It was ok. Single player is shorter and features a very poor map that gets you lost all the time. Multiplayer was a ton of fun though and very addicting. Almost more then a few bugs and glitches. Overall it was multiplayer that saved its game and gave us a decent experiance overall.

На момент выхода было интересно взглянуть на мир NOD и GDI с совсем другой перспективы, на этом достоинства этой игры заканчивались.

When this game first came out it was groundbreaking, however it is still exceptionally buggy. It is not uncommon to get completely stuck in doors or other scenery.

Just text (crutch) to save the game to the list. Such things. Maybe I'll do a review later.

While Westwood got the big things right, they could have done better on the little things that us gardcore gamers pick up on. [May 2002, p.57]

Imagine a long-time Trekkie's glee at being given the opportunity to walk around the original 60s set with the cast; Renegade is the virtual equivalent for the C&C fan.
  3. If there is a drawback to the game it lies in that the AI is not overly strong. Considering that the enemy is engaged in a firefight of enormous proportions, running straight into a gun, or standing immobile with backs to the approaching shooter seems a little ridiculous.
