    I have played well over 50 hours in this game since Early Access. While the game is a solid remake it still suffers from performance issues as well as lacking Tracked Vehicles (mind you this is being worked on at the moment however) and currently has a fill in for the Suppressor (due to 6 wheel tech not being implemented). At this stage I would not consider this game worthy of 'FullI have played well over 50 hours in this game since Early Access. At this stage I would not consider this game worthy of 'Full Release' as it could have done with these features as well as the time for optimization and would encourage people to wait until these have both been added.… Expand

    A great game but it doesn't work properly. I'm a Kickstarter backer and played the game since the first alpha release. And it's sad to say the game passed through the beta stage, now it's gold and has the same performance issues. The framerate fluctuates too much even on a powerful gaming rig, and it's just an average game, technologically speaking. They had a lot of time to fix the issuesA great game but it doesn't work properly. I'm a Kickstarter backer and played the game since the first alpha release. They had a lot of time to fix the issues before the final release, but sadly it didn't happen. BUT, it's a great game, a great remake, gameplay feels right just like the old fun Carma. The cars, the maps, game modes, everything's great. There's a big potential in there, a great game under the sheets, but at the moment it's just an unoptimized mess.     I must say, I'm unimpressed with the game's optimization and crashes and everything, I'll be just simple, almost 2 decades for one game to release? It really feels like it's Duke Nukem Forever, what I'd say is the game's fine for a Kickstarter project, but I'll be giving a high score like that because of the nostalgia and waiting almost 2 decades (about 1.5 decades to be sure) is a shameI must say, I'm unimpressed with the game's optimization and crashes and everything, I'll be just simple, almost 2 decades for one game to release?     I haven't played this yet because I am still waiting for my new rig to arrive...the point of me saying that is the system requirements for this game are just insane, and it looks like 2004 era graphics, something like Half-Life 2 with HDR lighting. I am sure people with low-spec machines that like Carma will be seething or splashing out for new hw, or both

    or so that there the graph and beautiful so I start running the frames falls that the the gameplay is boring and the same controls are horrible takes 2 seconds to turn the car around the game and about

    No, Carmageddon Reincarnation won’t make anyone happy. The game engine is rubbish, the graphics makes the game looks like it’s ten years old (in a bad way) and the physics is a joke. Even the hardcore fans should avoid this.

    Sometimes, such fondly remembered franchises can be revived to stand alongside contemporary greats, simultaneously satisfying our younger selves and our more demanding modern expectations. Sadly, despite Stainless Games’ best efforts to recapture the wacky allure of the 1997 original, Carmageddon: Reincarnation is not one of those games.
