Oct 11, 2017This game is 0/0 just as it is 10/10, not even close to either, 2.5d platformer is getting 10s and hype in 2017? Sad. I've played this game for 1-2hrs then 90s called and wanted their game back.

Oct 17, 2017The game is aesthetically good, and it plays nicely. But it's fairly short and doesn't offer anything new gameplay wise. Artificial difficulty plays a huge part in the boss fights, making me like it less. It's ultimately a mediocre game with really good art. And short. Way too short for the price. I finished the game in just over 3 hours.

Nov 15, 2018This game is not for those who wants interesting story or beautifull graphic and world. This is simple arcada game in retro vision. Game for a limited audience. I'm tired of playing it after 7-8 bosses

Feb 9, 2018The artwork is obviously astounding, however, I'm very skeptical about how many player actually spent time playing the game, because it is very single-dimensional: it's essentially a sequence of boss fights, not a platform game in a strict sense.

Jan 24, 2019I'm in awe over the idea but saying that this is "dark soul" is stupid for me.

Aug 29, 2020Almost too difficult to enjoy. You can only restart the same level so many times before you stop learning from your mistakes and begin to get frustrated. If you get mad at games easily, this game is not for you. this game is only for the true masochist.

That Terrible copy paste to old Cartoon.
The Indie Fandom is Disgusting alone side of BATIM. -
Apr 20, 2019A Terrible chose creating this game for first that Inspired by the cartoons of the 1930s.
Say I Disagree with this game.
We had Sonic, Animanics, BATIM and Now Cuphead. all them mostly been used to the Classic Cartoon to give them pouplar and newer to the fan To milking the Franchise and Fandom.
This game is just not that good.

CD-ActionDec 19, 2017Cuphead is a stunningly looking, wonderfully animated interactive cartoon with three hours of jazz and ragtime playing in the background. Its gameplay however lacks the brilliance of the audiovisual layer. [12/2017, p.46]
-
Dec 14, 2017It is easy to tell that the developers studied the history of the genre through and through, delivering a stellar run and gun experience brought to life with unique old fashioned cartoon graphics. It may have it flaws, but when a game is this appealing it is easy to forgive.

Nov 12, 2017An amazing looking game that will punish you. And you'll like it. [Issue#267, p.65]
