Hard Evidence is full of the show’s quirky one-liners and retains the shows visual style for a very entertaining environment.
-
In the end, we all play games because of the entertainment factor. Whether or not you’ll like this game depends on how important difficulty and challenge are to your enjoyment.
-
Pelit (Finland)Well-written but ugly and still too easy to solve. [Nov 2007]
-
PC GamerThe game is only entertaining with all the help systems (of which there are many) disabled, so that you're forced to decide which tools should be used on which splatters and spatters. [Jan 2008, p.74]
-
The real disappointments is the lackluster interrogation system and the repetition of locales. If you're a CSI fan, you're probably better off just buying the DVDs of some previous seasons. But, as a rental, this is actually enjoyable enough to play through the end
-
The CSI games have become better in recent outings, but ultimately this title feels a lot like treading water, and in some respects, a small regression from the last game.
-
PC Zone UKYou're a passenger watching a crime solve itself - except you get to do all the donkey work. [Mar 2008, p.79]
-
Hard Evidence offers few surprises and even fewer challenges throughout its five undemanding murder mysteries.
-
If you’re looking for a challenging mystery adventure, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a 5-6 hour distraction, Hard Evidence is the game for you.
