    What a terrible game from top to bottom. Treyarch and activision team up once again to release a horrible product. First of all the graphics. What is with the cartoonish graphics ? i feel like im playing in a bugs bunny cartoon. The music is terrible , sound effects generic , and gameplay so arcadish it makes ya want to puke.     One has to wonder if their marketing budget was bigger than their development budget. Treyarch has deviated too far from the formula that made them successful in the first place. I can't figure out if COD Black Ops III is a CS expansion pack or an Unreal Tournament expansion pack. Either way, its simply a mixture of both games. Nothing what you would expect from a COD title. Other than themselves, the only other mob I can think of that would be just as happy with this release is the BF franchise, and if I had known this was a console port I would never have wasted my money.… Expand

    This frigging launch is worse than notorious EA game launches. The product itself not just crashes like EA games do but is COMPLETELY NON-FUNCTIONAL!

    It starts in weird framed windowed mode offsetted to the top left of my screen. After the logo fade out it just get stuck in main menu without ever being able to connect online, a few seconds later it crashes.     I've already played beta on steam some time ago, so I didn't expect anything new from the game.
    I'll keep it short: even though I was barely able to play this game at all (due to performance issues), I've still played for around 40 mins of the campaign and had to turn it off.
    Campaign is dull, boring and repetative.
    Multiplayer brings nothing new.
    This is a waste of time and cash.

    Call of duty is just going down hill, Black ops 2 was really good, the multiplayer, the map lay out, the mechanics, it's not super fast paced like advanced warfare. Now they put Destiny and Advanced Warfare into a blender and added awesome sound effects and slapped this game together, the map lay outs are poor, the weapons are meh, the maps just feel no where near as friendly as bo2 did. And With my $130 logitech g910 keyboard i'd sure like to customize my g1,g2 etc. keys but no those arent on there, can't even customize your killstreak keys. don't waste your money on this game, I can't believe you treyarch.… Expand

    This game should be called Generic Shooter: Bad Performance.
    I didn't thought it's possible to create something more awful then Ghosts. I was wrong. Plot is disappointing and predictable. The very beginning feels like some kind of weird AW deja vu.

    I hope you get it: don't buy this game or ask for a refund. And f*ck all that critics giving this pile of sh*t high scores. Why you mislead your customers?    … Expand

    The game is poorly optimized, it sure is. Im in a lucky 5% playing without any issues tho, and I liked the game since very start. This is a first CoD title for me, since CoD World at War, and I appreciate how big it is. Also, If you dont like how battlefield changed after 4, this game may just be for you. Regarding optimization~ Patches are on the way, so its not gonna stay in the sameThe game is poorly optimized, it sure is.     This game is a joke. Horrendous writing, bugs everywhere, boring weapon gameplay. The presentation is neat, but after the first mission that doesn't help the game get any less boring. Literally not gonna finish this and get a refund.

    Overall this is what happens when you design a game and the marketing and finance team makes every last decision.

    Absolute abomination of a game. There is no innovation, and most ideas are ripped straight out of previous games. The campaign is laughably bad !! The multi-player maps are uninspired. On top of that, there are tons of glitches. Quit buying this and play some better games. Click on my name to see the games that are actually worth playing. Quit giving these incompetent lazy devs your money.

    I Haven't been happy with a call of duty game since the first Black Ops. I am extremely enjoying my time in Black Ops 3! I havn't had any problems with framerate, and it looks and plays damn fine.

    If that was the first call of duty game, there would be no COD haters and would be more appreciated...
    This is a multiplayer game; i havent finished the campain...I love it ! ...may be a little expensive (80$) but
    considering i m gonna play it for few hundred hours, its no big deal then...If you want fast and fun multi fps with nice graphics, buy it ! ; )

E.T(atari from the 80's). deserved a 0-1, but not this. The least it should get is a 7.5 and that's a solid statement. They're just BF converts now upset that it's not BF...That's all.     It's COD, what'd you expect?! They've got a lot of new elements to the game, it seems to run and feel solid both graphically and responsive to controls. I haven't had any of the issues that the others are talking about. One guy didn't even play it after messing with the settings for 2hrs...but gave it a 1 or something like that. Hateful community!!
    As I've stated...It's COD, it's going to look, feel and sound like COD, but I like the new elements they threw into it. Last COD I played was BO2, so maybe take that into consideration. It's a good game and I feel I got what I paid for, but I also knew what to expect....I wasn't blown away, but definitely better than what I had expected.

    batman arkham knight (broken aswell) runs on a higher framerate on a windows 95 than this port runs on one of the computers from nasa. THIS IS NOW 150 CHARACTERS.

    Get your refund from STEAM before you play for two hours. Or save the two hours , wait a few days and try again if you really want this one. I;m going to save the money for Fallout 4 instead.

    Another AAA game with severe technical issues?! Wow, just... wow. How this stuff continues to get released is baffling, and completely unacceptable. The game itself is decent if you can run it properly. It adds a few new, interesting things, but ultimately doesn't expand beyond what we expect from a typical COD game.

Restart and repeat the process to have it grind to a halt in another 5 or so minutes.

    Completely unplayable and i am left yet again asking the developer - did you fking play your own game on pc before releasing it?

    I have a ps4, x1 and pc... really startinv to think my investment into the pc ecosystem was a miskate because it seems like a lot of high end developers enjoy playing jokes on us by releasing substandard and broken games every other month.

    Avoid at the current time.

    Badly optimized for PC...stuttering completely wrecks the experience.
    I would not recommend getting this game...and look at the "verified" reviewers reviews.

    At the time of writing this had 2 80+ reviews and 1 90+ review.
    Obviously paid for, but don't fall for it...DO NOT GET THIS GAME.

    Once again, we are getting a "game" recycled over and over and over and over AGAIN. I'm sorry COD fanboys just face the truth and go play a real game that isn't all about shooting everything. If you like recycled sh*t, not a great story, one new gameplay feature then go play Call of Duty Black Ops III.

The system I'm running is slightly older with a core i7 920, GTX 970 and as mentioned above 24gb ddr3.     Nice multiplayer.
    Nice Zombies.
    Nice graphic.
    Great port.
    and new modes such as nightmare and free run and with the modding tools coming next time it will be even better.

    Best Call of Duty ever,it delivers an amazing experience with a great port from Treyarch.
    People may found some FPS drops in the campaign especially if you are using a i5,however PCDEV already said that they are working on a fix for those issues

    Black Ops 3 is contains the usual 5 hour campaign    Probably the best Call of Duty in recent years but despite a sterling effort from Treyarch in terms of a content-laden game; it is absolutely clear that the franchise has run its course. Also an inconsistent performance on PC and several old issues that have plagued the series previous, make this port an extremely disappointing release.

    Black Ops 3 is contains the usual 5 hour campaign which is painfully linear, overly-cinematic and fails to inspire. The zombies mode will keep fans engaged for a while but if you want the complete experience; you'll need to spend a small fortune on the DLC and wait several months before the content starts flowing. The multiplayer aspect is a vast improvement over Advanced Warfare and Ghosts with fluid mechanics, lots of customisation and some enjoyable maps. Sadly the game is exceptionally buggy with crippling lag, dreadful bullet detection and very repetitive combat. Even the wealth of specialists, weapons and classes can't help the gameplay feel samey throughout.

    Treyarch were the last hope of salvaging the series and despite a strong offering in terms of a feature-packed title; it's simply not enough which indicates the franchise is at its end. With Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward up next; Activision would be better off calling it a day. Despite the strong positives of BO3; the series fails to have the same impact and quality that it once had and with games like Fallout 4 on the horizon; this game with all its woes will fail to keep you engaged.    … Expand

    First Call of Duty I didn't like. Just didn't "feel it" (Note, this is based on multiplayer, never touched COD singel player). Awful optimization issues did not help, 5930K/970 SLI and frame drops to 10-20 fps ever 30sec from 100. Seems to have bad memory leak issues.

    Easily the best COD to date. Better than its predecessors on the next gen in every way possible. Multiplayer maps have a great size and the zombie's map is huge, possibly too big.

My PC can run all other games very well (even Arkham Knight), there is no excuse for dodgy performance in this game that looks very "meh".     awesome but I have no sound? :D great story missed with awesome and fun zombies and multiplayer. Black Ops III presents the most ambitious campaign yet.

    I can say this is the best call of duty game ever made. don't doubt on buying this. great story missed with awesome and fun zombies and multiplayer. and new modes such as nightmare and free run and with the modding tools coming next year it will be even better.

    A bit better than the Ghosts, but worse than Advanced Warfare – new Call of Duty is awkwardly trying to make some changes in single player, but adding a bunch of technical problems in the same time. Multiplayer it is flawless as usual. [Issue#258]

    Treyarch gives us a Call of Duty game that is brimming with content and is sure to provide hundreds of hours of entertainment to its buyers. It’s just a shame that the focus on the quantity of content ended up causing a lack of polish in some areas.
