    Been playing for a couple of hours and so far not a single bug or graphical issue. Running on an 9th gen i5, 16GB ddr4 ram and a gtx 1660 super at 1080p. Thoroughly enjoying it so far. Story and gameplay are excellent, as well as the general atmosphere and setting

    Excellent.

    After 120 hours of mercenary shenanigans, conspiracies and heart aching drama alongside V and Silverhand, this is one of the few games that I wish I could forget I ever played... Just so that I could then play it all over again for the first time. Definitely got that post game depression after this one. My ending was depressing as all hell, but also hopeful with    Excellent.

    Definitely got that post game depression after this one.

    My ending was depressing as all hell, but also hopeful with somewhat of a cliffhanger. Can't wait for the expansions!

    Amazing characters and voice acting, especially from Cherami Leigh who manages to keep the "cool" voice and also be very expressive.

    In my opinion female V is absolutely the way to go.

    Love Keanu in it and the evolution of their relationship (depending on your choices) throughout the game.

    Its definitely important to complete the gigs and side quests before pushing the main story, even if it seems to conflict with the idea of limited time, because Johnny chippin' in with thoughts on all the crazy jobs you find yourself doing plays a part in their character development.

    Also, as much as I enjoyed the main story, the side quests and even the gigs have great stories to them. Some very memorable stuff in there.

    I don't usually enjoy the busy side work in games, like seemingly endless filler content, but the gigs felt like little Deus Ex levels. Couldn't get enough of them and I loved their backstories.

    LOVE this game. To me this was better than Witcher 3, but I am more into cyberpunk than fantasy.    … Expand

    31 hours of gaming are behind me, impressions are great. NightCity is huge, overwhelming and well designed.

    Pros:
    - city
    - gunplay
    - surprisingly good driving mechanics (with dualshock4)
    - story
    - stealth mechanics
    - sound
    - amazing graphics

    Cons:
    - errors in physics
    - inventory interface

    What a masterpiece this game is. I see people giving AC Valhalla 10, even with its copy and paste, boring grindfest design. If Valhalla is a 10 then this is somewhere in the hundreds. CDPR dreamt big, and although nothing would live up to the hype this game got, the writing, city, character development, and immersion is like nothing I have ever experienced in over 20 years of gaming. CDPR fixed The Witcher 3 after it released with a lot of bugs and frame rate problems on console and I have no doubt, due to their track record, that they will do the same with this game.… Expand

    That is the best game I have played in years. It is wonderful, I am absolutely in love. Of course it has some bugs here and there but I can forgive this game absolutely everything. Beautiful city, great shooting, awesome and emotional story. Phenomenal game, one of a kind. Game is not perfect, because there is no perfect game but Every penny I spend is worth it.

    Это просто потрясающе, давно я так не погружался в мир и атмосферу, прекрасно созданное будущее. Очень впечатлила система прокачки, сюжет - бомба, персонажи колоритные, озвучка чёткая. Конечно в наличии много рпг условностей, вроде футболки с броней больше чем у бронежилета, но главное что это всё работает и не влияет на восприятие. Спасибо большое CDPR за прекрасный подарок на новый год,Это просто потрясающе, давно я так не погружался в мир и атмосферу, прекрасно созданное будущее.     How to have this game look good and run good:
    1. get it on Computer (or next gen console but I'm unfamiliar with NGC's hardware specs)
    2. Have a PC that would run basically any game on ultra
    3. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ACTIVATE DLSS

    oh, and entirely unrelated but a side note nonetheless, my gawd I can't wait for the DLCs!!!    … Expand

    Just a really good game, better than TLOU 2 for sure. Bugs? Lol every game has bugs, skyrim beiong market for how many years? Having much more bugs than cyberpunk on release. Optimiisaion? lol if you playing on a toaster in next gen game - ofc your wooden PC can't handle it. Mine i9-9900k + RTX 2080super having over 110-130 fps (outdoors and indoors) on high settings with 1440p, so stopJust a really good game, better than TLOU 2 for sure. Bugs?     I love this game a lot, it's beautiful and interesting, so many details, great story and side quests. I miss such games after other's game companies' **** that bring only disappointment

    A bad and buggy game will always be terrible. But a stunning and sometimes buggy game is still an awesome game!
    This is the best tipleA RPG that I ever played, so full of content and details, so full that it fills my eyes the entire time.
    I'm playing fine in 1080p on high with i5 and 2060Super and the bugs that I had where just small things that didn't affect my gameplay, I'm sure that    A bad and buggy game will always be terrible. But a stunning and sometimes buggy game is still an awesome game!

    Game crushed actually 2 times while playing 30 hours in total. Personally did had one bug, when the elavator doors didn’t want to open. Cyberpunk world is just perfect. Don’t understand the hate going around

    Personally I think this is a whole new level of a video games designing. My PC is pretty strong so optimization problems don't include me although yes - there are a lot of graphic glitches, but i haven't experienced as many of them as described by the others. The story is just amazing and addictive. Dialogues are natural and well written. Night City is one of the best designed cities in whole industry. Driving model? It's ok. First available cars are frustrating, but it feels good when you'll buy more expensive cars. Mixed feelings about shooting though. Cyberpunk is mostly RPG, not FPS so you won't one shot enemies. It is often compared to Borderlands model of shooting. I'm using sniper riffle which allows me to one shot enemies so it doesn't really influences me, but i've got to admit that you can feel power in those weapons despite enemies are "sponges". Well designed skill system that allows you to play your way, but don't make you to take useless skills like skill trees does, Minuses? Glitches (but i guess this is 2months to go) and working problems on weaker PC's, minimap (Witcher 3 experience - too much question marks and low readability), some scripted scenarios, too much loot. Pluses? Goddamn story (try side quests they're even better than main storyline), small details (you know that youtube videos about witcher 3 secrets five years after release? It gotta be same with cyberpunk), city design, skills, and a lot more. Conclusion? If you like Witcher 3, you'll love Cyberpunk (and i've never liked sci-f and always loved fantasy so i'm surprising myself with this conclusion). Maybe yes, wait couple of months until it's playable, but really guys TRY IT because this is indescribable experience that sets a bar even higher.… Expand

    The main problem with this game is it doesn't work. It really doesn't matter how good the game is. If the game doesn't work the content doesn't matter. Also they lied us at the trailers and they didn't show us the old gen console graphics. My console crashes in a specific quest that I can't continue the game. I really want to play even in 5 fps but it doesn't work. 1.4 patch didn't solveThe main problem with this game is it doesn't work. It really doesn't matter how good the game is. If the game doesn't work the content doesn't matter. Also they lied us at the trailers and they didn't show us the old gen console graphics.     The most addictive game I have ever played. Unforgettable atmosphere and story, great weapon choice and crafting. Great progression system. Just after the launch experiencing only minor graphical glitches. Hope people will calm down a bit after patches are released (especially for consoles) and can have fun and appreciate this gem.

A lot of what I've seen complaining about jank in combat etc, is really just the standard dice-rolling mechanics of an rpg (why does everyone think all RPGs have to be competitive shooters now?) and as you level up you're dice rolls improve. I can understand the frustration at bugs and crashes (but really look at the game how was it ever going to run on your 11-year olf gen-5 card? that's on you. min specs exist for a reason, tech moves on.) but get past that and you have a true wonder of storytelling experience

    PC player here. The game is literally the evolution of guest and narrative design in motion. Yes, It is buggy here and there but i believe the game will be in top shape sooner than we think. Bugs can be fixed while stories can't and Cyberpunk 2077 has a helluva story(s) to tell. The amount of tought that went into the game is just insane.     This game is a masterpiece. The city is alive, everywhere you look there is something going on. I can pratically breathe the air of Night City. The characters you interact are full of details, their own personality, their own way of dealing with things.

    V is an excellent lead character with so much potential depth

I can't wait to play this through over and over again trying out all the different options and choices. It may take a beast of a PC to play on, but oh if you have it, it's AMAZING.     I'm a player from the 80, i played tones of less or more buggy games, but i have not played such a good buggy game ever. It is Miles ahead of Skyrim, but bugs are not game-breaking. I Love the experience i get, complexity of character building and storytelling is exceptional.     By far the best game i have ever played and by the best company in the industry that care about there players. yes there are a few small bugs here and there rare i might add but these will be fixed nothing that ruins the gameplay or story.

It's an awesome rpg game, but avoid the old gen version and buy it when you can afford a next gen console or a good pc, don't get wasted with the hype and use your brain.… Expand

    I can't speak for everyone, but my experience with this game has been amazing. Although my PS4 Slim has had a few "hiccups", it hasn't detracted from the overall experience of this incredible game. The city sounds, the ever-changing population on the streets, the weather effects,...all of this has created an immersive environment that I have never seen before.     I dont know how the game looks and feel with lower settings, but with Ultra settings and RT it just feels so great with 60fps. I love this game and i only had minor bugs. No bugs breaking the game for me.

    You can wait until the 2021 summer sale but you know, you will go crazy when someone spoils the game.
    So play for the story right now. And play it again when they fix the bugs.

    The ambience is amazing, feeling dwarfed by mega towers, while running through the makeshift cabins of the poor folk at the bottom. No matter where you look, it's brimming with life. All the regions have their characteristic cultural look and feel.
    As CDPR said, the world doesn't revolve around the player, in the greater scheme of things the players actions are dwarfed by the corpo power and the gangs that run the streets, you're just along for the ride and scraping by.
    This game isn't for everyone, but for the people that love Cyberpunk and roleplaying games, I think it's currently second to none.
    Regarding the rough state of the game: yea, it has bugs, yes it feels unfinished, but ultimately, the same was the case for games like Skyrim and the witcher 3.
    The real question is, is the game fun regardless, and my answer is a clear cut HELL YEA!

    For people with lower end systems, or that are easy irritated by small bugs, maybe wait a few weeks or months, optimization and bug fixing is in progress, I received 2 or 3 patches already.    … Expand

    Incredibly detailed world, good story and interesting characters. Very good graphics, runs well on my nearly 5 year old gaming PC (graphics card updated 3y ago). I have only experienced minor glitches or bugs, no crashes or game stopping errors (30h of game play). Strongly recommended for any computer RPG or cyberpunk fans. Opinion is based on PC version.

    Just the best game of the year. People complain about it not running on their gtx 970 but based on the graphics this is just pure nonsense. Last but not least you should mainly play this game for the main story and the side-quest. Gameplay is good but not overwhelming.

    This game is worth every dollar spent and every day of waiting, and it does not have perfect optimization, but it will get better with patches, as it was with Witcher 1, 2 and 3. The game has an amazing storyline and millions of little things that will surely hook and interest you. It may not be 10/10, but 9/10 more than deserves, and +1 point for all hate comments 0/10.

    Despite the significant amount of bugs and glitches, after having played over 40 hours on a base PS4 I have to say this game phenomenal but still with a lot of space to improve, which Im certain they will do like with their previous games. 10/10 and waiting impatiently for the next big updates and expansions in the future !

    What CDPR showed with Witcher 3, was that they could write a good story. What CDPR is showing with Cyberpunk, is that they can also make enjoyable mechanics. I'm 65ish hours into the game as of this review, and absolutely in love.

    Bought this game without any expectations.
    After 30 hours of amazing story a love this game.
    There are graphical glitches but a didn't get any problem with gameplay.
    My ryzen 5 2600 and geforce rtx 2060 give me about all ultra setting (without rtx and dlss) and this is awesome

My favourite games are ones that have rich storylines and excellent voice-acting (in both the main storyline and side quests), and this game really delivers on that front.     The game is good, The Witcher 3 had the same sort of problems at launch, and they are all fixed now, CDPR wont forget about the game, they'll fix it. They should've Delayed it again, but the same people that are giving it zeroes are the people that were outraged about the delays. Giving it a 10 to somewhat counteract the zeroes that aren't deserved.

Rage was a horrid looking mess. Don't come near a texture or you see your eyes develop some kind of cataract. And the story, oh my.... like Destiny most bland sh*t I've seen in ages. Or anything that comes after Borderlands 2... don't get me startet there. I've been aching a good FPS Roleplay in a Future Setting since the old Deus Ex. So much detail in this big ass city of a map. Even noodel shops to get stuck in, i mean, come on! Understand the frustration, though. Anything under a 1080 ti and 9th gen i7 will get you a lot of sad blurry messes to chew on. But if you have a half decent pc. (And yes if you have anything lower than that, why you even bother expecting a decent look out of this kind of games. This ain't the first times, $500 budget potatos can distinguish in modern FPS, if you shooting a face or a glorified blowupdoll, as far as i'm concerned. Anyway: Love this game to bits. I'm at my second playthrough. And disregarding some minor glitches a save reload can handle this game is my best for 2021.… Expand

    Gaming rig is 2 yrs old. Cost was ~$1200 CAD. Playing on ultra with 60fps and have enjoyed every moment so far. Can't wait to get back into the matrix, Keanu and all.

    The game is good when you put the bugs aside. I played for 17 hours and encountered only 3 bugs. Other than that, you can sometimes pass inside NPCs and cars. Models can sometimes appear low quality (very low poly). It is likely to recover after 3-5 seconds, so why the game requires ssd. Optimization is good, my GTX 1050 4GB vram laptop loads up great. I'm using the 1080p Low (Textures Ultra, Color setting high, everything else low, 50% Static scaling) settings. I get 35-50 FPS when driving in the open world (I did not go to the desert, only night city), I get 30-55 FPS indoors, in crowded places 20-25 FPS (CPU 100% graphics card in crowded places 80 %- 90). In the first 10 hours, the game ran stable, but after Prolouge, real bugs started. Sometimes I had to exit the game and re-enter. I've never had a crash from Autosaves (interesting). The car mechanics and physics are good but the camera angle (I'm talking tps) was a bit of a problem for me. Sometimes the physics engine can be troubled. The story is the best, no need to tell anyway, I played as street kid, the story is wrapped up me like crazy, I have occasional requests to continue the missions (they did what gta couldn't) Musics are ear orgasm. In short, the game is at an early access level for me. I give a score of 10/10 until the bugs are fixed in 3-5 months. If not resolved, my score may drop to 7-8/10.… Expand

    I'm enjoying the game immensely. The story, voice acting, and graphics are top tier. There are elements in this game I've never experienced in other games so I feel this game does push the bar higher for future works. Disclosure: I play on a i7-6700k with 1080gtx.

    Excellent Game, playing on Xsex with patch 1.04 and it runs pretty stable, amazing graphics, atmosphere, everything GOTY.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
