Nov 19, 2012I simply cannot believe this game has any good ratings at all. The combat is choppy and completely non-fluid, internet play is laggy, controls are worthless, cheesy soundtrack (at times), are just some of the many things horrible wrong here. While I will give it points for a unique concept I can't like it for much else.

Oct 25, 2018A very low quality fighter which doesn't have any level of strategic depth and very quickly falls apart from a tactical perspective. Learning the necessary dexterity to play the game is a boring chore. The game also looks very gross and ugly, with nothing interesting whatsoever beside the simple gore-y appeal factor. Avoid if possible.

Oct 19, 2013One of the worst games I have ever played in my life. I'm not complaining about how sluggish it is, I expected that before I played the game due to its gritty medieval fighting style. It is just how much is in this game.

Nov 8, 2013Neither fun or enjoyable, this is a huge step back from the original mod Age of Chivalry in almost every way. Everything is simplified and restricted which seems to be the trend these days unfortunately.

Aug 1, 2013Its goofy, buggy, plagued by hacks and worth about $5 but its a lot of fun to play in short bursts. Whoever did the voice acting deserves more work. Don't pay the outrageous price of $19.99, get it on sale.

Nov 1, 2013The game can be fun, if you have the patience for it.
The community is horrible, and sorry I'm not overlooking reckless votekicks.
If you can stand a game where you will likely be voted off the server in the first few minutes of not playing well enough or accidentally hitting a teammate, then it might be worth checking out. -
Jan 29, 20140 new contend from the developer (instead of adding new conted the just sell a new game).
The comunity is a joke if 1 team is losing EVERYONE tries to go to the other team. And it should be called "game of lames". Really do NOT buy this **** -

Nov 22, 2014What a pile of Rubbish. During sale this game crashes every 15 mins so all I can do is join a server and see how horrible hte players are and the game itself. Just spam left mouse button and right one lmao.

Jun 29, 2013Very poor game, combat is slow and very fiddly. Tried it for an hour before realising how dump it was then tried for another half an hour before giving in. Even at£6.99 on steam I feel like ive been robbed. Scored it 2 for trying to be original

Feb 26, 2013A multiplayer experience that offers a realistic point of view of the Medieval melee battles. It's not fit for everyone, but if you get past the glitches and the high difficulty curve, you'll find an enjoyable and addictive game.

PC Master (Greece)Feb 4, 2013Chivalry is slightly… bipolar. The spectacle of a duel (especially if the two opponents are seasoned veterans) can be spectacularly breath-taking, a complex choreography that one can only marvel at. Blocks, feints, slashes, back-steps, side-hits: despite initial impressions, this can be a truly intellectual game of tactics, requiring high skills, observation and deviousness. On the other hand, the spectacle of a massive battle of fifty warriors can be ridiculously chaotic: especially if the players are inexperienced and go for blind “hack and slash” tactics, it’s more like a metal concert mosh pit than a battle for glory and honor. PC GamerFeb 1, 2013Chivalry is Quake to War of the Roses' Battlefield, and those seeking a faster-paced bloodier experience will undoubtedly prefer Chivalry's type of steel. [March 2013, p.65]
