May 16, 2023A very mediocre shooter that time seems to have forgotten. The repeated reuse of assets, very bland and uninteresting locations and levels, and the disjointed story make this a bit of a relic, but if you're into cowboy shooters, this has plenty of blood and fun campy aspects to satisfy.

Apr 30, 2023pretty straight simple game, it is not shooter it's just shooting range and you standing still and shooting enemy without any chance to die
-
Feb 26, 2023Although it seems like a good game to distribute bullets, it has a game structure that continues with a strange integrity. Even if it goes well, you will throw the game into a corner as soon as it starts to repeat itself. It's a clichéd revenge story, with some poorly executed parts. It's just a "basic" game. Not very bad but not very well. It could be better. -5

Dec 20, 2022Short and peppy shooter for a couple of evenings. Very cool style and good storytelling. The graph for the game 9 years ago looks quite nice. You should not expect much from this game, but it is quite possible to run through it.

Feb 27, 2022This is an FPS game set in the wild west. The voice acting is superb and the environment design is not so bad. The best thing about this game is the interesting storytelling with comic like sketches. The combat is average.

Feb 11, 2020Well its a good game but nothing else. Gameplay is good and saytisfying but the story is forgettable and kind of cliche. The art direction looks nice.

Aug 19, 2017A good western and a good action movie, no more and no less. True, "good" does not mean "outstanding" - like many other good fighters, Gunslinger is rather brief, does not disdain obvious self-repetitions, and scripts in it are not always in place.

Oct 1, 2015Call of Juarez Gunslinger was short but incredibly fun. Nice visuals and a non stop action packed campaign.
If the campaign was longer I would have given this an 8 or 9. -
Sep 24, 2015This is a fun game. I like playing a western themed game, the narration and story were spot on. The graphics are well done and sine in 4k. It reminds me of playing the first red dead game. It was made by developers that seemed like they were wanting to make a game they wanted to play themselves.

Aug 13, 2014The game while in a great setting and solid mechanics fails to use this potential. After a strong start while fresh the game quickly becomes highly repetitive and a chore to finish.
That being said it is still quite fun but it fails to keep those levels up.

Jul 30, 2013The Call of Juarez series has had its ups and downs over the years, but Gunslinger stands proud—not only against its own checkered past, but against the FPS genre as a whole. It may not be a subtle or particularly nuanced experience, but it's certainly a cracking good time delivered with a style and confidence that's rarely seen in a full-priced title, let alone a $15 download.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 9, 2013Call of Juarez returns to western genre, and that is fine. A pity though, it imitates itself, even its competition. However, this story is worth it even without a happy-ending. [Issue#231]

Jul 5, 2013Don’t mistake price for quality – this is a top-notch shooter, limited in resources but not in heart.
