, I'm aware of all the negative backslash, bugs, performance issues, and the rightfully criticized previous gen console release. But I enjoyed it despite some stuff I expected to be (and as CD PR advertised) there is absent. Great story with even better presentation, great characters, robust open world, decent shooting and stealth, heavy customization in game play etc. makes this game great. I was disappointed with the lackluster RPG elements, though. Not bad, but they could have been better, especially compared to TW3. Still, it's worth giving a shot, maybe after a majority of bugs are fixed.… Expand

Lots of bugs and glitches. The choice affects only at the end of the game , and the rest of the time the choice does not affect anything. But I liked the story. The graphics are gorgeous, this is a new generation of graphics (+RTX, dllss). Therefore, the game is quite demanding. This can be seen in the past gen consoles, they can no longer pull the game as cyberpunk to be playable. There are a lot of bugs,Expectations were met.     Look yeah, it is buggy as **** but that doesn't mean it deserves to get review bombed. CDPR has already released a 17 GB patch and more on the way. And if you look past the bugs, it's an incredibly entertaining game with a great RPG system, great combat and a great story

    A lot of bugs, but it still great gameplay and storytelling! Hope that CD Project will fix this problems and this game will become really iconic=)

    I played this on my ps4 pro. I experienced some bugs but no where near the ones I've read about. And in my opinion the bugs I experienced are a small and get quickly drowned out by the beautiful graphics, large and always populated city, amazing story, and unbelievably amazing progression system the game offers. But like all games it has its short comings. Which is fine, the patches are coming out and the game will only get better. after 10 years of production we still got an amazing game. To all the negative reviews, all I can say is the patches are coming CD Project Red is good for it and you know it. Besides with the sheer amount of replay ability this game offers your lying to your self if you think you wont at least try the game again with a new life path. First of all I have seen a bunch of reviews that say “Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t live up to its hype” but no game ever lives up to its hype, people expected this game to like cure their cancer or something but it doesn’t they are just over exaggerating. But in my opinion Cyberpunk is really good even though I wasn’t hyped for it I loved it the story is very long and if your bored I suggest you buy this game it’s very big and long I love it. The creativity and customization is crazy especially the city once you see the city you’ll be amazed of how good it looks. But yet there is way more than that and it’s crazy the guns are intense I can really see that they put a lot of work into it. I really enjoyed the cars too they are very cool to drive and just see the world while your in a bad ass car . But I highly suggest this game it is so worth your 60$.… Expand

    For the pros: The game runs really smoothly for me, even on my Nvidia GTX 1060 6G. The gunplay is pretty innovative, and it's pretty similar to Destiny 2's gunplay. The story is absolutely beautiful. The first Act throws so many curve-balls at you, and then the second Act creates + reinforces you and Johnny's relationship. Johnny's character and his goals are honestly brilliant, and the work so well with V's goals.

    For the cons: The game constantly has some minor visual bugs, like NPCs T-posing, mouths not moving during cutscenes, items floating in mid air, etc. I am yet to experience a single crash or gamebreaking bug, though I was flung one time while driving around on my motorcycle. if CDPR updates the game's bugs, I'll definitely re-review the game and give it a 9, or even 10. It's a great game, it is just bogged down by **** bugs and what not.    … Expand

Other than these two issues, the story left me wanting more. I beat this game way too quick; even with side quests! I was expecting it to take longer than Death Stranding, which took me 35 hours with only the main story. This game took me approx. 16 hours to beat just going through the main story, unfortunately. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it, though. I just wish there was more main story than side quests.… Expand

    There are a lot of bugs but in MOST cases its not gamebreaking, but in some it is and then you have to reload a file or restart the game... but the rest... its a stunning world, and a very cool story, I played for a about 40 hours now and I really really really enjoy it! but I also understand people that give this game a mixed review because the bugs and graphics can be super frustrating.

    Almost breathtaking. Good game, fun and satisfying. Great graphics, storytelling and gameplay. It is not perfect though: bugs and crash (for now) and poor AI and lacking immersive activities/interactions with the city/people (not sure this can/will be fixed...).

    PC version - I still have not finished the game but I am having a blast playing. I am over 8 hours in and despite a couple of often hilarious bugs I have had no serious issues. Unfortunately those bugs sometimes do occur together and require reloading a save or rebooting the game. The story is a bit shallow at times but it's been a compelling and awesome play thus far and it looks andPC version - I still have not finished the game but I am having a blast playing.     El juego no está para que le pongan un 0, porque tiene mucho trabajo puesto ahí. Pero tampoco un 10. El juego tiene mucho potencial, y seguramente con el tiempo, correcciones y parches vayan mejorando y corrigiendo dando un producto espectacular.     Buggy yet beautiful. While the game lacks a certain level of polish that the pre-launch media presented it has no doubt achieved it's purpose of being a heavily story-driven RPG based in cyberpunk future.

    I have now played around 45 hours of this game and I’d say I’m probably around... a third to a half finished with the game. I will say that so far, I absolutely adore the game. As someone who has played the tabletop for years and truly enjoyed it and the lore, this has been incredible! I get to play a character I’ve always imagined and played tabletop and it is truly thrilling. I haveI have now played around 45 hours of this game and I’d say I’m probably around... a third to a half finished with the game. I will say that so far, I absolutely adore the game. As someone who has played the tabletop for years and truly enjoyed it and the lore, this has been incredible! I get to play a character I’ve always imagined and played tabletop and it is truly thrilling. I have built a character that relies on mantis blades and quick hacking to take out entire swaths of enemies before they can even see me (I shut down their vision) and it is absolutely delightful. I love how the game looks. I love the city. The gunplay is actually surprisingly good and the combat makes you feel so excited. And the stories the game tells are also wonderful, I love getting to know the characters. I absolutely plan to finish the game and probably play it again.


    So, all of this being said, and I do highly recommend the game, there is a caveat: do NOT buy on Xbox One or PS4. CD Projekt said they could get it functional and from what I’ve seen they absolutely have not. Give it 6 months and check again but as of now I wouldn’t. Furthermore, the game is quite buggy. I haven’t had any game breaking bugs yet or any crashes BUT I have had a few frustrating bugs that broke immersion. Also turn cascading shadows down on PC to medium. It kills your FPS. Speaking of FPS, every time I look into a mirror my FPS also tanks for whatever reason? Like down to 30FPS and I don’t know why, lol. Anyway. Also, the way CD Projekt limited reviews until the day of was also really messed up, but that isn’t on the game itself, more so on the company.

    Overall I’d say that if you’re coming into the game with standard expectations, it’s a good game. You will enjoy it. I think the biggest problem with so many people is they set ridiculous expectations and compare the game to games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and say SEE the game sucks... yes. Somehow the game sucks because it doesn’t match aspects of one of the most impressive games ever made. It’s ridiculous. Look if you want the best game ever published in the world that will change your life, enforce religion on your family and save your marriage, this isn’t for you. It’s a good game. A solid 8/10 in my opinion. It has its problems but CDPK games always do. And they always fix them. For those of you who also played TW2 and 3 you know how they were at launch. Anyway. I’ve never reviewed before but the bombing here is absolutely ridiculous. It’s a game. CDPK overhyped it because ALL companies do that, They are trying to make money. but it is on US to enjoy them or not for what they are, not get overhyped and get upset when it fails to live up to said hype. If you like the Cyberpunk universe or just looking for a game with a powerful storyline and a pretty awesome city to take in (and play on PC to be honest) absolutely give it a go!    … Expand

    I'm enjoying my time with cyberpunk. I am fortunate to have a higher end pc so the game plays pretty well for me. Missions are great. Story is great. City is good. Some visual bugs. Some missing NPCs that I need to reload to get to spawn. police and city driving ai are pretty not very good though to say the least. Overall the bugs I get do break immersion but aren't ruining my experience.

    Despite the large amount of bugs I found myself still enjoying the game as the world, characters and gameplay are quite unique and really pull you in with a solid story. The bugs will be fixed eventually but they do hinder the game a lot.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
