    More maximum mayhem

    CRYSIS WARHEAD is basically an expansion of the original game so everything I felt about that game also applies here. Even though it’s now 5 years old the game looks fantastic and has some impressive physics (apparently the CryEngine was updated for this). The story is adequate, given the limitations of a game such as this, and the voice acting is convincing    More maximum mayhem

The story is adequate, given the limitations of a game such as this, and the voice acting is convincing throughout. The gameplay is perhaps a little more linear than in the original but it’s also faster paced and more intense. The combat is pretty tough at times, although the final boss battle was actually easier than much of what had gone before. There’s a lot packed into this short game, and that’s the only downside: it’s over way too soon.    … Expand

    Playing as SGT Psycho was one of the best SP gaming experiences i had. This game has all of the good elements from Crysis 1 and ufortunately adds very little to it. Short but great campaing that finnaly has "balls" and you get to fight aliens more than in original game. Final fight is also very good. Unfortunately its not so much open to options on how to deal with enemies and its morePlaying as SGT Psycho was one of the best SP gaming experiences i had. This game has all of the good elements from Crysis 1 and ufortunately adds very little to it. Short but great campaing that finnaly has "balls" and you get to fight aliens more than in original game. Final fight is also very good. Unfortunately its not so much open to options on how to deal with enemies and its more linear but still a great game. I would give it an 8 but i enjoyed the SP so much that i have to give it higher score.… Expand

    You play as Psycho a teammate of Nomad at events parallel to Main game. If you haven't played the main game before, events will be confusing. So it's meant to be played after Crysis. Other than Crysis itself it is without bugs or crashes, better graphics, smoother framerate! My run lasted for 9 hours and I consider this just about right for a shooter.

    Considering this is an expansion, it's a great addition to the original game. It improves on a lot of aspects of its gameplay and mechanics. A lot more action and fast paced badassery gives you way more opportunities to exploit your suit powers to the max and hone your tactical skills.

It looks a lot more bland than its predecessor and some graphical features like anisotropic filtering don't work. The view distance is horrible with objects popping up 2 metres in front of you. I had to fiddle for hours with console commands and config files, tweaking graphical settings to make the game look acceptable.

    The story is pretty forgettable and doesn't add much to the original, but as I said, this is an expansion and it more than makes up for the story with it's amazingly fun gameplay.    … Expand

    A very nice expansion with very intense battles and an interesting main character which takes place chronologically at the same time as the original. The only thing I didnt like is that they downgraded the graphics in order to make the game more stable and playable for the systems back in 2008. The campaign is short in comparison to the original game but it is much more action oriented.

    You can feel Warhead's budgetary and time strains every time it fades to a cutscene, which is kind of funny considering everything else about the game is a visual treat.

    A nice little spin-off that helped expand the story from the first story, this game may have not really introduced anything new but still had an emotional story and awesome action game play. The ending to this game's story was only the tip of the iceberg and small taste of the even more epic story waiting in store from the sequels!

    First off, considering that this game is only $30 it's deffinately worth the money(if your computer is NASA quality that is...). Still, I had fun in it's short campaign and the eye candy is simpley stunning just like the original. Don't blow $60 on some other game, if you just want to shoot stuff and have it look awsome, then I would recomend Crysis Warhead.

    For me personally this is the best Crysis game. It is almost crazy, how fast this rollercoaster is. From the start until the end you are just having tons of fun. A perfect stand-alone dlc.

    Amazing expantion to the original Crysis. With possibly even better graphics yet a bit better optimized if I remember correctly. Crazy fun action and level design. This is how quality expansions should be. Remember the legendary game because you will never see another one like it.

    Had a blast playing this game despite it being a pretty old game! Very beautiful environments and has more action/excitement in the gameplay compared to Crysis 1. The AIs are pretty dumb still haha, but i had a ton of fun playing this game. If it goes on sale, give it a try! :D

    Continúa con la esencia del Crysis, gráficos impresionantes, continuación de la historia, jugabilidad e interactuación con el mapa que te rodea.
    Más variedad en los objetivos.

    Como punto negativo que no hay ninguna novedad relevante, ninguna mejora exceptuando la gráfica.

    -The game did not optimize for NVIDIA, and really choppy while playing!
    -The story is too short, I killed the giant alien monster and did not even know that was the ending until the Credits showed up. I finished the game in not more than 2h.
    -Seem like this Warhead's graphics are darker than Crysis 1.

    Crysis Warhead I went to PC with maximum graphics preset, and the first Crysis I went to Xbox360. Therefore, I was very surprised at the beauty I saw. I can't believe it was 12 years ago. But there are traditional problems. For example, I have a monitor UltraWide and during cut scenes I had black stripes, and on the sides of the monitor, outside the borders of 16:9 they are not. It is felt that the addition was made only a couple of months, the duration of the game - about 4 hours at the middle level. Also in the last third of the game, cat scenes are literally stretched.     Crysis Warhead. On the other side of the island. The addition of the original Crysis came out and not worse, but not much better. The gameplay itself has become more dynamic, but the plot has become a little worse. In general, positive emotions remained after the passage of the story of Psycho.

Copy/paste I still got a cool powered up sci-fi suit to mess about with some nice vehicles and weapons to have a laugh with. Large open jungle/forest maps for most of the levels. All the big story/plot reveals are dropped in the first game. So this one doesn't haveDialled back in scope and vision compared to the first game.     If you like the original Crysis, Warhead is a great expansion. The story is shorter, but more intense. The graphics even slightly polished. All the good things stayed the same, but there is more of it to enjoy.

    Данная игра хоть и не является совсем полноценной частью, однако это лучший Crysis ever, они улучшили все, даже графику. Импакт от стрельбы теперь ощущается 10/10, лучше, чем в последующих Crysis, миссии, по сравнению с 1-й частью стали еще более разнообразными, динамичней сменяются, затянутости нет совсем, время прохождения игры подобрано идеально, главный персонаж в кой-то веке удался,Данная игра хоть и не является совсем полноценной частью, однако это лучший Crysis ever, они улучшили все, даже графику. Импакт от стрельбы теперь ощущается 10/10, лучше, чем в последующих Crysis, миссии, по сравнению с 1-й частью стали еще более разнообразными, динамичней сменяются, затянутости нет совсем, время прохождения игры подобрано идеально, главный персонаж в кой-то веке удался, за Психом интересно следить, он харизматичный и не тупой. ИИ остался абсолютно на том же уровне, что и был в первой части, такой же имбовый, такой же хреновый. Оружия по прежнему мало, но благодаря тому, что стрельба приятно ощущается и игра быстро проходится , стволы не успевают приесться. В общем и целом, игра на 2 головы выше первой части, играется гораздо интереснее и приятнее, разрабы проделали хорошую работу над ошибками,за исключением ИИ конечно.… Expand

    I play this on EA Origins, and exclusively on the single player campaign.

    The game have issues launching thru Origin app. I gotta run the game exe file directly from the installation folder. Other than that, no other issues.     Un'ottima esperienza parallela al primo crysis con un personaggio estremamente carismatico e storia travolgente e ritmo sostenuto per tutta la durata circa 6/8 ore e anche più se si esplora e la rigiocabiltà è assicurata con i vari livelli di difficoltà

    Достойная игра, явно хуже оригинала. Есть проблемы с повествованием. Можно сказать, что игра похожа на road movie.

    great game, just the physics sensitivity that should be better because I feel that Crysis 1 has better physics than this werhead

    I recommend it only if it's on a really good promotion... I had only played Crysis when it launched and I bought this one for R$20 (4USD). Honestly, today I don't think it's worth it... I finished the campaign in less than 5 hours and the game ended lol.
    The game is good, a sequel to 1, nice story, good gameplay, but I recommend waiting for the price to drop.

    The original Crysis may have given you the basic tools, but Warhead allows you to really use them, and while its previous titles made it clear that Crytek knew technology like few others, it's this strange off-shoot Warhead that proves it's no slouch when it comes to level design and set-pieces either.

    For $30, Crysis Warhead is an incredible value, and you’d be hard pressed to find a better shooter on the PC this year. The single-player campaign is tight and superb, and the multiplayer portion delivers something that you can just in and play and have fun with.

    Warhead honestly is the finest burst of action gaming released so far this year, and if you're canny then you'll be able to pick it up for a mere £15 from online retailers. It's a five hour tour-de-force that's plugged the holes in Crysis with diamonds.
