    I work in the IT field, not gonna lie if I had a choice I would be a chef because its my true passion, not dealing with servers and introverts. I love cooking, and this game has been on my radar for a long time. The controls are a bit weird at first, but like anything you need to practice your technique. One of the best sims that Ive ever played.

    Неплохая задумка, много оборудования, ингредиентов, рецептов, симпатичная графика.
    Но разработчики решили, что видимо игроки смогут получать удовольствие, только борясь с управлением, а не от самого процесса готовки. По итогу практически ни одна операция не может быть выполнена точно так, как ты этого хочешь. Всё будет скакать, прыгать, валиться, превращая процесс готовки в цирковое шоу.    Неплохая задумка, много оборудования, ингредиентов, рецептов, симпатичная графика.
    Но разработчики решили, что видимо игроки смогут получать удовольствие, только борясь с управлением, а не от самого процесса готовки. По итогу практически ни одна операция не может быть выполнена точно так, как ты этого хочешь. Всё будет скакать, прыгать, валиться, превращая процесс готовки в цирковое шоу.
    Разработчики явно ошиблись с названием своей игры, либо упоролись в процессе, извратив идею до комической Hand Simulator.    … Expand

    Unfortunately I'll have to give this game a low score. I bought it at GOG, then they pulled it from that store. I can't get any updates or bugfixes for the game, nor can I get any of the DLCs (that they STILL advertise in the game).

    Cooking Simulator, even at day one release, is already one of the most realistic and funnest simulator I've played as of yet. There are issues, a lot of which are pretty immersion breaking; add a few horrible controls here and there and you'd realize that this game needs more time, despite the rest of the positive qualities.

    The game is really fun and realistic, my only problem is that there are some bugs, and there is 1 bug that sometimes happens for no reason and your entire game and PC freezes, other than that its an amazing game and its 100% worth buying, it is really fun and they are adding more content, that makes it so much better.

    Paid $13 for it and played 4.2 hours before I got SO bored of it. Every time I saw it on my home screen i loaded it up and go into the game and then just lost all my motivation when I get into it. Might just be me but it's just kinda boring. Although when I was having someone watch and we were just messing around breaking **** it was so funny, but eventually destroying everything too gotPaid $13 for it and played 4.2 hours before I got SO bored of it. Every time I saw it on my home screen i loaded it up and go into the game and then just lost all my motivation when I get into it. Might just be me but it's just kinda boring.     On the one hand, the game is okay. Graphics are nice. The gameplay is charmingly wonky to a fault, and it's hard to do anything precisely.

    You can spend a lot of time just having fun in your kitchen doing nothing in particular in the Sandbox mode, which I think provides a nice mental break. Low score is because they were selling the game on GOG, and I bought it hoping for the Cakes    On the one hand, the game is okay. Graphics are nice.     Low score is because they were selling the game on GOG, and I bought it hoping for the Cakes and Cookies expansion. They dropped support for the GOG version with no olive branch extended, so to speak, to buy it on other platforms, no last patches to at least bring the game up to parity with other versions.

    So I paid for the last version of the game on that platform, which still advertises the Cakes and Cookies DLC that is never coming to GOG because they literally removed it from sale and dropped support.

    Thanks for advertising a DLC I can't get, and don't trust them to suddenly stop support of other versions without communicating it.    … Expand

    Gutes Spiel, Grafik auch ansprechend. Mehr Gerichte wären toll, ansonsten ist das Game wirklich empfehlenswert.

    В игре есть куча ингдредиентов, рецептов. Она очень проработанная. Но разработчики совсем не учат тебя в неё играть из-за чего ничего непонятно.

    Cooking Simulator is fun, despite its tedious career mode. There’s a lot of detail tot he different recipes and it takes a lot of focus to be successful. This is partly so because of the controls which aren’t always too responsive and some technical hiccups. Cooking Simulator isn’t a full meal, but a great snack.

    Cooking Simulator is an entertaining simulation game that allows you to cook to your heart’s content without the real-life mess and can easily consume a few hours of your time, but does suffer from several glitches, can feel repetitive, and is in need of future optimizations.

    Limited but fun while it lasts. Slicing, blending, and frying is a lot of fun, although not quite as much as causing enough trouble to make Gordon Ramsey wince. Great to pick up and play to let off some steam, but don't expect that appetite to last.
