    Definitely GUNSINGLER is the best game in the series. This one here the only good thing is the Ragdoll physics, physics of objects in the scenerythe way the blood behaves because otherwise it's crap..

    it is very unique as I never had played those kind of old shooters. the maps are pretty simply made and remind me of the Age of empires map maker or something easier user created. the shooting is fun and the blood is satisfying. (GERMAN VERSION IS CUT!!!!) the story is interesting and i LOVE the perspectives of the hunter and the hunted. (THIS IS SO UNIQUE!) and    Time Capsule

    some people said far cry 2 did it first (they clearly have no idea and just watch some video essays about a videogame) as in matter of fact Call of Juarez did it 2 years earlier

    Half of this game knows exactly what it is and is a really good time, the other half is bogged down by the old "stealth sections in a game that's not made for stealth" trope almost constantly. I lost count of how many times I got spotted through solid objects/walls and at several points I genuinely considered just moving on from the game during Billy's sections.

    Truly a beautiful and atmospheric game gameplay isn't up to snap today, but it has enough atmosphere and the story is so good that you got a pull through. One of the best pads of the game is the Cat and Mouse feeling to get through the story and the truth Tara you get when you see the terrifying priest man. The only reason I think the game doesn't hold up that will is the gunplay feels weak

    Call of Juarez is worse than I remember, good and bad, not for the most part, it's really fun. Unfortunately it only gets worse and worse towards the end, chapters 11 to 15 are a horror and the ending is absolutely disappointing.
    In addition, there is this wicked villain Juarez who has to be shot 3 times and keeps popping up like a roly-poly as if he were a magician.     + Still pretty graphics today
    + good pieces of music
    + nice but sometimes too heavy shooting
    + good mix of sneaking and shooting

    - bad antagonist
    - partly bad level design
    - partly bad pathfinding
    - in the German version, some sentences end in the middle
    - the German version is cut
    - Disappointing ending

    Auf Deutsch:
    Call of Juarez ist schlechter als ich es in erinnerung habe, gut so schlecht auch wieder nicht größenteils macht es wirklich Laune. Nur leider wird es gegen Ende immer schlechter, Kapitel 11 bis 15 sind ein grauß und das Ende absolut enttäuschend.
    Hinzu kommt dieser verissene Bösewicht Juarez der ganze 3 mal erschossen werden muss und wie ein Stehaufmännchen immer wieder auftaucht als wäre er ein Magier. Was das ganze recht unlogisch macht.

    Positiv:
    + Heute noch hübsche Grafik
    + gute Musikstücke
    + nette aber Teils zu schwere Ballereien
    + guter mix aus schleichen und schießen
    + gute Protagonisten
    Negativ:
    - schlechter Antagonist
    - teils schlechtes Leveldesign
    - teils schlechte Wegfindung
    - in der Deutschen Version hören Sätze teilweise in der Mitte auf
    - die Deutsche Version ist geschnitten
    - Enttäuschendes Ende

    Ein Problem dieser Wertung ist, dass dieses Spiel nicht gut gealtert ist. Die Dialoge sind alle vertont aber teilweise nicht gut. Die Grafik ist in Ordnung, auch für heute noch spielbar. Das Gameplay hat gute Ideen, die leider nicht immer gut umgesetzt sind. Dennoch kann man mit der Geschichte, den Charakteren und dem Gameplay auch noch heute spaß haben.     Кривая игра прицел в этой игре делал имбецил который не умеет делать нормальные прицелы. Зачем то добавили механику стелса так ещё такую кривую что ужас. Стрельба из оружия отвратительная, режим концентрации говно полное им не удобно пользоваться!     Fully voiced linear story with cinematic that gives this game a soul. It grows and gets better as you progress.

    Game play? Great. 4.5/5 ☑
    It has original ideas like shooting from two guns separately, slow motion with them, duels with guns and fists. Fun ways to get through certain levels. Riding a horse from mid-game.
    There are pistols, shotguns, rifles, stationary machine guns, whip and bow. First three have few variations on top.

    The only annoying feature was duel because it is very mouse sensitive and took me a while at start and even in later game to get my gun out of pocket. I had to adjust sensitivity for this to lower number.

    Another tricky part is aiming into the distance. One thing is effectiveness of shots too far away, but the hard part was to align reticule with stationary target but enemies were mobile, crouching, rolling, running and using cover and explosives. It was fun at the same time and required patience.

    Replay value? Good. ⅘ ☑
    Rather linear experience with some exception of divided paths and big open areas. There are various approaches to achieve your objective, like full head on attack or little sneak, use environment objects for cover, enemy weapons and destructible materials as well.

    You get to collect wanted papers of game developers. I had 15 out of 40 after 1st walk-through. I hadn't looked everywhere because most side paths led nowhere, had no enemies or loot, though the world was still present for the purpose of believability.

    Graphics? Nice 4.5/5 ☑
    Game is 10 years old now but looks well preserved, it has nice atmospheric distant views, though trees are not rendered all the way to the edge of the map. Character models are distinctive.

    Music? Great 5/5 ☑

    Hardware requirements? Low-end. ☑

    How difficult? Easy. ☑ Normal. ☑ Hard. ☑
    It had easy parts, hard fights and some tricky missions. Overall felt balanced. Furthermore game offers three difficulty options.

    How long? 5-10 hours. ☑

    Verdict. 9/10 it's great. I do not want to spoil the surprises.    … Expand

Не интересная история о двух персонажей, которым не сопереживаешь, абсолютно глупо подвязана идея с золотом ацтеков (только из за того что жанр велит так), три вида оружие: лук с замедлением времени (что!?), вариации револьверов и пару видов винтовок. Не пойми зачем убогий стелс, который неоднократно встречается, лицам персонажей позавидуют зомби из RE4, только два женских персонажа еще более менее. Для меня она на один раз и переигрывать вообще не собираюсь, а вот GUN перепроходил по несколько раз, на много веселей и приятней. Это далеко не все минусы и глупости этой игры, не вижу смысла тратить время их описывая, так- как было потрачено на саму игру 5 часов...    … Expand

    Epic load times mean that you are already frustrated with this game even before you start to play. A lack of a proper tutorial, in some of the games major aspects, such as getting around with the whip make the first hour of this game incredibly frustrating. The massive amount of dialogue followed by lots of walking around doing nothing followed by short spats of actual shooting at bad guys make this game boring and frustrating.

    The linear combat and level design make this a one play through game, if you even end up finishing it at all. Half the game is spent running away from enemies rather than fighting them and traveling through a vast empty terrain for what feels like an eternity with nothing to do but look at the scenery.

    What really annoys me about this game is that when you get bored of riding around doing nothing for 5 minutes and you want to shoot at a few wild animals to curb you boredom the game kills you and reloads because the developers don't believe in harming animals!!! Was this game developed by the WSPA!!! But wait, killing humans is OK but i cant kill a wild animal, COME ON!!!

    This game is defiantly beautiful to look at and for its time has some cool in game features, but as a playable title, it fails. Having payed for this game, I won't be bothered to pay for, or play any of its sequels.    … Expand

    The FPS with Reverend Ray is gripping and a lot of fun, with nice ideas like the concentration mode, the    Call of Juarez is both a first-person shooter and a stealth game. You plays some levels as Reverend Ray a creepily charismatic character, a former bandit turned a priest but still ready to use his guns and others as his young nephew Billy, always sneaking around his enemies.

    The FPS with Reverend Ray is gripping and a lot of fun, with nice ideas like the concentration mode, the peculiar two guns mode and the duels.

    The levels with Billy bored me to tears, and honestly I played them just to get the next Reverend Ray part. The developers did a far better job with action than with stealth: the former crackles with excitement, the latter is clunky and repetitive.    … Expand

    Great game with replay value because I'm now playing it again. The graphics are pretty darned good for that time period. The in game vistas are stunning. The western style, cowboy music is great. The voice acting particularly Ray's and Billie's, are perfect. My ONLY objection is the dead eye accuracy and radar vision of the A.I. As the player I wish I could shoot and spot the enemyGreat game with replay value because I'm now playing it again. The graphics are pretty darned good for that time period. The in game vistas are stunning. The western style, cowboy music is great. The voice acting particularly Ray's and Billie's, are perfect.     it isn't bad it's a good game it would be awesome except for some issues and bugs it could get frustrating sometimes but it gives you the western feel after all story isn't that good but it is satisfying
    in all not a bad game worth playing

    I liked this game, but I didn't love it. If they had kept the whole game during the civil war and on civil war battlefields, this would have been one of the best games I had every played. Unfortunately, they go west and the game goes flat. Great voice acting, though.

    Very nice game. The story, graphics and the sounds are really good. This is the best western game i ever played and the Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. The tasks are nice. You need to ride a horse, duel, jumping with lasso and a lot of more.

Ray's storyline wasn't all that great - it was rather predictable and boring at times. The kid's story line was better, if sometimes he was too whiny for my taste. The graphics were kind of hit and miss - the scenery was absolutely awesome (especially the feather level), butDefinitely one of the best western games ever made.     Terrible level design means you can easily sneak off the map and see everything from the outside as if you had noclipped. Swinging mechanics with the whip are godawful. Combat just isn't all that fun.

    For all the charm the game has (and it definitely has it,) it's just not enough to save a game that's fundamentally broken.

    That's what i call one of the best games of all time! I was waiting a western game like for ever and it finally came true. What can i say, i felt in love with that game... Each mission is like having sex with the most beautiful girls on this planet. The storyline is just perfect, the voice acting was so well performed that i thought i was in there in real-time!     i so loved the duels like the old wild west, riding a horse,... The caracters really had an incredible story to tell. Every weapon on that game is unique. Every mission was diferent, like i was playing a new game of call of juarez.
    Chrome Engine really did a great touch on the graphics, i will definitely watch every game what will be released with that engine. The gameplay is awesome, AI is like they would be real enemies, lile they were defending and attacking by them selfs without any scripts, superb.
    This game should have more sales, Techland really deserved having more profits. Multiplayer of that game is unique, so awesome... I could spend the whole day to praise that game... I do want a sequel but wild west too...
    Let's see how Cal of Juarez:the Cartel will be, hope another awesome game like Bound in Blood.

    A decent storyline, and entertaining (albeit simplistic) gameplay mechanics. Most of the levels feel incredibly linear and terribly under-utilized. Graphics are decent but not stellar, a significant number of invisible walls give the level design a 'cheap' feeling. Save points sometimes force one to listen to long cutscenes. AI is fairly rudimentary, and puzzles simply take A decent storyline, and entertaining (albeit simplistic) gameplay mechanics. Most of the levels feel incredibly linear and terribly under-utilized. Graphics are decent but not stellar, a significant number of invisible walls give the level design a 'cheap' feeling. Save points sometimes force one to listen to long cutscenes. AI is fairly rudimentary, and puzzles simply take forever, but are not challenging (or satisfying). Fails miserably when compared to adventure games like prince of Persia.… Expand

    The presentation is nothing short of stunning in places, but is nothing above terrible in others. It hooks you at the beginning with a promising storyline and the popular setting, but just seems to not care if it keeps you on the line or not, sinking into mediocrity way too often to ever draw you all the way in.
