Apr 1, 2015The game is absolutely magnificent, unique and engaging, like a fairytale but with more maturity, even the main characters being children. A satisfying ending, with a great story told. I love the game, the same day that I had downloaded, I had already finished the game.

Jan 8, 2017Прекрасная сказка.
Очень красивые пейзажи и локации. Геймплей даёт новый опыт, интересно сделан. История проста, но от этого не менее трогательна.
Лучше сыграть, чем увидеть. -

May 10, 2017"I am thrilled that I never thought that ending would be as that!" - It was very tragically adventure game that I found myself crying.
Very immersive and heartfelt. Indeed an awesome experience! My hat off to the creator. -
Jul 30, 2017I think that this is truly a unique game and I would recommend that if you are a fan of this type of genre then I think you should give this game a try.

Apr 28, 2018The force of two brothers in a quest to help a ill father will put you in a great cooperative adventure! Even if you play all by yourself, you will have to deal with strategic moments to act with the two brothers at same time but with different actions. Very good gameplay, art and story.
-
May 25, 2020Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is such a beautiful and magical tapestry of story weaving. The minimalistic design told through imagery, ambiance and music come together to create a gem of an experience. Simply a masterpiece.
-
Sep 6, 2019This game is a masterpiece, the game switches up the mechanics quickly, the pacing is great, this game also has very emotional moments which i didn't expect of a game at this price point. BUY IT

Nov 12, 2019In short, amazing game. It has real emotions, beautiful graphics, smart puzzles and a sense of adventure. Only problem I had is that if playing on PC you sometimes need to break your fingers playing both brothers alone :). This is made as a co-op game and you should really find someone and play together. I know, duh :).
-
Jan 5, 2020At first sight I found the gameplay weird, but playing more got used to it and fell in love with the story that is amazing! The only possible note after playing this artwork is 10!
-
Jan 31, 2020a great story, with a great setting. it feels like being inside a brothers grimm tale. dont get fooled by the bright colors and lights. the game gets darker as you progress.
-
Apr 4, 2020good game
-
May 3, 2020An amazing sad story, adventure, cleaver but not too difficult puzzles that won’t take your attention from the story, amazing soundtrack. Honestly, one of the best games I played in a while.

Jul 9, 2020Gold. The best way to tell a story using gameplay. The genius of this game cannot be represented by any other type of media.
Most emotional I have ever been during a game. -
Dec 17, 2020Played it with my nephew and had a lot of fun. Great storytelling without using any language. Made me think what percentage the speaking has in conversations.
-
Feb 24, 2022Una historia corta y muy buena, jugabilidad simple y gráficos como si fueran una pelicula animada

Aug 10, 2023This is the only game I ever saw where you play multiple characters at once. It's a unique experience with an amazing story and good graphics. Only thing I asked myself is why there is no support for local multiplayer...
-
Sep 26, 2013A classic through and through. Hard to fault this game to be honest and wholly justifies it's high praise. Started and finished in one sitting just shy of 4 hours (I paced myself as I didn't want it it end). Will I play it again? Probably not for a few years at least. Even with that in mind, I highly recommend anyone give this a bash as it's worth your money and your time. Enjoy.
-
Sep 28, 2013I loved it, the game conveys a powerful story without saying a word in any actual language, go play it f you haven't already, there's nothing quite like it out there

May 29, 2014Innovative game-play and controls scheme, beautiful environments and artistic style, touching story, interesting spatial puzzles ... quite short (less than 5 hours) but I still highly recommend it to everybody willing to try something non-standard and different.

Sep 19, 2013Everyone should play this. It's as simple as that. The game does have a couple of minor problems, especially the cheesy music that actually hurts the emotional impact of the story, but when it works (which is 95% of the time), it works in a way that you have simply never experienced before. There's not a whole lot of unique games these days. This is one of them. Go buy it now.
-
Dec 29, 2013Two minuses. 1st The game is too short. 2nd Too sad finish. Everything else in this game is perfect. Recommend to all except children cause of too sad scenario.
-
Jul 25, 2014Everything about this game is made to perfection, or at least close to perfection.
The sounds are great, the aesthetics are great, the use of the control is amazing.
The characters represent emotion perfectly.
have to say though, the gameplay is potentially boring. -

Feb 19, 2016A game working with just an analog stick and only one use button (OK, two sticks, two buttons). The controls are uncommon but that's nice. Although there are no dialogues, no quests and no inventory, the game is definitely a must-play because of it's very emotional and fine made story.
-
Sep 17, 2013A beautiful and emotional game that perfectly merges story telling and gameplay. My only gripe would be that it is too short to get fully emotionally involved with the characters, there also are some bad textures but all that does not matter much as this is one of the best story driven games I've ever played.
-
Sep 3, 2013This game is a gem. i didn't expect to like it so much. The story and ending are simply amazing. I recommend this game to anyone who likes a good adventure. The game is only 3 hours long and there is not too much of a challenge but overall it's an awesome experience. i enjoyed this more than any of these recent blockbuster games. Yes it's that good. 9/10

Sep 9, 2013This is one of the few games you can truly call "art". The way the story is portrayed, the way characters are developed (even without any! comprehensible dialogue) and the way the game pulls you into the story is simply marvelous.
This game is a must play for any gamer worth his salt. -
Oct 27, 2013Graphically, this is the most beautiful game I have ever played. The music is also beautiful. I was disappointed with how the story turned out but despite that, the game absolutely amazed me.
-
Sep 18, 2013An outstanding little game. It has fairly basic puzzle gameplay and somewhat questionable controls, but the graphics, setting and emotionally impacting story more than makes up for it. A fantastic and meaningful adventure that is recommended to all.
-
Sep 23, 2013A hidden gem, absolutely outstanding in all aspects. It tests reflexes, puzzle solving, and how well you can hold your emotions. The visuals are great, the sound immerses you, overall just amazing. The game is short, but since I've replayed it twice I can say the price is justified.

Jan 18, 2014Great game. Gameplay-wise is a bit simplistic, but makes that up with the control-two-characters-at-a-time mechanic. Good setting and storyline. I'm also glad that it doesn't last more than necessary, just about 3 hours, which for this game it feels like the way it has to be.
-
Dec 13, 2013I loved this game. Sometimes the controls plays tricks on your mind, but it's fantastic. It's not very challenging, but it's makes for a great adventure. My only gripe is that I wish it were longer!
-
Mar 16, 2014Probably one of the most beautiful Indie games I've ever played. And I'm not solely talking about the graphics and the scenery, but also about the atmosphere and the lovable main characters. I haven't been as touched by a game in a long time, and man, did the ending leave me in a one big pile of emotions.
The game is short, but it's three hours well spent. -

Mar 6, 2014What a fantastic, heartbreaking and innovative little game with such a lovely story about two sons on their journey to find medicine for their dying father. Some scenes really let me sit in front of my tv with my eyes wide open. If you like games with new game mechanics and less action this is an absolutely must have.

Aug 24, 2014Very short (as expected) even if playing very slowly. It is a deep adventure full of feelings, it is a poem. I am not really familiar with the nordic culture, but it is a wonderful adventure worth to be played more than one time (achievements are also not easy to find, and no description will be given). Stunning scenery, wonderful graphics, and it looks amazing in 3D if you like 3D. 90/100

Oct 23, 2015Un juego que no monopoliza a un personaje, un juego en el que se coopera aunque juegues tu solo, un juego que hace llegar sentimientos a varios personajes a la vez. Grandísimo juego.
-
Jul 24, 2016I'm convinced that this game should be played by everyone. You'll experience a great story with such a sad ending, awesome soundtrack/art, and, of course, gameplay which is pretty interesting: you will take control of two brothers. I played the game a year ago, but still remember those feelings. Just try it out.
-

Aug 14, 2018Watched through a walkthrough video. You bond with the characters immediately. Very good story.
-
May 23, 2020A story of two brothers on an adventure. The main mechanic in this game is you play both brothers with one controlled by each thumbstick and each trigger. It makes for some good light puzzling.
There is no dialog but the world and actions of the brothers speak for themselves. The environments are gorgeous. It is definitely worth the 2-3 hours it takes to complete. -
Jun 27, 2020A+
Art style is very good. Gameplay is mostly puzzles. Some stroy moments hits so hard. -
Aug 17, 2019The most exciting thing about this game - you can play together with your friend by synchronizing your actions. It was very entertaining.
-
Jul 14, 2022A very short but beautifully told story about two brothers on a quest to save their dad. The controls of this game aren't anything phenomenal but it's how it all ties together that make it a one of a kind experience that's definetely worth your time.
-
Feb 9, 2021Great "coop" game, where you can play with yourself only. It was really interesting idea and mechanics and I would recommend it to anyone willing to try something new. The game is also short enough to not get boring.

Jul 28, 2020The most beautiful game I've ever played--not just visually, but also in terms of the tale it tells and how the game tells it. One of the absolute best examples of mechanic- as-narrative that I've ever seen, making this a story which can *only* be told by a video game. Simply a work of art.

Oct 31, 2013Brothers, unlike many recent indie hits, is very down to earth. It is not rife with intellectual puzzles like Braid, it is not as open to interpretations as Journey. It just makes you think about simple human values.
-
Oct 24, 2013A gorgeous world, bursting with personality. Great storytelling makes up for the short length and unchallenging puzzles.
-
Oct 11, 2013Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a true marriage of gameplay and narrative, and it is frankly a complete triumph.
