Sep 13, 2020I can't condone Russian revisionism of history in any form. Kievan Rus and Russia are not the same thing.

Sep 12, 20205gb game = a lot of fun and variable gameplay.
worth its money and time. buy in steam -
Sep 12, 2020I'm having fun so far! Improved graphics, new features, and so far I'm having fun with the "RPG" side of character focused game play. I expect Paradox to nickel and dime many of the missing features (from the previous game) by the way of DLC in the future, but I'm not even mad. As long as they deliver quality content, this is going to be worth hundreds of hours of play for me. Thumbs up!

Sep 10, 2020Absolute masterpiece.
Great tutorial, great music and interface. Fun, rewarding ... Game of the year -
Sep 10, 2020Great game, nice more intuitive interface. More improved gameplay compared to the second part
-
Sep 10, 2020Simply said: even with no DLCs Crusader Kings III plays like a finished product right from the start, which -- in terms of games developed by Paradox Interactive -- means that this might be the best grand strategy created by them to date.

Sep 7, 2020Just a perfect game. CK2 was my favorite game, maybe CK3 is my future favorite game.
-
Sep 7, 2020Хорошая игра на старте во всех смыслах. Была проделана большая работа по адаптированию интерфейса, он стал более удобным и отражает дух времени.
-
Sep 7, 2020The best sequel to Crusader Kings II, we are waiting for DLC with china and japan.

-
Sep 6, 2020Not the game we all expected! Lots of cons, but the worst part is UI. Maybe it will be different game after some years and tons of DLC (for $$$). CK2 is way better now.
5/10 -
Sep 6, 2020La gama cromática cuenta con un amplio abánico de colores pastel además de suaves y sensuales tonalidades, apela mucho a la convicción que un servidor posee de el periodo medievo europeico. Viva el betis
-
Sep 6, 2020Amazing game with tons of potential. I've spent all my vacation on this masterpiece and I have no regrets. Much love to Paradoxes.

Sep 6, 2020Are you seriously? I understand that money doesn't smell, and the russian market is big, but why rewrite history for this? Kievan Rus is NOT russia, it appeared long before the russian empire
-
Sep 6, 2020Crusader Kings III is much more beginner-friendly than its predecessor games. Information about anything is accessible within the game.
-
Sep 6, 2020Игра класс но в ней не хватает пока длс и как во 2 части общества (войны маги монахи и учёные)

Sep 5, 2020After I was completely overwhelmed by the second part of the series, I really have to say that it is one of the best strategy games I have ever played. Only the business part is missing a little bit.
-
Sep 5, 2020let your enemy arrange a marriage with a super power kingdom, and thats it, game over. I always trIed to like the paradox games, but never really master them and not for lack of trying, they are just broken, not truly giving the gameplay a sense of improving in campaign, its always do cearting thing over and over reaching barely results that you in the end reach no where.

Sep 5, 2020Awful interface! UI elements are scattered around the corners of the screen.
Also looks like world map was painted with watercolors. Waiting for DLC, while playing is very uncomfortable.
BTW, bad Russian localization! -
Sep 5, 2020masterpiece of a game, as a fan of the CK series and all strategy sim games I can say this one is the one that makes me stick. Definitely a 10K+ hour game for me! Which I was a couple K off from the previous game. >:(
-
Sep 5, 2020Классная стратегия,затягивает на долгие часы за свою нелинейность и спасибо за русскую локализацию.
9/10 -
Sep 4, 2020The best Paradox game. Much better than the CK2. Plus this optimization ... the game runs very smoothly. For me, a great game for years.

Sep 4, 2020Last year I tried Crusader Kings II with all the existing DLCs. The game did not let me in. I just could not find my way in this ocean of a game. It took way too long to discover the mechanics. Crusader Kings III is the perfect sequel for the newbies to the series, like me. While it definitely is a complex Crusader Kings game, it is more welcomingly so.

Sep 3, 2020This game is basically a reskin of CK2. The only notable part about this game, compared to its predecessor, was the newly animated characters. But, since this game is lacking a ruler designer, that’s not all that much to bring home. Keep in mind this game launched with 4 DLCs, no telling how many more are to come. Typical paradox money grabbing copy & paste coding work.
-
Sep 3, 2020Giant fan of CK2, and CK3 takes CK2 WITH ALL THE DLC and builds upon that. Of course, theres some depth to increase, but that's to be expected with the business model of PDX.
Can 100% recommend, LOVE LOVE LOVE! Well done, dev team! -
Sep 3, 2020Great game! New to CK so cannot compare this to CK2, but it is not as hard to get into as I thought it would be thanks to a good tutorial, but leaving lots left to learn and discover while playing. Love the intrigues and scheming, but the battles could have been more interactive though.
-
Sep 3, 2020It's an amazing game with some really in-depth mechanics and It totally wrecked my sleep schedule. Imagine a mix of grand strategy, rpg and Game of Thrones. Paradox delivered!
-
Sep 3, 2020This game is everything I wanted it to be. There are a few things that can be fixed or added. Retracting a vassal cannot be done with a hook, so that's broken. Raiding is so damn fast, overpowered. The AI is better.... buy not that better. I'm 80 years into my game and the map looks bad already lol

Sep 3, 2020The game is very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5/7 would play the game forever if on an island with electricity
-
Sep 3, 2020It's great so far, really a worthy successor to CK2 can't wait to see how the game will grow in the future.
Sure there are some smaller issues with UI and trimmed down filters and such but overall it's a great strategy game. -

-
Sep 3, 2020masterpiece game, probably best 2020 game. few bug very fun to play. Can't wait for extensions
-
Sep 3, 2020Best strategy game in recent years (there aren't many to pick from anymore). Wonderful blend with some rpg element.
-
Sep 3, 2020Probably the the best release that Paradox have ever done . Eventhough the game may have slightly less features than crusader kings 2 with all of the expansions, Crusader Kings 3's 5 year development time definitely shows as the ingame features effortlessly cooperates and complements each other.

Sep 2, 2020Goty 2020, the best paradox work. I really like this series, better npc animations and events.
-
Sep 2, 2020Best Paradox game at launch!
It is not CK2.. yet!
But can not wait what Paradox will do with this game! -
Sep 2, 2020The game provides a lot more streamlined stable experience and the game runs very smooth, you can go very fast on 5 speed. Some mechanics were made a lot easier like transfering titles to characters, but it still needs a long way to go to fleshing out mechanics like CK2 has. The game can be quite a mess within a 100 years and the game certainly needs polish.
-
Sep 2, 2020Really great game straight off the bat. Normally Paradox games take a year or two to get good and games like Imperitor are still waiting for that treatment. But this is Amazing thus far, yes things arnt as complex as CK2 but in a few years im sure it will become a 12/10.

Sep 2, 2020Worthy successor. Much more intuitive and accessible to new players, it will not disappoint veterans who will find deeper and more organic mechanics than its predecessor, a masterpiece that will increase in quality and quantity of content for years.

Sep 2, 2020Awesome sequel of the great game. The main issues of the game are an awful interface and few missed features from the previous game.

-
Sep 2, 2020Игра великолепна, разработчики из paradox перепрыгнули сами себя. Отдельное спасибо за русскую локализацию, в предыдущих играх нужно было ставить локалитор. Стоит своих денег однозначно
-
Sep 2, 2020PDX delivered! CKIII improves upon its 8-year-old predecessor in almost every way. A beautifully crafted game that comes alive and where your choices matter. CKIII is the new standard for grand strategy and emergent story gameplay.
-
Sep 2, 2020It's the best Paradox Game ever! After Eu4 and Hoi4 Ck3 it's like a a fresh sip of water after a long run
-
Sep 2, 2020I feel that some quality of life features are missing, though with a lot of new content it sure is hard to go back to it's predecessor. With how much I enjoyed CK2 that makes this a solid 10/10.
-
Sep 2, 2020This game is truly amazing and an absolute improvement over CK2 in almost every way.
There are so many mechanics and fixes for the worst aspects of CK2 while improving on it in almost every way.
I've thoroughly enjoyed every moment playing this gem. -

-
Sep 2, 2020If this was the console version of CK2 it would be pretty good. It's not, so it isn't. Cut content and bad UI. Might be good in 2-3 years, but they are gonna milk this for sooooo much DLC.
-
Sep 2, 2020Wonderfully crafted game that will only get better with age and DLC :) Some annoying things from CK2 are gone but they have managed to not dumb it down which is great! New Menu and tooltip layout will take some getting used to but overall its a huge step forward. Characters are wonderful and you definitely feel more involved controlling their destiny.

Sep 2, 2020Paradox Interactive created a masterpiece. The game looks 10, and soon with new additions will be even better, this game is a worthy successor to the second part
-
Sep 2, 2020The game is unreal. I'm enjoying every hour I've spent. If you liked crusader kings, this one will please even more.
-
Sep 2, 2020Probably the best "base" game Paradox has released. It's still not near CK2, but has a really solid foundation to build on.
Awards & Rankings
-
Feb 16, 2022Crusader Kings III has good mechanics and production but what sets it apart is the way it connects to the era it depicts. The experience leans into role-playing and personalities in a way that feels true to the image that most players have about the period between 867 to 1453. Without striving to be educational, the Paradox title also manages to be an excellent jumping-off point to learn more about the period, its main characters, its social dynamics. The development studio has also done well when it comes to post-launch support. There’s downloadable content, of course, but free patches have also arrived regularly, improving systems and eliminating bugs. But more work is needed both in the balance and the immersion department. Crusader Kings III is an excellent way to tell and enjoy stories and I can’t wait to experience how Paradox will add depth to its various mechanics.
-
CD-ActionNov 16, 2020A worthy successor to Crusader Kings II. Right now, it is not as deep and demanding as its predecessor with all its expansions installed, but it still is an excellent strategy game. For newcomers it’s a great way to dive into the world of crowned tyrants, treacherous vassals, unfaithful wives, and inconvenient babies strangled in their cradles. [11/2020, p.56]
-
Game World Navigator MagazineOct 21, 2020Crusader Kings III is definitely a success. The developers made a huge self-evolving world where the players can do as they please. It’s unrivaled both in scale and level of detail. [Issue#248, p.68]
