Sep 1, 2015Between the campaign and the challenges, I spent over 60 hours with the game, and it didn’t seem like a long time at all. So if you were a fan of the Commandos games back in the day, or if you like the idea of dodging guards and disabling security devices, then Crookz is definitely a game to try out.

Oct 28, 2015Crookz is a very enjoyable crime caper, and one of the most pleasant surprises of the year.
-
Oct 22, 2015Big heists conducted by fine group of thugs are very entertaining and hilarious gameplay reminds you the best from the tactical real-time strategy genre. In addition, Crookz offers logical puzzles, the need of careful planning and stealth approach. This "copycat" is really great.

Sep 30, 2015If you like the idea to be a criminal inside a Commandos style gameplay, Crookz is the game made for you.

Aug 26, 2015This is an excellent and well-made title which does a lot more right than it does wrong. Strategy enthusiasts looking for something new and fun away from a battlefield will find little to complain about in this game.

Aug 25, 2015It's good enough that it's easily worth the $30 price for fans of heist games, yet still good enough for people like me to get it at about a 33% discount on Steam. If it's $20 or less at some point and it looks interesting, get it. The characters alone are worth the money.

Game World Navigator MagazineOct 13, 2015Although you can blunder you way through first few missions, soon Crookz turns into a challenging tactical game that requires careful planning and individual approach to every mission. [Nov 2015, p.81]
-
Aug 25, 2015Crookz: The Big Heist is a game with a lot of options, but not enough of a sandbox to use them all in. A bit of the unknown would be nice to liven up the action a bit.
-
Aug 25, 2015Crookz is challenging, despite its comedic trappings, and it's easy to get obsessive over it. However, unless leaderboards or pulling off the perfect heist in the lowest time really appeals to you, there's not much reason to replay old missions.
-
CD-ActionNov 15, 2015A tactical game in the vein of Commandos (but with active pause), rather ugly, schematic and a bit too easy, but despite all enjoyable. [11/2015, p.59]
-
Sep 21, 2015Initially the heist planning sparks your interest. But eventually this is more of a real-time puzzle game than a strategic or a tactical challenge. The quest for a spiritual successor to They Stole a Million continues.
