    Re-released recently for modern HD screens. Same old game, same old flaws like many weapons being useless and various perks also being mostly useless. There is an odd difficulty curve, the singleplayer missions are all fairly easy except for 2.10 and 6.10 because of Spideroids on those two missions. They make the game nearly impossible especially on harder difficulties, whereas every otherRe-released recently for modern HD screens. They make the game nearly impossible especially on harder difficulties, whereas every other level and boss is easy in comparison. Despite these flaws everyone I know keeps playing it when they have 10 minutes to burn. Any crappy PC can run it and it has local coop but only with controllers for the extra players which is very hard to aim with. I'd hate to call it a classic but it fits the definition literally, a game you kept going back to for years. It's a cheaply made budget 2d shooter, yes, but it's also well-done for what it is and for some reason keeps pulling you back.… Expand

    It's an extremely fun 2D top-down arcade shooter. You run around the screen and shoot huge armies of melee enemies approaching from all sides. You have a small arsenal of weapons to choose from. The controls (rotating the character with the mouse and moving with WASD) work pretty well. The music is great, and the whole thing is extremely addictive.     Très bon petit défouloir, addictif et super difficile en very hard, quand on commence on a du mal à s'arrêter, c'est ce que l'on demande à un jeu vidéo.

    On incarne un soldat qui doit défendre une position, des hordes interminable d'ennemi nous assaille, un peu à la manière d'un Gauntlet de la grande époque, vu de dessus, pas mal d'arme à disposition, de la gatlin, au pistolet en passant    Très bon petit défouloir, addictif et super difficile en very hard, quand on commence on a du mal à s'arrêter, c'est ce que l'on demande à un jeu vidéo.

    On incarne un soldat qui doit défendre une position, des hordes interminable d'ennemi nous assaille, un peu à la manière d'un Gauntlet de la grande époque, vu de dessus, pas mal d'arme à disposition, de la gatlin, au pistolet en passant par le lance roquette, tout y est... on est aussi aidé par des items qui apparaissent aléatoirement après avoir abattu un monstre, tourbillon de feu, freeze, rapidité etc ... les niveaux s'enchainent, la difficulté va crescendo et le plaisir avec, je le conseille vivement pour le prix, en plus on peut y jouer à 4 en coop local, les manettes sont reconnu de suite et le clavier souris est une bonne alternative.
    Pas mal de succès à débloquer et plusieurs mode de jeu sont dispo.    … Expand

I heard it compared at least once to Smash TV, and that's probably the best comparison. There's a lengthy quest mode, as well as a bunch of survival modes, all of which have up to four player, same-screen local coop, a rarity for PC games. The graphics are minimal but sufficient, and the music is completely appropriate cheesy buttrock. A great party game.… Expand

    Лучший таймкиллер. Просто отключаешь мозг и смачно отстреливаешь тысячи противников. Много оружия, перков, достаточно высокая сложность. некоторые уровни на хардкоре прошел с >100 попыток. любимая игра еще из детства, HD ремаст очень годный, подтянул игру. рекомендуюЛучший таймкиллер.     Classic top-down shooter.
    The only thing that could be improved is the difficulty curve of campaign missions: it's still missing and difficulty just jumps up and down randomly.

    This is a great bullet hell shooter that floods the screen with enemies. You can pick up power ups and different guns that can annihilate many enemies at a time. There is also up to four player coop.

    A great twin-stick shooter overall. They added some new content and features since it's initial 2014 release - perks in the mission mode, ten new missions, and two new survival modes. The missions are pretty fun, but there are a few difficulty spikes here and there.     A traditional top-down shooter that relies heavily on mastered game mechanics, a huge number of levels, weapons and monsters, and gameplay that will satisfy your lust for blood. Unfortunately, it is designed as a multiplayer game which cannot be played via the Internet, which drastically undermines its entertainment.

    It is a fun game but we get the feeling that it could have been expanded upon. If you're looking for just a twin-stick shooter have a look at this one.
