    I have a pretty high end PC and am really enjoying the game so far. I have run into a couple of bugs that were frustrating but nothing super bad. Once the bugs are fixed I'll move it up to a 10/10.

    Really, 8/10, but it gets a 10/10 from me because there are far too many 0/10 reviews that are baseless...

    Is the game perfect? Hell no. Was GTA V perfect at release? NOPE.... We had to wait a year to get it on PC.... CDPR should have staggered the release. They messed up, but it looks like they are intent on fixing it. What more can we really ask for? You can clearly tell the    Really, 8/10, but it gets a 10/10 from me because there are far too many 0/10 reviews that are baseless...

    Is the game perfect? Hell no. Was GTA V perfect at release? NOPE.... We had to wait a year to get it on PC....

    CDPR should have staggered the release. They messed up, but it looks like they are intent on fixing it. What more can we really ask for?

    I love this game there so much to do and it has everything to cliche dialogue nice gunplay, and they have the coolest guns in video game history only thing is I wish there was more customization options like height and maybe even how deep or soft V’s voice is.     Despite all the current bugs, when CD Project Red develop a game this big like Witcher 3, you have to be patient .... give them a chance to fix it, because I have all the faith in them. Seeing what they done with the Witcher 3 after a buggy launch is truly amazing. This game truly exceeded my expectations, a cyberpunk world that could never been made better with the current availableDespite all the current bugs, when CD Project Red develop a game this big like Witcher 3, you have to be patient .... give them a chance to fix it, because I have all the faith in them. Seeing what they done with the Witcher 3 after a buggy launch is truly amazing. This game truly exceeded my expectations, a cyberpunk world that could never been made better with the current available technologies on PC, what makes it more interesting is that even the highest graphics cards can't make it run at its maximum at 60 fps which makes it a future proof game to be honest. CD Project Red has all my respect for their efforts and their mind boggling detailed world truly sets a new bar in open-world RPG. Paying $60 for this game is such a small cost for a game like this. I have been anticipating this game for years, and I am truly stunned but not satisfied with the current bugs and crashes.

    What gives me hope is that all the current bugs and crashes are fixable thank God and given the track record of CDPR, they will make it perfect... excited also for the next-gen upcoming update to PS5 & Xbox Series S.    … Expand

    What a masterpiece this game is. I see people giving AC Valhalla 10, even with its copy and paste, boring grindfest design. If Valhalla is a 10 then this is somewhere in the hundreds. CDPR dreamt big, and although nothing would live up to the hype this game got, the writing, city, character development, and immersion is like nothing I have ever experienced in over 20 years of gaming.     Once you get around the minor bugs the game hooks you in and the world building begins. It doesnt have a single generic side mission or any repetitive side missions.

    I got 20 hours into the game already and im really enjoying it. If you have a high end rig the game looks great! Yes I have seen bugs and glitches here and there. Nothing serious or game breaking. My only really gripes with the game are the mini map which is zoomed in way too much.     Y a las personas que esperaban correrlo con una PC de entrada, lastimosamente sabian que no iban a poder disfrutarlo como corresponde, pero eso es solo culpa del consumidor que cada vez quiere juegos con mejores/mayores graficos, tirando al realismo, y para lograr eso, se necesita una gran potencia

    Gra jest świetna, im dłużej siedzę w tym uniwersum tym bardziej mi się podoba, mimo licznych glitch'y i błędów, produkcja jest jak najbardziej grywalna i przyjemna. Optymalizacja ssie- to prawda, ale która gra nie posysała na premierę? Ogólne polecam

    Great game despite the bugs but it is going to be fixed. The mechanics are good and the story is astonishing and refreshing with big twists! Would recommend when the game is optimized.

    So far I am 12hours in game. Playing on 1050ti 4gb VRAM with 8gb RAM and HDD, so I didn't expect visual sensetion. To be honest I only hope it would be playable. And it is. And am enjoying it, even visual part like looking in the Night city in the night. All visual imperfection can be destroyed by better PC so this part I don't mind. About bugs and glitches.     The game is great, good graphics, wonderful music, interesting story and side quests. Optimization isn't good, I have ryzen 5 3600 and rtx 2070 super, school children are dissatisfied, because they like playing other kind of games, I iove this game, it was done with soul.

Probably I should consider myself lucky, with this small amount of problems.     Cyberpunk 2077 does have some bugs, but nothing that would destroy your experience. The campaign is awesome and your choices influence your story in amazing ways! The game is everything they promised and way more ! The characters are so well written and there is also the other prospects, for exemple, the weapons or the driving.     One of the best games i have ever played. Story line and side quests are amazing. Your choices matter. World is amazing. I love this game. The best RPG for now. I was playing on ryzen 7 2700x@4.3ghz, gtx 1660 +300mhz clock, +950 mhz memory. On high/ultra and I always had 60fps. I recommend it for everyone.

    Despite the bad launch of this game, I think it deserves to be played (on next-gen).
    CDPR has done a lot of things wrong, but the game doesn't deserve this crap...

The gameplay is reminiscent of fallout new Vegas and elders rolls oblivion, except that for those games I never really cared about the characters and story.     The most awaited game of the decade. I have an ambivalent feeling, the storyline is solid and really interesting, the game mechanics are addictive and advanced but optimization and AI NPC is terrible. I'm waiting for updates that will fix bugs and optimization and give 10/10 because I really don't like review bombing.

    I like it. The game has interesting plot for me. And i have laptop with 2060 and nothing is wrong with performance i am playing with ultra sat without ray tracing. Also i did not see a lot of bugs, they do not affect the gameplay.

    Loving this game on Stadia! Definitely has bugs, AI needs some tweaks, but nothing that really detracts from the overall open world, RPG experience I was looking for. Excited to see DLC and bug fixes, but awesome game overall!

    Been paying it since day one and waiting for it for a long time. Everything I can say is that the waiting time was totally worth it. The game is a beautiful first person RPG with FPS action, a complete and beautiful open world experience + a storyline rich in details. It's totally worth your time if you're into this kind of game, specially if you're into sci-fi!

    I am playing it on stadia and it works great. The game world is just beautiful, the story really takes me away and the possibilities are vast. Barely any bugs after playing 15 hours. Only downside is the small font of the text.

I firmly believe that CDPR was delaying as long as possible because they were hoping that the next-gen console push would carry most of the attention away from last-gen issues; however, Covid-19, and production delays, impacted in ways we would not have foreseen. As such, it's almost impossible to get a PS5/Xbox Series X for the holiday season. Therefore, more people ended up going with last-gen copies of the game than I think they anticipated. Had the roll out of the next-gen consoles gone smoother, I think there would be less negative press around this game. Regardless, as a PC player, there comes a time and point where you play a game that makes you realize it's time to upgrade. Console users have never had to deal with this issue -- until now. Should they not have developed cross-gen platform(s)? Probably. Still, don't let these launch issues take away from the fact the game is a combination of some of the greatest concepts out there. Far too many comparisons to Grand Theft Auto have left people feeling underwhelmed. For me, I see this as The Division meets Tarkov-- with elements of an open world sandbox game. Would people's expectations be different had Grand Theft Auto never released? Sure! However, to compare a AAA studio with an indie studio --- it's impressive to see a team like CDPR swing so high above their weight-class. Lets give them the respect they deserve and acknowledge that launch issue bugs will be patched; the game can only get better from here.… Expand

    Что могу сказать?

    Сюжет - сюжет достаточно интересный, много неожиданностей, все истории прописаны хорошо!
    Графика - графика хороша на средних и выше на стройках, ниже даже нет смысла играть, очень больно будет смотреть.
    Оптимизация - оставляет желать лучшего, игра не особо распределяет мощность на процессоре, временами не загружает видеокарту на максимум, что приводит к просадкам ниже 60fps, что очень не приятно!
    НПС, трафик и т.п. - скажу обобщённо, нужно добавлять интеллект, сейчас никакой. Трафику перегородил путь - он будет стоять, объезжать не умеет. НПС - тебя не видят почти в плотную, угол обзора у них слишком мал.
    Физика транспорта - лучше, чем в Watch Dogs, хуже чем в GTA. В целом не отличная, но и не плохая - она просто нормальная, дискомфорта не вызвала.
    Баги - багов много (машину в воздухе, нпс застряют, вещи левитируют и пропадают) , игра пару раз вылетала. Баги не запорят вам игру или сохранение, исключительно подпортят впечатления.

    В общем и целом.
    Игра мне понравилась, перепроходить буду и не раз. Советую ли Вам? - Да, особенно если будете играть после Января 2021г., к тому времени игру доведут ближе к идеалу и игровой процесс вам доставит удовольствие.    … Expand

    This is a giant of a game. The story is second to none, the graphics at times steal you away from your mission just to stop and look at the world, gameplay is fun, and the side quests are filled with so many hidden gems and easter eggs.

    I am constantly torn from wanting to see how the main story progresses to wanting to do all the side quests. The main quest gives you a fantastic story,    This is a giant of a game. The story is second to none, the graphics at times steal you away from your mission just to stop and look at the world, gameplay is fun, and the side quests are filled with so many hidden gems and easter eggs.

    I am constantly torn from wanting to see how the main story progresses to wanting to do all the side quests. The main quest gives you a fantastic story, but the side quests give you a looking glass into the world. They are just the best, some have you laughing, some that are best descried as “f**k yeah!”, and some are extremely dark and heavy leaving you just mind blown or punched in the gut. The game does not sugar coat some themes, but it gives an immersive view of the fictional world and the people in it which makes you feel something for what is going on in front of you.

    Combat is great giving you a variety of mechanics where you can cyber hack enemies incapacitating them or to distract while sneaking up to or past them, snipe them off one by one even through walls, pop a pin from a grenade and go full body demolition or leap through the air slicing limbs off.

    Driving around feels a lot like GTA, I do not care for it too much as first person is not as easy as 3rd person to navigate and 3rd person kind of breaks the immersion. However, it provides a way to get around the large map before you can fast travel. I wish there were an Uber option where you can take in the sights of Night City as a passenger.

    Skills in this game are a little disappointing. They only make you a little better, stronger, smarter etc but do not really give you anything new to do. I guess some of this comes with implants which you buy. In this game it makes perfect sense to do it that way but it still feels a bit off.

    As for the bugs, there are quite a few but most of them are either not that big of a deal or are downright amusing. I sometimes enjoy some of the glitches for a laugh, they have not gotten in the way or blocked progressing a quest nor have they ruined the game for me. Quite often if something seems to misbehave, I find a quick save and reload seems to fix it.

    I give this game a 10/10 as I am really enjoying it a lot. If you are on an old console or prefer to play a more polished game, it may be best to wait. It would be a shame to miss it however as it is probably one of the best games of 2020.    … Expand

Cons: the city is well implemented in terms of filling people and cars, but the stupidity of these dummies is discouraging. No interaction with them, why? There are a lot of buildings, but you cannot enter them. The choice in the dialogues does not affect anything.
    For owners of consoles and calculators, which people for some reason call PC - change your buckets at last and plunge into an amazing game with gorgeous graphics and a bomb plot.
    I would also like to wish the developers to cope with mass psychosis and hate in relation to you. You are on the right way.

    I think people are overreacting on this game. I honestly really enjoyed the story, which was well put together. I found the bugs to be minor ones that didn't really matter that much. Just wish the choices you make would mean more but instead almost the same thing happens throughout the story, no matter which choice you pick.     I had a high expections just like everyone. And i must say even with hilarious amount of bugs my 80hours spent in the game i havent encountered any serious ones. Awesome story underlined by very deeply detailed characters and fluent gameplay maybe crafting could use some more love and balancing as of you being overhelmingly powerful thanks to that but at the same time its taking ages toI had a high expections just like everyone.     Really cool open world action rpg, I'd say gameplay wise this game is like a cross between Fallout and Saints Row. Stylistically though it seems to be like Deus Ex meets Blade Runner. 8/10

    This game is awesome. The glitches and the city AI makes the game look bad, but it isn't. The history made me cry, the characters make me feel like I was in the game, they made me fell empathy for them. Johnny is a **** character where you dislike him in the first time and then you're best friends, brothers. There aren't many games that made me cry, but this one...

    An amazing game, played on ps5, so good that even with the bugs the game is still revolutionary. I would give a 9, but im sure that CD-Project Red will work to fix the minors problems.

    It is all about the story in this game, which is extremely captivating!
    The game runs great on PC and, for me at least, with very few bugs.
    But please: Do not expect a new GTA. With a few updates, the game could be phenomenal in the future.

Riding around the city calmly 35-40 fps. Below 30 fps does not fall, except for scenes that are insanely heavily loaded, they can fall to 25 fps. In general, comfortable (At least for me personally). At the time of this writing, I have played almost 20 hours and am in the middle of the game. Therefore, I cannot appreciate the plot adequately. ❤️Advantages: ✅ The plot. So far, he makes me very happy, there are no objections. It's well written and quite interesting. ✅ Side quests. Yes, many of the same type, such as "Bring me this", "kill those", etc. But, there are many quite interesting ones. CyberPunks story will tug on your heart, make you upset, & laugh all the same. The characters are written brilliantly with Character growth being nothing but strong as the story goes on. Especially laying in the choices you make as V, along the way. I’ll wrap this up, but a last thing worth mentioning is the Absolutely Beautiful technique of story telling through the use of music throughout this story, To call the soundtrack Great is an understatement. The music evolves through the emotional aspects of this story & is damn near beautiful taking you on the journey this Gorgeous game breathes. If you’re wondering whether to Give this game a go or not I would say it’s worth it. I personally Loved it and am still finding the many side quests enjoyable and as Immersive as the main story.     This is one of the best games I ever played. Apart form the minor glitches (not annoying , just funny) it is absolutely engaging every player. I love this open world quests which might pop up in the middle of doing another mission. Another great thing is related to fact, that all my friends have different experience (another way) to resolve the missions and all of them right.

The story is phenomenal; the graphic can be amazing, the shooting system is surprisingly good, the music is excellent, cars (after the last patch) are way better. Overall superb and ambitious game.     The gameplay is based on sandbox variety. You can choose a huge number of specializations for your characters, both in terms of abilities and toolset. You could be a street samurai using weapons to solve every situations, for example, but even so, which class of weapon will you specialize in? Pistols, rifles, shotguns, blades? And, in the case of firearms, will you pick power, tech or smart, each with its own defining characteristic? Will you give up your cyberdeck in favor of a bullet time augmentation? Or, will you use some stealth and cyber warfare to whittle down your enemies, before you jump in for the kill? What physical augmentations will you choose?
    As much as I like the gameplay, though, I really like cyberpunk as a genre, and I consider "Neuromancer" to be the best cyberpunk novel ever written - or at least the best one I've ever read. Its influence on the world, on the vibe and on the characters is undeniable. Keanu Reeves' Johnny shares his most evident characteristic with an important character of the book. The Afterlife night club would feel right at home in Chiba City. Most of all, the long sequence that introduces you to the main body of the game has you plan and prepare for the heist of the century and, while you get little choice in how the situation develops there, it made me felt like I was living that favorite novel of mine.
    If you are the kind of gamer that skips dialogues to jump to the action quickly, you'll probably find these sections boring. For me, they are what differentiate this game from the competition, together with the extreme care put in every detail.
    This might be my GOTY 2020, I laugh in the face of TLOU and its woke tirades.

    That said, a lot of complaints are well founded. The way police alerts are implemented is embarrassing. Driving AI is almost nonexistent. The racing and boxing side quests are shallow and really badly implemented. You'll probably be better off if you can wait until some significant patch to improve things.    … Expand

But the progression system is kind of shallow, the hacking (you'll see) is bad, NPCs AI is dumb, the police is non-existent, driving is really inconsistent, the crafting system is broken into oblivion, there are so many bugs that it's not even funny and I'm sure there is more I forgot...

    So why 9/10? Because even with all these problems I have had an awesome, unique, and almost magical experience.
    These problems aren't (in most situations) enough to damage the experience even a little. So if you're anything like me and you like these kinds of narrative experience (think the witcher 3 for example) This game is a must-play but care Night city will take all your time. If not, the game is not for you, go play something else :)

    But to finish I will advise waiting for some patch to fix the bugs (if CDPR survives its current crisis that is) and hopefully the rest of the game because all Cyberpunk problems can hopefully be patched with updates.

    This game has a lot of potentials, and with mods, patches, and extensions I'm convinced it will sit close to Skyrim on the pantheon of Open-world RPGs. But today it's just the unfinished version, a shadow of a brilliant maybe generation-defining game.    … Expand

    But reading 0-3 rated reviews complaining about console ports(there is separate metacritic page for that), and people that wanted GTA6(it's not a GTA), I decide to compensate the unfair rankings by giving this game 10.

    It has some non-linear options, but most of them unfortunately just allows to skip content.
    On my PC(RTX 2080) it runs 80+ fps QHD with medium rtx, thanks to DLSS.
    It has a lot of bugs, but they are not gamebreaking, and for large openworld games it's pretty standart(remember Witcher 3 and Skyrim on start).
    I enjoy the combat system, impact is good, just disable the damage numbers.

    If you loved Witcher for non-trivial side quests, this is the game for you.    … Expand

    Отличная игра, но как и Ведьмак 3 - слишком крупная для этой студии.
    Ждём, пару месяцев патчей, что были и Ведьмака и вывели его из не играбельного состояния.
    А тут всё уже по лучше.

    (Played on PC) Incredible game! The world is imersive and detailed, the characters feel complex and the combat is solid. Definitely the best thing to come out of 2020 but some minor bugs stop it from getting a 10. I look forward to coming back and changing it to a 10 when its fixed. EDIT: I just finished my first full playthough. This game will be a 10 for me when they patch out the bugs.

    Its the best game what i played. I like it. There are so deep plot because of the basis. I recommend to pass this game. Yep of course there are many bugs and no optimization but i never experience this feel. Of dark future with differents skills and this game is cool. If you cant run this game its doesnt mean that the game is bad. Try to use geforce now or another online service

This is why it is 9, not a 10, it is my personal, subjective taste rather than an objective number.

    Obviously, there were tough decisions in development. Some seemingly obvious mechanics or customization options are absent. But as long as I get everything else in the same package, I'm OK with this.

    Sorry to enrage you even more guys but playing on rtx3070 16 ram & ryzen 3800x I am having a blast of a gameplay (getting between 40-60 fps with almost every setting maxed and rtx on ultra and haven't noticed all these "gamebraking bugs" you keep to mention in your 0 score pseudo reviews) For me, being witcher 3 and sci-fi setting enthusiast, the game is simply stunning and this is the first time for me to actually see the huge benefit in a game visuals from RTX technology.
    Ignoring all the detail, story, music and awesome atmosphere and putting 0 on PC version review page of this gem (that is still being polished) + saying about some "false advertising" seems really childish and utterly stupid. It was never said by the developers that this is a game aiming to be next GTA clone, and you mention GTA all the time, basically proving my point.
    I'm +20 hours in the game and normally I would give the game a solid 9 taking into account some things that still need some work (occasional object/model collision glitches and a little stiff AI in combat), but because of ps4 review bombing here ima give it a 10. I wish metacritic could sort this and get rid of ps4 reviews from here..    … Expand

    I almost never take the time to actually write reviews when I enjoy a game, but I feel like many of the review bombs go too far in demonizing this game and CDPR. I completely understand the frustrations of a PS4 or XB1 owners and they have a right to be upset, this game in its current conditions should not have sold to these consoles. Having played nearly 20 hours of this game, it has absolutely delivered on storytelling, and world aesthetics the developers were going for. Over time as this game becomes more accessible the weaknesses it has at launch will fade and all the things it gets right will get better. While there certainly are reasons to be angry at CDPR's executive team, review bombing or trashing other elements of the game hurts no one except all the developers who unquestionably poured a lot into this game.… Expand

Despite being buggy as hell and some design issues that were not thought through (e.g. not scalable mini map that makes you do last-second turns) I really enjoyed the plot and characters, the visual aspect also sets pretty high standard ( I played on pc on ultra settings).     SHORZZ / Cyberpunk 2077: The game's story, gameplay and character design were beautiful. Although the theme is very beautiful, its faults should not be ignored. I think more time should have been devoted to this project but you should still play and experience this game.

    There's quite a few bugs, most benign. They're hard at work patching those ; I don't want to think at how buggy it must have been early on. Can't speak for console versions though. Also, keep in mind that Witcher 3 was ALSO a buggy mess on release, and yet is considered a masterpiece of videogames today. Like fine wine, this game needs to age a little.

    On a decent computer it runs quite well, on a good computer it is amazing in terms of graphics (My own is just not quite enough for full raytracing in gameplay, but holy cow is it beautiful when I turn it on). On a 2013-dated console, though, well the hardware is clearly not up to the challenge.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
