It’s one of the most good-natured games I’ve played in recent memory, and even if it was over almost as soon as it started, it’s still an extremely pleasant way to pass half an hour.

Catto's Post Office is a great game if you like cats, delivering mail, cute themes, and doing side stuff. It has an Animal Crossing feel mixed with Lake gameplay, but still with its own style. It's not a long game but it works in this case. It's just something sweet and simple to play for a short time, perhaps when you just want to chill out for a bit and play something quick and easy, yet fun at the same time.

Catto’s Post Office is not one of those works that will live in your brain for months. At most, it will grant you a fun afternoon and a chuckle or two — and that’s all it needs to do. Its lack of substance isn’t exactly a point against it, but those who enjoy complex narratives and intricate gameplay may need to seek a different game.

A rarity in the current industry, Catto’s Post Office lives up to all of its promises. But it doesn’t really go further than that. There’s little replay value or staying power beyond an easy list of achievements and some hidden rubber ducks to discover amongst the map. But maybe you don’t want that, maybe you want a short and sweet parcel of joy after a long day; Catto will deliver it straight to you. After recently ploughing through an enormous open world game, I greatly appreciated the brevity; though I perhaps would’ve liked to get to know these characters better and done a little more for them.

Taking less than 30 minutes to complete, Catto's Post Office is almost too short to fully recommend. It's a very cute and wholesome experience, though, and for cat lovers and cosy game fans, there's enough here to make you smile.
