May 29, 2019Close to the sun is the definition of a walking simulator with not much interaction. While i liked the games concept and wanted to see how the story ended it ultimately fell short. Performance problems with tanking frames made it quiet frustrating at times. While the game looked beautiful there is not much here to justify the asking price.

May 4, 2019Среднее говно, на пару часов, в сыром, пустом мире наполненном изобретениями Николы Теслы в стилистике биошоков.

Jun 19, 2019This is a great game!
A solid first person experience, GREAT story, astonishing graphics, awesome gameplay.
I don´t know how this game is so badly reviewed... maybe they expect shooting or ghosts, i don´t know.
If you like a good story, this game is for you (think about Firewatch with sci-fi). -

Apr 12, 2020Jogo e até interessante nos primeiros 20 minutos, após chegar estagio 6 os puzzles ficam monótonos cenários confusos controle de personagem caótico estra totalmente e tira a vontade de jogar e foi o que fiz.

May 8, 2019Close to the sun game has done a nice job in the sense of fear and puzzle type has its own original picture style, story etc. mechanics of the game is a little shallow but the graphics are eye-catching puzzles overly compelling and beautiful sound effects and soundtracks are perfect I'll give score 8

May 19, 2019The game has an intriguing story. The atmosphere of the game is really nice. BUT The puzzles in the game are pretty weak. You do not need to do research while playing the game that's why you can get bored sometimes. The gameplay mechanics is limited. AS A RESULT, don't buy this game it's waste of money

Jun 3, 2019The game is absolutly stunning and amazing.
The location and the atmosphere make you jump right into the game.
A game that you will live in first person. You will feel the game.
Worth buying. -

Jun 16, 2019Yet another game that has no idea how to do horror. In this case, it's too busy trying and failing to understand what makes BioShock good.

Sep 21, 2021I really disliked this game. It switches between being a walking simulator and being chased through areas you haven't visited before which makes those pure trial and error.
The graphics and story are nice but the gameplay is very bad. It's also way too linear.
If you like playing a game that switches between being boring and frustrating, this game is for you. Otherwise I wouldn't touch this. -

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 24, 2020When Tesla fights with Edison, sparkles fly. An above-average story, perfect atmosphere and a decent pace. You will spend one great afternoon with the game despite its minor shortcomings. [Issue#304]

Jan 16, 2020Despite BioShock trappings, Close to the Sun is a straightforward adventure with a pinch of puzzles, veering dangerously close to being labeled as a walking simulator.

Game World Navigator MagazineJun 26, 2019Close to the Sun is great at atmosphere-building, but the ending is nothing short of disappointing: too many big questions are left unanswered, as if developers couldn’t bring themselves to choose one version of the events over all others.[Issue#238, p.64]
