Feb 3, 2016Okey, this was... awesomely different?
I don't wanna spoil the experience, so it's hard to talk about it. I was amazed by how different it is from everything I played so far, and even with its short duration, how fullfilling it was for me.
Want me to define it? Smart, anxious, well-rounded, uncomfortable, unique... and also meta as ****
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! -
Feb 4, 2016I have no words... I've just played Calendula and I think it is amazing. It is different. I think it is an experience. It felt like a movie, very Lynch-y. It is not a game for everybody, but I've recommended it to some friends, hope they like it as much as I do. It has just become one of my favourite indie games.

Feb 3, 2019Great game for what it is. I'm giving a score related to the value of the game, which is great. It's a short game, with no tutorials, very simple gameplay yet complex/creative enough to capture your attention for a couple of hours. If anything it was too short but you can't expect much more from an indie budget title, yet it was more rewarding than some AAA titles.

Sep 16, 2016The gameplay mechanics alone were refreshing, but I honestly can’t recommend the game if you’re looking for something substantial. Calendula feels like a game that on the outside is full of ideas, but the story lacks the detail to be impactful.

CD-ActionMay 1, 2016For those who are searching for something different, something really bonkers. [04/2016, p.41]

Feb 26, 2016Not content with simply letting you try to play it, Calendula is very much a game that plays you. It's a thrilling commentary on the relationship between player and game.
