    The arcade action of Centipede: Recharged is inoffensive, but there simply isn’t enough content here to justify its price tag. Even the most devout score chaser will likely get bored with this title’s lack of variety, and its bland aesthetics seal its fate.

    I didn’t expect much from Centipede. Especially when it’s skinned to feel so much like Geometry Wars. But honestly, the enriched weaponI didn’t expect much from Centipede. Especially when it’s skinned to feel so much like Geometry Wars. But honestly, the enriched weapon mechanics and divided top/bottom infestation strategy are so pure I can’t help but love this as the perfect evolution of the arcade game. The power ups are satisfying in both animation and sound effects. The single life permadeath scoreboard chasing is very gratifying. The nerve grating death screen is exactly the challenge to your ego you need to try again. Love it. My only annoyance, and I am under rating it with a 9 here, is the need to sign in every session.… Full Review »
