Aug 5, 2013CastleStorm isn't a perfect game but it's definitely a good one. It may not have been the successor to Zen Pinball 2 that we expected, but it is definitely one worth our time.
-
Sep 16, 2013At its core, CastleStorm is a game about variety, and every mode and mission offered in this robust package is executed with style and precision.
-
Aug 15, 2013CastleStorm is a great idea that just doesn’t click.
-
Jul 31, 2013CastleStorm takes the tower defence genre and adds elements of physics destruction, real-time strategy and role-playing games, making for a very interesting mix that works quite well. It is a casual yet complex game experience that is delightful to play, alone or with a friend, something that this tower defence hater truly enjoyed.
-
Aug 5, 2013Accessible action, a hint of strategy and a fair amount of content make for some hours of enjoyable castle crashing. It’s no classic, but a fun experience for sure.
-
Aug 26, 2013The single-player campaign is just there to unlock units and ammunition, and earn money for upgrades. Skip the boring story and the dumb AI – playing against real people is much more fun.
-
Aug 2, 2013Yes, you could probably sniff up an old Flash game built on roughly the same premise, but it wouldn’t have the same production values as Castlestorm has.
-
Aug 2, 2013A nice idea, and fair production values, but the global result still is too "straightforward" and brutal, lacking some real strategy elements, and being repetitive. It is funnier in multiplayer, and very affordable, still, so one may give it a look.
