    It is an excellent expansion to an excellent RTS. All the new units add unparalled depth to strategy.

    I think it need more real weapons like f117 more of aircrafts tanks and ships so on it is really good but need more weapons more tecnology bigger maps for same number for players.

    Superior strategy game with very well designed sequential learning curve built in - plays well for novice and experienced gamer.

    This is great DLC for an already great RTS. This game shows people how good c&c can be. There are a few problems like balancing issues and the AI is not perfect however this game is a must buy for any RTS fans.

    The battlebus, the GLA tunnels, thank you for the new shoes, .... I still remember it all. This was SO much fun on LAN parties.

    Well first of all command & conquer generals is a excellent game their is a few bugs in it that can be worked out sempley with a patch. Other than that this game is one of a kind.     It's the best modern strategic one of all C&C series. I really love it (especially when twelve Particale Cannons beam created "the rain of lights" on the enemy base.) This game, may be the only one strategic game that can deal its superiority with Warcraft III.

    Is for sure a fine add-on, but I don't understand why it focus so much on rushing. In the predecessor tank rushing was called primitiv and abominable. In Zero Hour, especially in the challengemode it's the main focus! Tank rushing. Aircraft rushing. Infantry rushing. Super Weapon rushing. Only some of the nine Generals are well balanced or demand advanced tactics, like the GLA Is for sure a fine add-on, but I don't understand why it focus so much on rushing.     This game is totally rocking!!!! I saw all the new units in the videos, and the aircraft carrier. This is the new stuff I've been jonesing for!

    If you liked generals yo will love this. However if you dont have generals, dont bother going to get them both, its not worth the cash (£50). There are only a few units but still, this add on will rock!!!!

    THIS IS A TOP QUALITY GAME!!!! i liked generals before but this.. i didn't expect an expansion... i've seen some screenshots of it.. and it looks like its TOTAL WAR!!! :) conclusion... : I LIKE IT!!!

    This game made search every where after playing it on the lan i recomend the expansion if you already have the first generals to all gamers.

    I must say that I really like this game and this expansion pack. I can play the missions over again and again to try to tweak my strategies and have trouble leaving the game when started (-; I strongly recommend it and makes this comment to honour the game.

    This Add On Rocks!!!! I mean its been touched up nicely graphically + the new units are jus so kewl. This is definetely in a class of its own as a war game, try playin this with surround sound then u'll know wat i mean!!+ adding the generals with their own special abilities was a neat idea, great work by EA n Westwood, i'll have to admit, if u liked generals, this is a must buy!

    Dude this is the best stragetic multiple units game ever i can play it non-stop!! but the problem is i played it at a game center and it won't work for my comp so im rather nailed to the wall but im a nerd to this game lol.

    I have recently stolen a dozzer form the last general on the generals challenge with jamin kell i found she had all weapons and all upgrades for any army :) this is such a fantastic game.

    It's good, but not great. there are to many bugs and all it features, had to be part of of the original generals. if you have generals, it's worth your mony. otherway it to much.

    The expansion packed exceeded the original. The two things that I miss from the originals is the use of Naval forces, just think if you have access to by a battle fleet for an offensive and defensive use that would be awesome. The one thing that I would really like to see is the generals talking to you instead of a reporter telling you some type of Intel. Over all the game is awesome.

    WOW! is this add-on is cool. Its really fat. EA seems to have learned from Generals and really polished this up. There is even a right click interface for us Warcraft 3 fans. Go out and get this.

    Great expansion to a great RTS, i love to play as GLA, because they can expand easily and this should run on most pc's (because it's kinda old). Recommended for all RTS lovers.

Nowadays, base games are just half-baked and instead of baking it more, devs try to put icing, which makes the cake nothing but gooey crap. Anyway, on to the review. You get more units, and a new feature: generals challenge, where you select a general withAh, the good old days when you can have fun with the base game and expansions were just icing on the cake. They haven't fix the bugs from the last game, which is disappointing but the game is still fun. Like the base game, ZH is only available with the C&C Collection.

    I know you're reading this EA: if you want to return C&C to its former glory, look at Generals, do the exact thing, clean out the bugs and when you release DLC, it should be a fresh coat of paint like ZH. I want to see what you intend to do with C&C now. I'm glad you didn't release that Pay-2-Win crap as a C&C title last year.    … Expand

    Great RTS game.
    Difirent generals bring lot to the game Challenge mode is nice plus Overall a solid C&C game
    Good skirmish Great multiplayer.
    Abit poor singleplayer but doesent matter so much.

    Best expansion ever made. It adds so many new things to the base game that it is probably worth just as much. It is also one of the few games to have 3 singleplayer modes that are all very fun; campaign, generals challenges and skirmish give you plenty of options for replayability.

    This game is good strategy game. This has three main character and have several generals with many abilities that different each others. You can get achievement for your user commander.

    Zero added quite a lot to a slick RTS- the challenge system keeps you coming back for more. The with effectively nine factions avaialble its hard to question value here. If you do not like westwoods way of doing RTS then move on as this still Westwood in all its glory

There is a lot of strategy involved in the games as you are allowed with cash to command an entire army much like the actual U.S the U.S army is strong and has tones of money and units but the GLA terrorist faction has less money and weaker units but if the player is patient they can also create many units for GLA, US or China all though their are only three factions they differ from one other quite well. A classic and instantly recognizable RTS games C&C having good audio and sounds as well as low system requirements making it runnable on almost all modern computers. It's fun and not as complicated or serious as some of the bigger RTS's so it is a great game to open up and invade Iraq as the U.S or try and defend your power as the GLA or even in the games skirmish mode start a new cold war with China. The cut scenes are weird but they don't ruin the experience.… Expand

    in fact i wonder how in the year of 2003 before the Iraq Attack . this game had planing attack on Baghdad.and shows the great leaders on those years.if you was interested in terrors games you must play this rts. and
    units,spaces and everything was gratefully on 2003 . zero - hour expansion is famous on game nets on that year.

    Best multiplayer RTS game I played so far. The Singleplayer part gets boring after a while but the multiplayer part entertained me for many years. It is a shame EA stopped the support for this game and never released another good C&C game after Zero Hour

    When this game released it set the STANDARD for rts games
    The graphics was amazing ! So amazing that alot of the computers at the time had a hard time even running it
    Wanna play Generals in 2022 ? there is countless of mods / add ons and compitability patches

    Given the little over a week that it took me to run through it all, I feel that this expansion pack is about average. It contains a few little tweaks that improve the game mechanics noticeably, though some of the more basic problems with C&C:G continue to shine through.
