The game was really optimized, the lighting textures were improved. The weapon looks better.

It runs a lot better than the previous "remaster" but sadly it's still not that good of a game?

Like I don't mean to be negative but it's a fairly generic experience, you're just kind of moving through the same looking city, taking out the same looking enemies, using -mostly-, the same type of weapons. The gunplay is good, the graphics are great, the characters and writing are fine,

The gunplay is good, the graphics are great, the characters and writing are fine, but other than some cool visual set pieces here and there (like the earthquake, some buildings collapsing, and when you use a guy as a shield to block your fall). There isn't really that much here to make you keep you from playing the same things over, and over again.

This game is so much better than crysis 1 which I found to be incredibly repetitive in terms of environments and gameplay. Crysis 2 has better overall gameplay, maps, diversity of assets and combat. Whlie Crysis 1 made the franchise famous, Crysis 2 is miles ahead of Crysis 1. The game runs decently well on my average gaming laptop (1060 gtx) but looks very nice. i was pleasantlyThis game is so much better than crysis 1 which I found to be incredibly repetitive in terms of environments and gameplay. I think switching from a generic island to a big city was a major plus. The city feels lived in and makes the environment feel real. The shooting feels really nice while each weapon feels uniquely it's own. This was definitely one of the better shooters I have played in a while. Expand

    Cons:

    * Like Crysis 1 Remastered, occasional crashes / instability. * Developer took the Epic Fail Store bribe to lock the game out of other storefronts for 1 year so I chose not to purchase the game. If the game had launched on Steam I would have purchased it at launch to support the developers. Pros: * Game looked and played excellent in terms of performance. The differences

    Pros:

    * Game looked and played excellent in terms of performance. The differences between the original and the Remastered version weren't as noticeable as they were in Crysis 1 where they were staggering, so don't expect it to be night and day.

    Game Length: 10-15 hours

Final Rating: 5/10 - I can never give a "recommended" rating to any game that goes Epic Exclusive for any length of time.
