    This game has rampant cheaters such as seen in PUBG...
    The game itself is annoying.
    I can do 30 kills in Free For All with 3-4 Deaths.
    The campaign is **** violent and gore.

    Graphics: Pretty solid.
    Game-play: **** works mostly. (will occasionally spawn in a wall or already dead) Balance : None.. (Shotguns are king in a corner) Maps : Straight trash. (to small, bad spawns maps are largely one overriding color tan or green or blue) Also can not see stuff    I dont care that the Russians were bad guys. Its a game and not real.     Spawns : Trash ( revenge spawns are awful maps are so small they almost always spawn directly behind you. )

    Game Modes (uninteresting and unplayable/not fun/camp-fests)

    It's slightly better than previous cods even though its just another remake. The game does not reward objective game-play. So if you play prepare to camp or spend all your time flushing full teams out of corners.. People are too scared to move. This makes every multiplayer game a meat grinder where you are trading your death for one or two kills trying to get a full team out of a room while your teammates camp across the map doing nothing.    … Expand

    The story revolves around Russian army invasion in fictional Urzikstan, while I can understand the reasoning behind making Russians the bad guys again, I cannot forgive that writers just took american war crimes committed on Middle East and present like Russians did them. I am talking about Highway of Death and Haditha massacre. Developers have either been ignoring PC players who are suffering from constant crashes that are easy to reproduce, or they are simply too incompetent to find the cause. Many people can't even reach the main menu, let alone start the campaign or a multiplayer match.     Wow, all the people claiming racism... almost nothing about the actual game. WELL, Here's some about this pile of dead rats that they call a game;

    The map design is awful. The small maps are overrun by people using gas grenades. The first team to manage to get a gas can off is usually the winner.     The map design is awful. The small maps are overrun by people using gas grenades. The first team to manage to get a gas can off is usually the winner. The mid range maps are camp havens as there's one or two entrances at most into every building. Trying to play the ground war maps is like attempting to swallow a whole coconut after you superglued it to a live crocodile. The spawn camping on ANY map is something that has been brought up to the support team on many occasions, but they have done absolutely noting to curb it.

    The gun play is completely disastrous. When an SMG is out sniping real sniper rifles and only one gun is OP so pretty much everyone uses it, it's unfathomably unacceptable. But they do nothing to change it.

    The spawn placement needs to be addressed in this stack of dehydrated cockroach wifties as well. You CONSTANTLY spawn in an enemy's retacle, often while they are shooting. There have been a rediculous number of times that I have been killed as a collateral due to spawning on a teammate that they claim is not in combat.

    The sun glare is cool if you like being instantly having a rod of almighty hammers rammed into your eyes the moment you look towards the side of the map the sun is on. Oh. And the side it's on never changes, which puts one team at a complete disadvantage 100% of the time.

    The sound design is abhorrent, what with some people somehow being able to hear footsteps through walls in the next building over while hiding in the fridge when others can't even hear a helicopter loaded with raid sirens and fog horns blasting Guns n' Roses off key rolling up behind them.

    The obvious lying about server latency is unacceptable as well. Telling me there's only 58 milliseconds of ping when it takes well over half a second for point blank rounds to register makes the number given an obvious farce.

    Then there's the issue with the CONSTANT crashing makes it clear that the developers didn't even bother to optimize the game for PC whatsoever. Ever-constant dev errors cause the game to freeze and you have to play a guessing game as to whether you've crashed or if it's going to come back to your eyes bleeding with your character praying for mercy as the other team skullbangs you in rapid succession because, of course, you cannot move when your game is frozen..

    The clear lack of quality assurance testing and the obvious lack of care from the devs make this game a waste of hard-earned money. Save your pennies for the next battlefield. At least they care about what the players say about the game.    … Expand

I get a crash every time I try to load in even though i have controlled that all game files are installed correct plus that all of my drivers are up to date. So at least on my pc there isn't a single player mode. You don't have access to survival because it's exclusive to ps4 for a YEAR. Then we have the multiplayer. Are you beeing manipulated or are you aware that there is no such thing then good or evil faction in war or nations or on a closer psych look even in humans.     the game is unplayable. it is not a fabulously crafted graphical masterpiece, it is just so poorly optimised that its so horribly hard to run on even low graphic settings despite my pc being able to run better looking games just fine. not to mention the 200+ gb file size which is utterly abysmal. Doom eternal is under a quarter of this. multiplayer is awful. maybe titanfall 2 has raised my standards a ton but the map design is awful. it promotes camping which is unfun to play or play against. the gun play is somewhat satisfying but is ruined by how **** the optimisation is. just because the file size is bigger than activision's wallet it doesn't mean its content rich. just because its so abysmally optimised it doesn't mean its visually impressive. titanfall has way better animations and is 4 years older. it still is the king of multiplayer shooters. in fact infinity ward nicked executions from them this game since nicking advanced movement didn't work out. at least they can use executions to force in micro transactions in a full priced game. the only thing this game has going for it is the weapon customisation which is still a step down from black ops 3, although both are equally **** overall… Expand

    The multiplayer is broken, worst maps ever on the saga that I don't know how but for the f* campers with their claymores work well. Not to mention the awful respawn in shipment. I don't enjoy whatsoever this game.

    Heartless Mapdesign, unfair deaths, bad hitpoints, to high time to kill, tons of hackers and campers, bad weapons, and the millions of little Fortnitekids milked by Activision for every cent.

    Bought this for the Ray Tracing GFX on my rig, amazing gfx audio is good as well, however to me that's a given in this day and age. The game its standard call of duty which means too many snipers, too many campers and a killcam that can't be turned off. Weapons are varied and good fun,.     Vehicles are pointless people just use them to run people over. Killstreak hardpoint the action is too fast-paced to call them in most of the time. It seems the devs are incapable of learning the failures of the past by not allowing a max number of snipers on each side, giving an option on vehicles.    … Expand

What they actually got: glitches, crashes and evil Russians in a criminally short campaign that doesn't even form a cohesive story. What they actually got: glitches, crashes and evil Russians in a criminally short campaign that doesn't even form a cohesive story. Multiplayer is painful thanks to skill based matchmaking and the devs constantly lying their product. They claimed there would be no skill based matchmaking in Warzone, however players on YouTube have shown with their data that there is no doubt SBMM is in everything. Regardless of your opinion on SBMM, nobody should tolerate being sold a false bill of goods. SBMM is inferior to connection based simply by not providing you with the best connection possible. No further analysis needed. Nobody wants to be playing competitively in 2020 with 60/70+ ms ping. Games from 10+ years ago provided a smoother online experience. The final nail in the coffin for this title is the PC cheaters in Warzone. There appears to literally be no anti cheat in the game. Console players are disabling crossplay, defeating the entire purpose of it existing, and nobody can blame them. This MW should have be been a title for the ages but we were met with straight up lies about the game and a sub par experience.

    FYI Activision has a patent for MTX based matchmaking, that is to say, players who spend money in the game store will be rewarded by being placed in matches with players far below their own skill level. Players who do not pay this literal bribe to have "fun" are punished and used as fodder for the players who do spend money.

    In summary the game has no anti cheat, possible MTX based matchmaking, definite SBMM, mediocre at best story, glitches aplenty, and still has the nerve to harass you with buying gimmicky junk from the store with glorified pop-ups from the 90s on a full price AAA title.

    If players tolerate this behavior, they will have no one to blame besides themselves for future titles. We need to stop submitting to this and start voicing our opinions with our wallets by refusing to pay for this junk.

    This game exists for the sole purpose of squeezing as much money out of gullible players who throw money at shiny cosmetics and swindling players with lies about the games mechanics.    … Expand

    Single-player is fun and engaging enough, but sadly like many previous Call of Duty titles the multiplayer continues to be very childish and twitchy.

    Playing cod since 2008.
    Played like 200 hours of this game.

    Graphics and animations are good.
    But the game itself isn't enjoyable.

    Campaign gives 0 feelings and multiplayer model is basically hello 2007 but worse.
    Feels like a cheap free2play shooter with modern shaders.

    The only game I've ever played that consistently gets worse with every update. Activision clearly doesn't care at all about it's customers. If I could get a refund at this point I would.

    The game is generally good. Good multiplayer, good pumping of weapons, spectacular scenes in the story mode. But there is one minus that kills the entire story campaign. I am from Russia and I’m sorry that they show so Russian there. What is shown about Russians in the story campaign is not true. This game is VERY overdone with Russophobia. Tired of looking at bad Russians.

    Игра не менялась больше 10 лет если исключать изменения в графике. И вот наконец разработчики подарили долгожданное изменение. Теперь игра стала не просто рассказывать альтернативную историю но и выставлять целую страну фашистами без весомых оснований. Для того что бы моя оценка не был нулем достаточно было просто показать хотя бы какое то осуждение деятельности представленных в игреИгра не менялась больше 10 лет если исключать изменения в графике. И вот наконец разработчики подарили долгожданное изменение. Теперь игра стала не просто рассказывать альтернативную историю но и выставлять целую страну фашистами без весомых оснований. Для того что бы моя оценка не был нулем достаточно было просто показать хотя бы какое то осуждение деятельности представленных в игре русских войск со стороны их соотечественников. Но нет, сюжет не показывает альтернативного мнения в стане врага что выставляет все приведенные изуверства как одобряемые и узаконенные не только руководством странны но и мнением народа. Русские не в первый раз выставляются противниками в серии, и никогда я ранее не имел претензий по этому поводу как бы не показывали его представителей, потому что это всегда были отдельно взятые люди, им противостояли другие русские лоялисты которые осуждали их действия и всячески помогали в борьбе с ними.     Really bad Maps for Multiplayer, Spawns are bad, too much camping players and unbalanced weapons.

    Only positive things are graphics and the weapon handling.

    Never buy a call of duty again. This was the last one.

    Got this game for free, because I bought an RTX card. It took ages to activate for some unknown reasons. Even login to Battle.net wasn't working properly. Once I finally managed to download the ridiculous 200Gb this game takes, I was met with constant crashes. The game also constantly switched to desktop. I still managed to make it work after way too much efforts for what it's worth, but got bored eventually. The raytracing looks very good in this game, but that's probably the most interesting thing about this game.

    I still wanted to finish the campaign eventually, but it won't let me play the single player if I won't update the game through the launcher. The thing is, the launcher broke AGAIN and won't let me update nor install anything new. After wasting another 1 or 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong, the only solution was to delete and reinstall Battle.net and MW. Now I can finally download again the 200Gb and finally finish this mediocre game once the downloading will be done in 2 or 3 hours...

    This is utter ridiculous. If this is what it takes to avoid piracy in 2020, I don't want to be any part of this. You can be sure that I'll never buy anything using the Blizzard launcher.    … Expand

    This game is just bad. I actually bought it to level up weapons faster for Warzone, but quickly became disillusioned. You thought camping was bad in Warzone, wait til you see the same guy get in the same corner the entire match, knowing you wont be able to see him. Just bad all around.

    -CAMPING! This game is constructed on every damn level to help campers, it is literally the worst call of duty ever. 3/4 of teams will sit in some corner and listen to the footsteps.

    - HIT REGISTRATION! You can lie down below some obstacles and enemy can shot over it and you still will get hit.

    - POV! Enemy can kill you with his forehead, most of old FPS game suffers from this absurd.

    - NO CONSITENCY! When you adapt to camper playstyle you still got focked by some rechargable skill that has no footsteps at all.

    - ENEMY SPAWNING ON YOUR BACK! From thin air, appearing there just kill you, IW is introducing this anarchy to diminish the good players obviously.

    - NO REALISM INVOLVED ON ANY STAGE OF THE GAME. Ak47 headshots are not deadly even witch the chest shot as a followup and furthermore, you can get healed automatically in a very short time, also you can get an item that heals you instantly in combat, so as you can imagine all of this makes completely no sense in battle. Guns with high fire-rate can use all ammo from point-blank range and sometimes the enemy is still standing, yet some other time you will die from RPG hiting a wall 5 meters behind you and things like that. Complete mess.

    - CHEATERS! Devs are doing nothing to fight that plague, and there are cheaters in literally every second match.

    - BUGS AND CRASHES! This software is on a virus level quality. Sometimes the game wants to re-download all 220gb and reinstall it repeatedly over and over, sometimes you will be disconnected when the match is being loaded, sometimes this game will crash so hard you need to restart your entire system.

    The game was fun, I was enjoying it a lot. Multiplayer and Warzone both. And then, for no reason, my account was permanently banned. I never cheated, trash talked, or had anything at all sketchy installed on my PC.

    The best part is, Activision will not let you appeal your ban, at all, ever.     In general, the gameplay is nice, and some missions are pretty interesting. As others mentioned in their reviews, the story is written awfully. There is a lot of political propaganda, and the plot contains an extreme amount of Russophobia. I expected it to be grayer as it is in real wars, but there it's just pure and disgusting propaganda.

    Don’t get me wrong the new engine and the awesome campaign is a nice refresh from futuristic cod. But the multiplayer is what killed the game for me starting with the SBMM that makes it really frustrating and not fun to play up against other player and that also camp. The maps are mixed some I like and don’t like but they are all made to camp.     Multiplayer: crude designed, cqb style maps, literally 8 containers placed together. Dying on spawn is nice, IW and Raven? Too bad all good devs gone to Respawn Ent.     It’s hard to tell why there was so much ado about single-player campaign: controversial topics aside, it’s completely mediocre. On the other hand, the multiplayer mode is one of the best in latest instalments of Call of Duty series. [Issue#241, p.49]

    It’s undeniably well-made albeit controversial part of the series. One that tries to break the mold and open itself to another kind of player. It’s worth of praise, even if just for that. I recommend it especially to Battlefield players – you may be pleasantly surprised. [13/2019, p.50]
