The games not bad, but it uses the leveling and equipment system to increase the length of the game. Without it, I doubt this game would be more than an hour or so worth of play. As it stands, I wasn't a huge fan of it.

The game is mostly uncompromised fun, but the levels can be quite repetitive. The difficulty and battles are unbalanced. The plot is a good fantasy/medieval comedy and only because of that I kept playing to the end.

Fun combat and a genuinely funny script rescue this incredibly lazy port. [Issue#251, p.63]

The battles can be fun and reminded me of the old school Mortal Kombat game. What I didn’t love was that if you die you have to redo the entire battle all over again.
