    Kalypso and Yippee seem determined to banish memories of the ropey release build (As I type this, my install is being modified by a fresh 1GB patch – 1.08) as quickly as they can. If they stay the course and keep delivering fixes at the current rate, by March, Commandos 2 HD Remaster could be entirely error free. I’m reasonably confident the repairs will be completed satisfactorily. Whether Pyro’s masterpiece will ever get back the minuscule black crosses and red circles, it wore, without controversy, for nigh-on twenty years, remains to be seen.

    A bad remaster of a good game that recreates old mistakes while adding loads of new glitches.

    There I was, extremely hopeful for a remaster with upgraded graphics as Commandos 2 has a link to a nostalgian youth for me. Even more a pity it is how there are even more bugs and glitches than in the original commandos 2 version, more censorship and overall a more worse playing experience than the original one. In the third mission I was compromised. A lot of enemies came. Game started lagging and I couldnt assign my commandos to do anything anymore. As adviced already, don't spent your money on this one. Go for the original one with mods. What a pity of a potential. What a waste and what a disgrace to call this piece of junk a remaster...… Full Review »

    not a remake but a rethinking
    same bugs, same problems
    do not advice to waste your money on that, better play original Commandos 2 with mods.

    I won't speak about the absurd censorship but the game itself, how could it has so many bugs?
