    Already 40 hours into the game and just scratched the surface. Playing on pc, with a mid-end pc and the game is very optimized it runs on ultra settings as default. (I'll talk bugs later)

    The story it's just great, not just the main one, but the side ones too. Driving it's a lot of fun and I'm not a car games fan, so it's shooting.     Now, about the bugs, who playied the witcher 3 already knows CDPR will provide to fix all the bugs and make the game perfect, if I have to give a bad score for some launch bugs, I'll never had playied Bethesda games, loosing a change to enjoy some of the best games ever made. Cyberpunk at it's core it's great, mechanics and story (and you can't fix them if broken), the bugs will go.    … Expand

    Out of bugs, glitches and some AI problems, This game deserves 10/10 for its heavy immersion, rpg mechanics and graphics. Well done cdpr.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is the first person RPG shooter I’ve been waiting for my whole life. The graphics amazes me and blow my mind. I can’t wait for what is game will give us in the future updates.     People who give this game ones expected to play it on their 10y/o PC's, and now call it a scam. Grow up.

    Game is incredible, story is incredibly engaging, with mood boosted by great music. It has various different mechanics and provides many hours of great fun.

    the game is technically not perfect, but the story is beautiful! Minor bugs are encountered but they are funny to play and do not interfere.

I am aware this game has released in a very buggy state, however, I can only comment on my personal experiences, playing with a relatively high-end PC. This game was clearly not finished, but it chugs along well enough on my hardware that after 40 hours, I have only had a few bugs, and none of them game-breaking.

    This game is rivaled only in world-building by the Witcher 3, CDPR know how to create a world and tell a story. The graphics are phenomenal, the voice acting splendid, the quests electrifying.

    I understand people are upset the game released in a clearly unfinished state, however, in 6-8 months, it will be running how we know CDPR can make it run. And rating the game based on its artistic merits, its ability to immerse and amaze, and it's more than sufficiently fun gameplay mechanics, it is an easy 10, and one of the most special games of all time.

    Rating this game a 1 is petulant and immature, but what else do you expect from the most vocal "gamers" in 2020.    … Expand

    The story is a masterpiece, the graphics and the gameplay is excellent. I had a couple of minor bugs but it is ok. Of course I am playing the game on pc that is why I don't have problems.

    I was waiting for this RPG for one player game. It was optimized for my old !Laptop! with gpu GTX 1070. I get my 35-40 fps with resolution 1440 p, high graphic settings. I'm suppose that I'm old school player and off-line rpg in new world is perfect for me. F you have PC just try it. T is the best game which I have lay in this year.

    What I liked: incredibly beautiful and detailed world, incredible interesting characters, the plot is very attractive. I played 60 hours and I can't stop.

    I completed the story and I totally disagree with what people say. It's a great game with interesting story and great gameplay. Ending was very touching. It just needs a little bit of fixing. Even my friend came to my house thinking that this game is a total trash. He played for 2 hours and totally changed his mind. I can't wait to see the DLC's. Summarizing: I got what I paid for and evenI completed the story and I totally disagree with what people say. It's a great game with interesting story and great gameplay. Ending was very touching.     After playing this game twice now, I have come to the conclusion that it's one hell of a game. A very solid RPG, with incredibly well written stories and very well balanced gunplay. The world itself is like nothing I've seen in a game. A metropolitan city of towering buildings and dank slums, makes it one of the most atmospheric open world games I've ever played. After over 100 hours ofAfter playing this game twice now, I have come to the conclusion that it's one hell of a game. A very solid RPG, with incredibly well written stories and very well balanced gunplay. The world itself is like nothing I've seen in a game. A metropolitan city of towering buildings and dank slums, makes it one of the most atmospheric open world games I've ever played. After over 100 hours of gameplay, it's still a game that is breath-taking to look at. It's not without it's faults however. It's commonly known that it has a lot of bugs. These have been mostly corrected now and I have never experienced anything game breaking, thankfully. I understand that some people are annoyed by bugs or the game running badly on old machines. However, gaslighting the game and it's RPG elements, are one to ignore. Just go play this game for yourself and make your own mind up.… Expand

    About 15 hours in and have not had one glitch, bug, or crash. A truly beautiful game with a deep story. I love all the characters, the world, the gameplay, it’s just as I thought it be. This is a must buy game

    Before writing this review, I played CP2077 for approx. 25 hours, and should say that PC version is quite good.
    I've seen many posts and videos about the bad optimization for PS4/Xbox, and I fully agree with those guys, but we all forgot one important thing - this was 2020, you know.
    Even the game launch was delayed, even the expectations were soo high, we should keep in mind, that    Before writing this review, I played CP2077 for approx. 25 hours, and should say that PC version is quite good.

    Even the game launch was delayed, even the expectations were soo high, we should keep in mind, that working on such big project is a huge challenge, especially during the covid stuff and remote work.

    Personally, I've seen some bugs even on the PC version, I also got FPS drops on RTX3080 - but the game isn't only the technical part - it's about the story. And the story is great. And the city is great (yeah, we know that it looks empty on consoles, but hope it will be fixed somehow in the upcoming patches). The quests are really interesting, and this is valid for side-stuff as well.
    It feels like Fallout & sometimes like my beloved Mass Effect, so just for those emotions I'll put 10/10 for the game, neglecting launch issues.
    Of course I would recommend to have the 1st experience on PC, because you have much more control over the settings, so you could get stable 30fps, or even 50-60 fps with a good quality.

    And just because the Witcher series was so cool, just because we've been waiting for so long, I could excuse technical issues and say congrats to CDPR for this great game - because that's what I'll be playing during the new year holidays :)    … Expand

    Gran juego. Reinventa los mundos abiertos de manera vertical. Gameplay muy adictivo. Historias principales y secundarias sobresalientes. Recomendado. Más de 40 hrs de juegos sin encontrar bugs o cracheos después de su última actualización cerca de mediados del 2021.

    Looks amazing love the storyline aslong as you play on the pc it's a amazing game my expectations weren't so high like other ppl so I'm not disappointed I think alot of ppl had a unrealistic idea of the game so it wasn't gonna succeed anyway I'm glad I bought the game and I'll definitely recommend you play it on pc

    After a hundred hours playing the game i can say this is the game i´ve waiting for since forever (and i play games since early 90´s). It´s a shame the failed launch, the problems on the past console generation... but i´ve never experienced a game of this quality.     I wanna start with the cons:
    - Big horizontal open world. The city is huge, and I mean it! Every district overflow with life and events, its own secrets, stashes and Its awesome. Its not that big as witchers map, if we talking about being wide, but its definitely taller if I could say so.
    - The atmosphere. CD red did an amazing job on cyberpunk universe and I fell in love with Night City, with Badlands. Every detail about infrastructure, people, media is amazing. You really feel that the city and the world around you living.
    - Quests. Like as always, storytelling, side jobs and misc quests are its own kind of art.
    - Characters. I fell in love with story characters, Jackie, Takemura, Judy, Panam, Johnny, Victor and many others. You definitely getting attached to them through gameplay.
    - Gunfight, Hacking, Melee. In general - every aspect of that is 1010.
    - Story. This is a new universe that CD Projekt introduce us to. The main story tightly bounded with side quests and completing both main and side jobs make you understand the whole story that is happening around you.

    Well, now for the Cons:
    - Story. Again? Yes. As far as I can say, its short, bittersweet and felt rushed. Maybe it because I played 40 hours straight not having a decent sleep and was playing cyberpunk only. On the other way I felt like I was limited to my decisions, there was lack of more interesting outcomes in dire situations, yet I felt that tiny changes affects my run. Yet, I felt like guys wanted to add more to the story line, to the world but felt rushed.
    - Cops. Call me a party pooper, but I expected more from law authorities. Why they spawn right behind me when I kill a bystander? I really would like to see a bit of UX improvements with cops behavior.
    - AI (all AI). Sometimes AI does great, sometimes npcs acting dumb, but I think its inherited from previous games)). Enemy behavior is mostly: Get to coverrush you with a meleehack you if you are too farshoot from the coverstand right in front of you and shoot. Its acceptable. But I happend to see enemies tryin to shoot me through the wall, stairs or simply ignoring me and staring into the abyss.
    - Crafting, I dunno its purpose and it felt useless. but maybe it was for me only.

    Not the con, but: i really wanted to see more search quests like it was with notes, or hearing something from people like it was in witcher.

    THE MAIN REASON I WAS WRITING THIS REVIEW is not for the game as it is for gaming community and for the developers, and I hope you read it well.
    (yeah, yeah, we all know that but hear me out, you are gonna understand, specially if you are console player).
    Game is bugged and we know that. It's bugged cause we are rushed developers to release it, yet it would be bugged if it was given proper QA and one more year of development, but this is not a point. This is what happens when you try to rush a developer, and this is what happens when the guys who make calls for production, marketing, thinks its a great Idea to release game too early knowing that devs didnt finish it yet. Crunches, death threats, delays. And here is the result.

    Gamers, you cry that game is bugged? Well, its your problem. You all rushed it, now take it.
    Console players are crying cause their buckets of bolts cannot run next-gen game on ps4 or xOne? What you expect from a peace of gear from stone-age?
    I really hope you will understand that you are not entitled to even butthurt about it, cause you knew that it was not ready yet.

    Production company and whoever calls for release inside Projekt Red. Crunches, early release dates even when you knew that game is not ready? I really wanted to see game go TBA and be treated well but it seems you tried to put everything on marketing.

    Devs. You are the badass mfkers. My infinite thank you and respect for busting your asses to make this Art. I know that some time after, people will really appreciate this game and I know that you'll fix it and will make it even better. Cant wait to see what dlcs and multiplayer will look like.

    10/10 loved it!

    imo the characters and storyline are 100% worth getting the game for, and i've had a lot of fun playing it. would definitely recommend. i think if they'd given it another year (or even half a year) of development the launch would have gone more smoothly but here we are. i still enjoyed it, and i'm playing on base ps4. will be looking forward to future dlc for this one.

    Like witcher 3 sure there are some bugs but considering how deep and densly packed the world is, thats inenavitable.

Игры вышла сырой, но ежедневно выходят патчи, которые постепенно исправляют имеющиеся проблемы.     This game is a true masterpiece made for next gen consoles. Too bad the combination of scarse supply of next gen hardware and the unreasonable hype for the game created this unpleasant situation. Be sure tu play it on the right hardware and you should be in for a treat! Also devs seems right on the money pushing out hot fix after hot fix to quickly eliminate bugs

    The gameplay is very enjoyable. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty and it's been fair but challenging.

    There's a lot of customization options outside of character creation, a lot of weapons that are all pretty different in some way.

    Theres 3 life paths to choose as your background, each will create unique situations during the main story and sidequests, involving special dialog choices usually. They each have their pros and cons.

    The only real "Bugs" I've encountered have been insignificant UI visual glitches, and to fix it you just quicksave with F5 and reload your save, overall takes maybe half a second.    … Expand

    OK, the bugs are heavy (NPCs popping in, etc.), and undoubtedly CDPR will rush to improve them, but - damn, the playability! Leave what you're doing right now and start playing.

    The game is just great! Very lively characters, excellent voice acting, and attention to details. A very addictive and interesting world. I absolutely did not expect anything from the game, so it impressed me greatly!)

    Beside the bugs. Best open world rpg in history of gaming. Great characters, very good openworld, great story, nice combat, well written. I gave it a 10 because this game will be perfect in 5 monts or so when there will be no more bugs and unstabilty. I trust cdpr. They will defently fix this game.

    An immersive and stunningly crafted RPG, which has raised the bar for cinematic quality in open-world games. Just be aware of the bug issues at release if you don't have a good PC.

    Everything I expected, great story, side quests, maybe little too short but great replayability. The most beutiful city in videogame, it is fun just to drive around city and watch things. Downsides are obviously bugs, bad economy but as in Witcher 3 I expect them to patch those things.

    most negative reviews are just a bunch of angry poor dudes with budget pcs making a fuss cuz according to them the game is "poorly optimized" just beacuse they cant achieve playable fps with their **** pcs or their **** ps4's, it runs great if you have a series 20 and up graphics card, it looks beautiful.

    You must be aware: it is not GTA. Car handling, citizens AI, vehicle destruction are very basic, your car is immortal, all chases are scripted, no modding etc. Strongest part of game is quests, story, characters and Night City itself.

    CONS:
    1. Lack of animations. It seems game suffers from a lack of animations and animation transitions and can`t be repaired by simple patches. NPCs move clunky, collide unrealistically, "teleported" to position (if game dont have animation for moving to this position). If cutscene NPC approaching you, you can easily see transition of very poor "common" animation to highly detailed "cutscene" animation.
    2. UI is not user-friendly.
    3. No freeRP interactions: smoke-drink-eat-sit-dance animations only in cutscenes.

    PROS:
    1. Story.
    2. Characters are very good written. But main character (V) is not such consistent as Geralt from Witcher 3, mainly because you have much more variaty with dialog options.
    3. Directing. CD Project boosted A LOT from Witcher 3 directing. It is brilliant and i think they can compete with TLOU2 directing.
    4. Immersiveness. First person view is main part of it. Especially in cutscenes.
    5. Music.
    6. Graphics is the best in game industry presently.
    7. Weapons. Before release I thought weapons will be very basic as car handling. But surprisingly shooting is good and fun. Especially "nocover doom style" with perks such as sliding and double jumps. NPC AI is good. Some cover-piercing weapons are forcing you to constantly change locations.
    8. Night City. It is most detailed city in game history. Los Santos from GTA5 was great, but now it is technologically outdated.    … Expand

    Reproducir en un videojuego esos momentos es complicado, principalmente porque la escala de nuestro personaje respecto al mundo no es comparable a la real por motivos tanto técnicos como prácticos. Hay ejemplos magníficos que consiguen recrear el espíritu de las mismas, su historia y la imagen que evocan a través de su relevancia en otros medios visuales, pero no pueden acercarse a la escala o a la densidad real. Tampoco es fácil recrear en el videojuego algunos de los elementos que dan su magia a las grandes ciudades: su infinidad de oportunidades y microversos apilados en pocos metros cuadrados, las caprichosas combinaciones entre la tradición de siglos y el paso inexorable del desarrollo urbano, o esos imposibles contrastes entre el dinamismo y la quietud que pueden surgir en cada esquina, como por arte de magia.

    Si ese acercamiento, en ese pálido reflejo que son las ciudades virtuales del videojuego, están algunos de los principales logros del medio a la hora de crear entornos virtuales ¿cómo se podría plantear la tarea de reproducir Night City? ¿cómo plantear la escala de una megalópolis futurista ideada como una ensoñación que aglutina lo mejor y especialmente lo peor de las ciudades contemporáneas, multiplicada a la enésima potencia?     4. Дизайн...просто 1010, человек выросший на боевиках 90х (Судья Дред,Вспомнить всё..) меня поймёт

    The Performance in my Opinion is Good on PC. I Tested on 2 Systems one with a Ryzen 7 2700x & a 5700xtin FHD and i can play it easy with arround 60-70 FPS on Ultra Settings. On my Ryzen 9 3900x & RTX 3080 it Runs with Maxed out Settings + RTX in QHD on a Stable 50-70 FPS in the City with DLSS Performance while in the Badlands arround 90-110 FPS. And it looks Insane on Both Systems.

    To the Bugs i didnt had any Major Bugs while playing on PC. With Major i mean Gamebreaking or which made me want to Quit the Game. Most Bugs where Funny but at the current State 1.12 i dont see many Bugs tbh.

    Clothing feeles like u cant get your Style in the Early Game cause u need that Armor but after u gain some lvl like 20 u just dont need to care anymore and build ur look with the Armor Defense Mods and Look what u want to look.

    For me this Game is a Truly Masterpiece even with the Points i Critic i give it a 10 cause i loved every one of my Current 185 Hours on PC and cant wait for what CDPR is doing with Cyberpunk in the Future.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]
