Aug 19, 2023Very good game. I enjoyed playing this game a lot. I strongly recommend this.

Apr 29, 20226/10. The weapons don't feel responsive. Fighting isn't intuitive. There is far too much weapon variety. The game is too competitive to have such sloppy gameplay.

Jul 10, 2020A game so fun, my neighbors thought my name was "LEEROY JENKINS" for a couple of months.
A guilty pleasure, simple of fun :
you can the traditional modes of PvP shooters,
but translated in medieval fashion.
Headshot with a crossbow ? Nice...
Slicing some head with a two-handed sword ? Amazing...
Pounding your unlucky adversary with a big axe ? Awesome !
Still a classical ! -

Feb 4, 2020I did not like it. The combat system is pretty boring and the pvp experience is not good either.

Nov 8, 2019As it is impossible to play, the game is just damp, do not recommend. Fun, only the first 15 minutes, and then because of the glitches no desire to play it

Oct 25, 2018A very low quality fighter which doesn't have any level of strategic depth and very quickly falls apart from a tactical perspective. Learning the necessary dexterity to play the game is a boring chore. The game also looks very gross and ugly, with nothing interesting whatsoever beside the simple gore-y appeal factor. Avoid if possible.

Jul 22, 2018The combat was super fun, but the mechanics are broken, you can do some really weird stuff if you pan your camera quickly etc.
-
Apr 29, 2018Some servers are very unfriendly after leaving the low level servers. You can be bullied out of servers which could completely ruin your experience. Fun game, but play at your own risk.

Feb 26, 2018The game is pleasing, but it gets tired quickly. There are also ping problems.

Dec 31, 2016This game is a masterpiece. The combat is incredibly challenging but also very fun to use and learn. You can use the movement of your mouse to dodge swings from a greatsword and kill a heavily armoured knight with a dagger if you're skilled enough, and boy is it a good feeling. People moan about the mechanics being broken... They're not broken, you're just bad at realistic melee combat. :^)

Dec 16, 2016Great game, I played 380 hours and I still have to mastered every moves and weapons. The game is cheap (I bought it 3€) so I would recomend all to give it a try. The only con is that it is getting old, and there are not a lot of new players.
Next game will be Mirage: arcane warfare, I tried it and it's going to be an epic game as well -

Feb 13, 2016This game is all I ever wanted in a sword fighting game. It keeps getting better and better as they add more content too. Very addicting, and fun to play with friends!

Dec 24, 2015A game in which you take the combat system of Elder Scrolls and beat up other people with it. A very fun game. Muliplayer exclusive. The player is also able to customize your play style with multiple weapons and appearances, many different game types too.

Feb 26, 2013A multiplayer experience that offers a realistic point of view of the Medieval melee battles. It's not fit for everyone, but if you get past the glitches and the high difficulty curve, you'll find an enjoyable and addictive game.

PC Master (Greece)Feb 4, 2013Chivalry is slightly… bipolar. The spectacle of a duel (especially if the two opponents are seasoned veterans) can be spectacularly breath-taking, a complex choreography that one can only marvel at. Blocks, feints, slashes, back-steps, side-hits: despite initial impressions, this can be a truly intellectual game of tactics, requiring high skills, observation and deviousness. On the other hand, the spectacle of a massive battle of fifty warriors can be ridiculously chaotic: especially if the players are inexperienced and go for blind “hack and slash” tactics, it’s more like a metal concert mosh pit than a battle for glory and honor. PC GamerFeb 1, 2013Chivalry is Quake to War of the Roses' Battlefield, and those seeking a faster-paced bloodier experience will undoubtedly prefer Chivalry's type of steel. [March 2013, p.65]
