    What a surprise, these guys may just have reinvented the wheel here!!! Clearly inspired by Pokémon but so far much better. This may just be a sleeper hit and one of the best games I have played so far this year. Will provide a more in depth review when I am further along in the game. But so far .. WOW!!!! Now I gotta go record 'em all!!

    I have been waiting for a game like this outside of nintendo land and this is perfect.

    It can only be described as being like pokemon. Catching monsters and battling in a cute child friendly rpg that adults can just as easily enjoy. It’s like pokemon but it’s no clone. It has enough of its own ideas that really makes it stand out. I can’t wait for this to also come to Xbox and I’m    I have been waiting for a game like this outside of nintendo land and this is perfect.

    Loving this, very refreshing take on formula. Lots of ways to great combos and customise both character and monsters. Gorgeous art style.

    This is the only case I know of a product that is woke... because it is, but the creators (and the composer of the OST) are so creative, and imaginative and poured so much of their soul into it... that the result is beautiful despite of the woke elements.

    It's like a fusion of 2D zelda and pokemon. Open world map. Turn-based battles with a system based on elemental status conditions. Absolutely beautiful animated sprites, and all the monsters can be fused together in battle to create super monsters. Great plotline that reminds me of classic rpgs like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.

    If you like monster tamer games, an absolute must buy.

    Definitely a 10/10 game! It has amazing gameplay, story, graphics and a really brilliant fusion mechanism. We have all always wanted a fusion kind of game that has almost unlimited combinations and here we have it.

    The monster in this games are well designed and having fusion does not make your monster became weird but interesting. They way they handled this game makes me wanted more DLCs    Definitely a 10/10 game! It has amazing gameplay, story, graphics and a really brilliant fusion mechanism. We have all always wanted a fusion kind of game that has almost unlimited combinations and here we have it.

    The monster in this games are well designed and having fusion does not make your monster became weird but interesting. They way they handled this game makes me wanted more DLCs or eventually giving us global PVP with some tweaking to their stickers.

    Without a doubt this game deserves everyone’s attention, even without discount, it worth more than what it has listed now. You have to play it to understand why we think so highly of this game.

    Boring rpg where despite being several levels higher than enemies still lose all my animals' health. Surprise ambushes all the time without level indications. Christ, wtf?

    Just finished Cassette Beasts. It was nice. I liked the music theme a lot and the songs got stuck in my head. The style was nice and the map was cool to unlock. Took me about 20 hrs to finish.

Clean and beautiful osts that remind me of twewy and very good story and gameplay giving this a 10 because its way more good than any monster collector ive seen personally, and because 8.2 is low… Expand

    It's not even a copy cat of Pokemon because the only thing both of the game have in common is that's it's a monster taming game.

    Cassette beasts you can have several companions to help you in battles 2v2 or 2v3 to be more challenging. It has fusions with your companion and also relationships.

    The story is amazing and super interesting and the chars models are so unique and really cute.

    I'm very impressed about this game. I was really disappointed about the Quality and polish of Pokemon games lately, so I'm amazed, that this game managed to be THAT good!

    Cassette beasts reignited my wish to catch them all! The open world design is really good, you can sequence break with the Physics a bit which makes the world interactive and fun to explore.     Cassette beasts reignited my wish to catch them all! The open world design is really good, you can sequence break with the Physics a bit which makes the world interactive and fun to explore. Its great to see the Monsters instead of having random Encounters. The plot is really creative and fun. The "boss Monsters" are actually scary, because of the different art styles which make them look Alien in this context. The Fusion Mechanic and Stickers make trying out different combinations a very creative process that is barely limited. You want to win any Encounter instantly? Put on a few Turn 0 preemptive attack Stickers and you are good to go! I feel like I could go on forever. I barely found any negatives about the game, but here are a few constructive ideas: I feel like companions are not that great in terms of interesting ingame mechanics, giving them stat buffs for certain cassettes feels a bit boring.     Best monster catching game in recent memory. Has a tad voice acting, music has lyrics (than can be toggled off if you don't like it). Runs better than scarlet and violet. 2.5D world that's just as open as modern pokemon games but better. 120 base monsters that have 12 different elemental versions and all can be fused for just under 3 million different combinations. Its an amazing and veryBest monster catching game in recent memory. Has a tad voice acting, music has lyrics (than can be toggled off if you don't like it).     Combat isn't the only fun thing the game has to offer. If you're in the mood for collecting and battling strange creatures, give the game a chance, it will serve you pleasant entertainment with beautiful visuals. [Issue#327]

    Cassette Beats is generally a good game that takes the classic Pokémon formula and tries to iterate upon it in almost all areas. For the most part, the ideas are indeed a step up from the first few Pokémon generations, but the execution doesn’t quite come off in the pace of battles and its more obscure puzzles. The double-battle nature of the game and the beast customization offers players a great deal of strategy to engage with while listening to an excellent soundtrack. With such a broad open-world setting, RPGamers will likely find themselves immersed far beyond the fifteen hours of mainline content the game has to offer.
