    Fun enough while it lasts, Confidential Killings gets in and out a bit too quickly with its tightly paced plot and lack of much challenge, all wrapped up in the glitz and glam of 1970s Hollywood.

    Confidential Killings spins a dark yarn about the media and drug empires. It's an intriguing set up, but the gameplay is simple enough that a lot of it solves itself. Still, it's an entertaining ride while it lasts.

    Clever crimes require a clever brain to solve them. Confidential Killings is certainly going to test your deduction skills by asking you to gather clues and come up with a valid hypothesis. It's a great detective game, but best enjoyed in short bursts to avoid repetition setting in.

    Stunning, detailed, and passionately made, it has many redeeming qualities. Still, test-driving the game via its demo before committing to the full game is advised. Peeking behind the curtains of Hollywood is tantalizing, but if you don’t keep your wits about you, it’ll end in disaster. And in a murder mystery, that can prove lethal.
