    I've been playing Counter Strike since it first was released and still hav'nt got tired of it. Best game ever.

    A brilliant game. Most enjoyable game around, 6 YEARS after its release. Beats the like of Battlefield 2, and other leading online games HANDS DOWN.

    one of my all time favorites. the grafics may be out of date, but its still fun to play it. are there any other games that have survived over the years? speaking of quake 2, serious sam? non of them has this attention world wide. and the best on that game...cheap and you dont need a high end pc as you will need for doom3, utk7 or other games these days. a perfect 10 for me.

    Don't know where to start with this game, played this for sooo long now and I don't tire from it, I don't play Source the old school just entices me back even after not playing it for months!! This game has led to a brief stint in running our own events, making new friends and finding people playing this game in my own town and even road! Source is nowhere near as good as 1.6 if anyone from Valve/Steam is reading this, all you need to do to make Counter-Strike perfect is just do up 1.6 graphic wise, no fancy stuff and people will love it all over again!! The gameplay is just brilliant and you'll play with different players from all over the country/world.… Expand

    This is the best FPS of all time; ive had it for 3 years and played nearly every day since, still hasn't grown old, Counter Strike is a 'must have' game.

    I've been playing Source and 1.6 for 3 years and they're both amazingly fun and addictive. Not nearly as many people cheat as some people make it out to be and with a wide array of balanced weaponry, even noobs can find something enjoyable in it.

    ey da könnt ihr sagen was ihr wollt, counter strike is das beste spiel für den pc was es überhaupt gib wenn man lust auf einen realistischen ego shoter hat bei dem man gut im team arbeiten muss ;D wer das nich meint oder denk bekommt aufs mowl xD naja das is meine meinung ^^ bye bye mfG [ePk] -=Snake_Eater=-

    Easy the best FPS-game this far released on PC. The bugs can be overseen by the playability and fun!

    WOW been playing this game since CS 1.2, its the best thing out there, though the maps are the same its never the same game play so this game never gets boring !!!

    Although old and basic this game is the most unique of all first person shooter games and has many hooked for life!

    I've been playing this game for 5 years along with thousands, maybe even millions of other people. It's the only game where people make true friends in real life because of the Lan Tournaments. Greatest game to date.

    Regardless of what anyone says, this is the best game ever. Most gamers care about action and gameplay rather than graphics. This is an original and the best game that is team oriented.

    Everyone who votes it low does so for the same reason - "too many cheaters." The fact of the matter is, there aren't that many cheaters. People just cry because the game has been out for about 7 years now, and they don't like the idea of joining a server and getting rolled by people who have been playing the game competitively for that long. It's not the game's fault that people not only play the game, but practice it religiously and read up on it via gotfrag.com and or whatever competitive news source there may be. This is a 10 game. Anyone who votes below a 9 doesn't know how to play. This remindes me of Quake 3. I bet if you took a bunch of new players and threw them into Quake 3 now, they would get destroyed by the players that have been playing for years, and then say everyone cheats.… Expand

    best online game bar none. i dont care what anyone says...this is awesome...if you look hard enough, you will find a lifetime of fun in this game. the only game that comes close to this experience is battlefield 2. long live counterstrike and its many players.

    I have played this game since Beta v.3. Now, for those of you who have, or even have not, followed this game... that's a long time. And I'll tell you what... the only time I haven't played it is when I haven't had a computer to turn to. Fast paced, easy to learn, few glitches, border-line realism, and the graphics are still excellent (great when compared to games of I have played this game since Beta v.3.     I love this game. Whatever you say about it, it's much better than source or other egoshooters. It's more difficult to learn it than to learn the no recoil source. In my opinion, the best game ever.
