Apr 22, 2016It's an engaging game that took me about 20 hours to finish. It travels to far lands, features challenging bosses, and does an impressive job of showing that, even from a third-person perspective, games in VR can transport you to another world. [Tested with Oculus Rift]

Apr 18, 2016The immersion of VR elevates this strong action RPG journey into something special. [Oculus Tested]

May 6, 2016Chronos' flaws are obvious, but thankfully few and far between. When you push your way through its more annoying aspects, it welcomes you with enticingly grim set pieces and tense encounters. It's a highly-rewarding game that proves you can leverage VR to enhance traditional games, but Chronos doesn't use it as a crutch; it stands tall all on its own. [VR Tested]

May 4, 2016If you’re a lucky enough to be in the possession of one of Oculus’ grand creations and are looking for a game that you can really sink your teeth into, look no further; Chronos is what you need. [Tested with Oculus Rift]
-
May 3, 2016It’s absolutely worth your time, and gives me a great deal of faith that virtual reality can be used for more than just spectacle and first-person POV. [Tested with Oculus Rift]

Apr 15, 2016Chronos is a challenging puzzle/action-adventure, and one of the richest experiences available on Oculus Rift yet.
-
Jul 29, 2016Chronos is an interesting adventure, that tries to adapt a classic format to the new Virtual Reality language. It has also some innovative features related to character progression, that shines above any other aspects of the game.
-
Jul 11, 2016With its Souls-lite fighting system and the beautiful art design that successfully manages to use VR within a “classic” gameplay mechanic you Chronos pulls you into a magical world. Nonetheless it is rather just a first step, while it leaves a lot of potential untapped. [Tested with Oculus Rift]
-
Apr 7, 2016Chronos is a good action RPG that shows you how to play a VR game with a third-person perspective.
-
Aug 10, 2016Chronos is a very solid adventure, long and unique, that also proves VR works with third-person titles.
-
May 2, 2016The deciding factor on whether or not Chronos is worth the $50 asking price is probably how much you love Zelda games or how hard up you are for something that feels like a fully-realized game for the Oculus Rift. Even with satisfying combat, an art style reminiscent of Guillermo del Toro, and virtual reality, I can't help but feel $50 is a smidgen too expensive. I guess that is the price you pay as an early adopter of VR. [Tested with Oculus Rift]

Games Master UKMay 18, 2016The Rift's best launch game, though it highlights the hardware's limitations. [VR Tested; May 2016, p.81]
-
Edge MagazineJun 7, 2016That initial feeling of being a tangible part of the inside of a videogame will forever be fantastic, even if much of the rest of the experience feels like it's been done before. [Tested with Oculus Rift; June 2016, p.112]
