Cat Mail Co is a surprising game for me. After playing it for 3 hours, the game can become repetitive with its loop. You call in a customer, focus on his request, then the counter closes, the ship comes and you send out packages. It is enjoyable, not by any means bad, but it is repetitive. This could change if it’s played in Multiplayer with your friends, so I can be wrong here. The one thing that really justifies it, and makes it entertaining is the trash pile cleaning and sorting. I didn’t unlock every room, so there may be more to find out and uncover. The progression system is okay in my opinion, doesn’t feel fast or slow, just right. Although level-ups feel unrewarding with its basic unlocks like islands. It just gives you more things to look out for, with the same amount of spaces in your building. Surprisingly, the game doesn’t have any gameplay issues, like control bugs, or in-game bugs, so it works as intended. This, paired with the bug-free experience, is why this game is good overall.

Cat Mail Co. is a great title, especially for those who are looking for something to do while listening to a podcast or sitting quietly with their thoughts.

If you’re looking for a cozy cat pun-filled game I highly recommend Cat Mail Co. If nothing else but the fact that I keep stealing my spouse’s computer to play it each night after work. Surrounded by our two snuggly cats I’m loving the sorting, stamping, slightly strange residents and cozy feelings this game gives me after a long day of being an adult. I wouldn’t mind another game set in this town, perhaps a library, a coffee shop, a boutique or gift store? I feel like Cats Island is a great place to ship your parcels and maybe more.
