    Not "one of the best games ever" not "very fun". Counter-Strike 1.6 is THE best game ever made and if anyone dissagrees has not felt the amazing feeling of CS 1.6.

    Being ive played many of the up to date games (bf2, cod2, doom3, quake4) and own all of them, i like this game far more than any others. Cod2 is the runner up. This game is about playing a fun game, who gives a sh.t about graphics?

    This is a very good game to use training. If you're good at this, you are good at other FPS-games. It's a very simple game that don't demand too much from your computer, like other games do. I LOVE Counter-Strike!

    EU jogo CS 1.5/1.6 a mais de 4 anos... já tive minha epoca de jogatina, mas eu parei muitas vezes, mas como sempre acabo voltando a jogar com vapor total. o jogo eh excelente , é obvio que no ano em q estamos (2006) a tecnologia é muito mais avança do q antigamente, entao naum podemos comparar jogos atuais com o querido cs. obrigado bom dia a todos

    this is the only game i will ever play i think... i dont like source because of the hunchback like characters.... this game i go to lan centers while im on vacation just to play i guess its addicitve but i do enjoy this game the most and still after 3 years of playing i still learn new tricks every day!

    i really like this game,, u can play it really well with a bad computer,, te only thing to worry about is that u didnt got liquid blood,, it are squars of blood.

    Ive played this game for like 3 years now and i newer get tired on it ive played half-life 1-2 and ive played soure and like many many of the mods on half-life 1-2 and no game is like the regular c-s. it owns all. c-s is a game for all players in the world. i love this game.

    Though the game seems repetative, your playing against different people every time, so the competition changes. If you play them again, they use different stuff. Yes speaking in 2006 terms graphics arn't that good, But for this game comming out in 2000, the graphics are amazingly good. The game was meant to be realistic because most people like it.     It's the best game This game is addictive...I have played this game for 4 years now, and I'm still addicted to it. In the later years, it will be in the hall of fame (or should be) as the greatest game of its time.

    Very addicting and always fun to play. For the kids who say cheating is a huge problem 90% of them are noobs and they just suck so don't listen to them ;), 10/10 amazing game and ill quote Ciobanu S. "The head-shots are the maximum ecstasy of this game." a must buy :D so BUY!

    I have been playing this mod for 10 years now. Every time I play a new game, I always come back to this one. This truly is revolutionary game. The game play is like no other FPS. It is intense and addicting. My ALL TIME Favorite FPS game and one of my top two favorite ALL TIME games PERIOD.

    This game is so well balanced, maps well guilt, gameplay still stronger than any other shooter out there. It deserves to be bought right on steam. I have been playing cs for 10 years since its release date, and i will always love this game. Pretty much my childhood :] and im not a virgin for u queer dicks reading this saying "nerd".

    I've been playing CS for 6 years and yes, CS 1.6 is still better than Source in my opinion. The gameplay is still fantastic and the community is just growing larger and larger.

    if you can honestly right down a score lower then 10 i recommend you play the game a little more. consider this the game was made in 1999 and is still played everyday by thousands of gamers though the graphics arnt as nice as they were in 1999 the game play is the same game that we all played back in the day. no game can compare to counter-strike and wont for a while.

    Great game, but due to earlyer times when hacks where everwhen in the game, its hard to be a very good player and not be banned from servers for pure skill but still going to be one of the main games to play for many more years... plus a few texture modifications over the time.

    best game ever, only the hitbox has some issues but I fancy the old "square" style graphics,where everything is crisp. I always hated the "quake 3" feel where everything is round and soft. Unfortunately the gaming industry is tending to rounder. Sniff.

    CS 1.6 is the best online game forever. Easy to learn, hard to master and you will get addicted to it in no time. Additionally it is a lot of fun! Although it's not that new, it is the best game! I love it!!!

    This is without a doubt the best game ever! I drive a Big Rig in real life, and so I know what I'm saying when I say that Big Rigs Over the Road Racing is the most realistic truck game ever. It's realer than real it's so real! Buy as many copies of this game as you can, it's the most perfectly WINNER game ever!

    Thats the only game i play on my computer praactically :P becoz i dont have the time to play other games... so counterstrike has made my fun time whenever i had some free time from my commitmments :D

    Jogabilidade x Grafico O counter-strike é o unico q varios players em todo o mundo podem jogar por SKILL... Um computador médio pode roda-lo.. e essa é a graça. Os demais jogos funcionam da seguinte forma. O mais rico e o melhor pc q fazem o player jogar bem, e nao o skill.. COUNTER-STRIKE pra sempre

    This is a well mad game. For both advanced gamers and "noobies". I would say it is one of the best first person shooters out there, most games have to many glitches and hackers. Steam and valve have worked very good on kepping this game well made and running it well. Pwned

    This game is awesome because it takes reaction speed and accuracy to be good. Also in order to achieve skill it takes practice which is an object in games that make it so fun.

    I started playing 1.6 at my cousins and became addicted, recently i moved onto source but came back to this amazing fps because the awesome feel counter strike delivers that all others dont.

    Counter Strike 1.6 is the best game i have ever played.
    I play my first time on a Atari and my opinion is there no beter then Counter Strike. The Gameplay makes realy fun but the only tho thinks i ever find not so good on this game is the graphic and the many cheaters in the game!!! thx to Siera !!!

Since I found beta 6.2 kicking about on some ftp back in the year 2000 I reckon to this day I have played CS at least once a month in each month of the last 6 years. I have played this game more times than any other game. When you consider that this game is a free modification thats pretty damn good. Ive been playing a variety of modern games now but still counterstrike fives me something all the other games dont have. fantastic teamplay, still nice graphics if u think about it being very old, the best gameplay out there!! Its just awsome the game!!!!

    Wonderfull game, allthough I would rather give it 9.6 for it's lack of reality - and Also the incredibly foul design of the weapons, most rifles and pistols are wrongmade in the design!
