Jun 21, 2020A short XVI century adventure with elements of the isometric ARPG. More like a prologue to the game than the game itself. Works fine on Ubuntu 18.04 (AMD Ryzen 7 2700X + Nvidia GTX 1080 + QHD + 32 GB + Intel SSD; Notebook with Intel® HD Graphics 4400 is not enough) There are some issues with resolution autodetection on multimonitor configuration.

Dec 27, 2015Cross of the Dutchman feels lightweight and disposable. The action is basic, the world is tiny, and the story doesn't cover the most interesting bits of the hero’s history. Unlike its giant titular character, Cross of the Dutchman is a thin slip of a game that passes by too quickly to make much of an impression.

CD-ActionDec 16, 2015I see no good reasons to recommend this very short and very simple game, but it has a peculiar charm that makes it impossible to trash it either and is strangely enjoyable despite its mediocrity. [12/2015, p.49]

Oct 25, 2015It's low priced, it has a charismatic protagonist, a good story and it's also very intuitive. Unfortunately Cross of the Dutchman is a very repetitive and uninspired brawler with a short campaign and bad stealth sessions.
