Nov 15, 2019It is fun to see the battleground from the point of view of the GDI soldier. Although the single-player campaign is sometimes too easy it is still very enjoyable. Multiplayer was great at the time, not sure what it is like now.

Jan 21, 2018На момент выхода было интересно взглянуть на мир NOD и GDI с совсем другой перспективы, на этом достоинства этой игры заканчивались.

May 15, 2017When this game first came out it was groundbreaking, however it is still exceptionally buggy. It is not uncommon to get completely stuck in doors or other scenery.

Jun 11, 2016This is the only Command & Conquer video game i played because it was FPS. Overall the game is very good but the boss fights and in general the difficulty was hard especially the boss fights.By the way there was no checkpoint so i was forced to save my game.

Oct 17, 2013One of the best games of 2002. And perhaps the best in the series Command & Conquer. Superbly realized the idea of turning real-time strategy into first-person shooter.

Dec 27, 2011It was ok. Single player is shorter and features a very poor map that gets you lost all the time. Multiplayer was a ton of fun though and very addicting. Almost more then a few bugs and glitches. Overall it was multiplayer that saved its game and gave us a decent experiance overall.

May 24, 2011Even if it gets boring to do the same thing in every level of the campaign the multiplayer is unmatched.

AlexS.Sep 20, 2006This game made me realize the greatness of Command & Conquer AND the FPS genre. I love the game so much and I can't wait for a Renegade 2!

T.TBAMay 21, 2006Although the single-player missions suck, with ridiculously stuipid AI bots, the multiplayer is really fun. You can try to win for your team, drive around in a tank, snipe, defend your base, etc. This variety of gameplay makes this game the best I have played. Buy it for the multiplayer.

BradyC.Jul 9, 2002RiddlerX how the hell can u say that its based on Comand & Conquer from 1995 also known as Tieberian Dawn C&C also Blizards Warcraft where some of the very first Real Time Strategy how can u say its a ripoff of another game i mean Westwood thought it up way ago so seriously Suck It.

Play MagazineWhile Westwood got the big things right, they could have done better on the little things that us gardcore gamers pick up on. [May 2002, p.57]

Imagine a long-time Trekkie's glee at being given the opportunity to walk around the original 60s set with the cast; Renegade is the virtual equivalent for the C&C fan.

If there is a drawback to the game it lies in that the AI is not overly strong. Considering that the enemy is engaged in a firefight of enormous proportions, running straight into a gun, or standing immobile with backs to the approaching shooter seems a little ridiculous.
